The UAS Chief Engineer provides technical leadership, strategic direction, and execution oversight for the design, development, integration, and sustainment of advanced additively manufacturing unmanned systems. This role is responsible for end-to-end system engineering across air, ground, maritime, and/or multi-domain unmanned platforms, ensuring mission effectiveness, survivability, cybersecurity resilience, and compliance with applicable defense standards and regulations. The Chief Engineer serves as the primary technical authority for their assigned platform or product area, guiding cross-functional engineering teams, aligning technical roadmaps with customer requirements, and ensuring delivery of high-performance, secure, and reliable systems within cost and schedule constraints. This position works closely with government stakeholders, program management, operations, and executive leadership.

Essential Functions

• Provide overall technical leadership for additive manufactured unmanned system development programs, from concept through deployment and sustainment.
• Serve as the technical authority for system architecture, design trade studies, integration strategies, and risk management.
• Research and drive advancements in designs centered around additive manufacturing of UAS across the portfolio
• Lead system engineering processes including requirements development, decomposition, verification, validation, and configuration management.
• Oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, software, controls, AI/ML, autonomy, communications, cybersecurity, and systems engineering).
• Develop and maintain technical roadmaps aligned with defense customer needs and emerging operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable DoD standards, MIL-STDs, airworthiness/safety certifications, cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., RMF), and export regulations (e.g., ITAR/EAR).
• Direct integration of autonomy, navigation, sensors, communications, propulsion, and payload systems into cohesive, mission-ready platforms.
• Lead major technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR), ensuring readiness and program maturity at each phase.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks related to reliability, survivability, resilience, and mission performance.
• Support proposal development, customer briefings, and technical strategy discussions with government and defense partners.
• Foster innovation in autonomy, AI-enabled decision-making, resilient communications, and human-machine teaming.
• Mentor senior engineering staff and establish best practices in additive manufacturing, systems engineering, and product development.

Experience

• 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in defense, aerospace, robotics, or autonomous systems development.
• 10+ years of experience with progressive technical experience in engineering roles, with a proven track record of technical design and development
• 7+ years in senior technical leadership roles (e.g., Lead Engineer, Chief Engineer, Technical Director, or equivalent).
• 7+ years in senior technical engineering roles centered around additive manufacturing principles, programs, and execution
• Demonstrated experience leading at least one full lifecycle unmanned or autonomous system development program.
• Experience interfacing directly with DoD customers, prime contractors, and/or government program offices.
• Background in integrating sensors, navigation systems, propulsion systems, C2 systems, autonomy software, or mission payloads into operational platforms.

The Merchant Experience team is building a research practice within Shift4 Labs™ a customer-led product incubator purpose-built to design products that propel our Merchants forward. We are looking for an experienced, human-centered User Experience Researcher to support current product initiatives and establish the foundations of the Shift4 Labs design research practice. 

Our initial phase will be focused on establishing a nimble usability evaluation processes and formalizing our customer insights.  Ultimately, we hope to grow the research practice within Shift4 Labs to incorporate more generative research activities.  

The ideal candidate for this role is a highly skilled product researcher with a deep understanding of the role customer research plays in creating best-in-class experiences with an equal mix of usability and desirability. The VEG New ER Doctor (NERD) program is designed to transform practicing non-emergency veterinarians into exceptional, confident VEG ER doctors. This six-month deep dive into the action of emergency is a structured, immersive program like no other that allows participants to transition into full-time ER doctors at VEG after successful completion. Integrating academic and clinical teachings with individualized mentorship, this program fuels a passion for ER and creates a deeper meaning around life-saving veterinary heroics. WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

• It’s a mentorship program, not an internship! Too often, mentorship is promised but not delivered. When you’re part of the NERD program, you never go it alone in the ER and are supported through guidance and 1:1 feedback from experienced VEG doctors. 
• New ER Doctors (a.k.a. NERDS!) get up-close, firsthand ER experience, collaborating with and learning from top emergency doctors and specialists during 3-4 hospital shifts per week (days, swings, and nights), as well as through weekly case discussions, literature reviews, and hands-on training at state-of-the-art facilities. 

What CE experiences can you expect to attend during the program?

From hands-on training to weekly didactic learning, NERD program participants earn over 160 RACE-approved CE hours in just six months—which takes most doctors 10 years to complete! Some CE highlights include:

Position Overview

Woolpert is hiring a Technical Dynamics 365 Data Migration Manager to join our dynamic Corporate Applications. This position reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Applications. This role is accountable for leading and executing ERP data migrations for companies acquired by Woolpert in support of the firm’s growth strategy. This role is a hands-on technical leadership position within the Corporate Applications team, responsible for defining migration strategy, leading the IT data migration team, and designing and executing enterprise-wide data migration and ETL processes.

This role is critical to the successful integration of acquired companies into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Customer Engagement (CE) by ensuring accurate, timely, and auditable conversion of legacy data into Woolpert’s ERP ecosystem. The position requires a balance of people leadership and deep hands‑on technical execution, with direct involvement in complex data extraction, transformation, loading, reconciliation, and validation across global legal entities. Strong SQL expertise, data mapping, and validation experience are required to support complex financial, multicurrency, and operational datasets across diverse legal structures.

What You Will Do:

Leadership & Strategy

• Own and lead the ERP Data Migration workstream within Woolpert’s overall M&A integration program.
• Define and execute end‑to‑end data migration strategies for complex ERP integrations following acquisitions.
• Partner closely with the M&A Integration Director, Corporate Applications leadership, Business Process Owners, and acquisition stakeholders to define data requirements, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Lead and manage a blended team of approximately 10 employees and contractors, supporting multiple parallel ERP migrations globally.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency across migration and ETL processes.

Data Migration & ETL Execution

• Design, build, and oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from legacy systems into Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and CE.
• Lead data mapping and conversion for master data and historical transactional data, including complex financial, operational, and multicurrency datasets.
• Ensure accurate integration with downstream and upstream systems (e.g., Dayforce and other enterprise platforms).
• Execute mock conversions, cutover planning, and final production migrations with a strong focus on accuracy and auditability.
• Own data reconciliation, validation, and issue resolution between source systems and target ERP.

Data Quality, Governance & Validation

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of migrated data through robust validation, testing, and reconciliation processes.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, inconsistencies, gaps, and anomalies prior to migration.
• Design and implement error handling and rollback strategies to mitigate migration risk.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation covering mappings, transformation logic, validation results, and operational procedures.

Architecture & Continuous Improvement

• Own the architecture and design of ERP data migration solutions across all M&A activity.
• Reduce migration cycle time through innovative tools, automation, and repeatable frameworks.

The Program Data Science Analyst will play a critical role in supporting program and project planning, execution, and monitoring activities across various initiatives.
