WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
This is estimated to last until January 2024 based upon business needs.
The A/P Specialist is responsible for reviewing and processing a variety of client and overhead payables and charges, including vendor invoices, expense reports, credit card statements and internal charges. This position needs to be knowledgeable of general ledger accounts, job accounting/material codes and the correct usage of each. Needs to possess the ability to think out-side the box and be able to manage processes. Must know and understand company and client policies in order to be able to audit all payables against policy, review all items for accuracy and reasonableness, and question anything that appears to be incorrect.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Process vendor invoices and determine whether appropriate authorization and coding exists. Ensure that all data is saved as needed.
• Monitor the AP email inboxes and manage invoices timely.
• Ensure company policy is being followed for expense reports, travel credit cards, pre-paid card program and procurement cards.
• Identify any items that violate policy or appear incorrect and bring them to the attention of accounting management.
• Enforce the use of P.O.s in accordance with company procurement policy. Train or guide associates with P.O. entry or processes as needed.
• Send emails with vendor invoices/supporting documents out for approval, following the approval authorization table. Request and enforce return of approvals within 48 hours and follow-up on approvals not received.
• Reconcile monthly statements from vendors. Communicate with vendors regarding missing invoices or disputed charges as necessary.
• Process a variety of multi-job logs (i.e delivery bills, in-house studio charges).
• Provide information to the General Ledger group for monthly accruals.
• Be aware of sales and use tax laws in states Momentum does business in, apply appropriate use tax to vendor invoices as necessary.
• Coordinate with corporate shared services (in Omaha) for vendor set-up and maintenance, check processing and special handling as necessary

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)

• 2 plus years of A/P experience required.
• Exceptional communication skills and training ability necessary
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs including Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of computer systems.
• Data processing skills.
• Degree preferred.
• Self starter who has a take-charge mentality.
• Ability to solve problems and deal with all levels of employees

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Associate Finance Analyst is responsible for the overall financial management for our client portfolio, their commercial agreement, reporting and general day-to-day activities. The Analyst supports the finance team and business leads for all financial deliverables to clients, including reporting, reconciliations and staff plan pricing / reviews. The Analyst works closely to ensure financial elements of the client relationship are communicated, tracked, monitored and managed. The role of the Associate Finance Analyst requires strong attention to detail, is approachable and solution-oriented when presented with problems / issues by staff and team, breaks down problems and issues into critical parts which can be resolved.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Support the Client Finance team to monitor the financial health of assigned client accounts
• Run reports for month-end close, primarily related to revenue recognition
• Review staff plans and program estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with Momentum and client policies
• Track outstanding and approved program estimates
• Run budget and forecast reports to monitor project burn for both fee and pass through costs
• Support client budget reporting requirements, audit requests, and data collection
• Review expense write-offs and advise Client Finance Manager/Director of expenditures
• Manage cash flow while reviewing vendor payment requests
• Collect commentary on uncollected and past due invoices
• Facilitate communication with domestic and international offices for intercompany transactions and aid in processing documentation
• Review employee reimbursable expenses that require finance approval (i.e. non-billable expenses, expenses missing receipts)
• Review and approve travel requests from Momentum employees
• Maintain files, contracts and other relevant documentation for the Finance team
• Run ad hoc financial queries
• Supporting Momentum’s values

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Possess analytical rigor and be detail oriented
• Focused on strong/clear communication across all company departments
• Experience with SAP, not necessary but a plus
