The Role

SoFi is launching a brand-new commercial banking product — and we need a Staff Software Engineer to be its technical backbone.

Commercial Banking is SoFi's entry into institutional commercial banking. We're building the infrastructure that lets large institutional clients in crypto, fintech, and enterprise finance manage their money at SoFi — real-time payments, multi-account treasury management, and a closed-loop settlement network that operates 24/7/365. The systems you design will handle real institutional money from day one. The network you help architect — SEN (SoFi Exchange Network) — could become the default settlement rail for the industry.

As the Senior Staff Engineer on the Commercial Banking team, you'll be the technical leader the team looks to for the hardest problems — system design, API contracts, payment correctness, performance, and reliability. You'll set the technical bar, make architectural decisions that stick, and write the code that proves them out. This is a hands-on role: you'll be deep in the codebase while also shaping the direction for the engineers around you.

What You'll Do

Architect and Build

• Own the technical architecture for Commercial Banking's core systems — payment orchestration, client onboarding workflows, API Gateway, real-time settlement, and the services that power the client-facing experience.
• Design and implement the SoFi Exchange Network (SEN) — a real-time, 24/7/365 closed-loop payment network enabling instant settlement between SoFi commercial clients.
• Build the client onboarding orchestrator: a stateful workflow engine that provisions entities, bank accounts, entitlements, payment rails, limits, and pricing — with retry, rollback, and idempotency guarantees.
• Design enterprise-grade identity, RBAC, and maker/checker approval systems that support complex organizational structures with scoped account access, per-rail permissions, and configurable payment limits.
• Define API contracts that institutional clients will integrate against — getting the abstractions, error models, and versioning right from day one.
• Architect a sandbox environment that realistically simulates every payment rail, enabling clients to build and test their integrations with confidence.

Set the Technical Standard

• Establish system design patterns, coding standards, and engineering best practices for the Commercial Banking codebase.
• Drive technical decisions on data modeling, service boundaries, consistency guarantees, and failure handling across payment workflows where correctness is non-negotiable.
• Own observability strategy — structured logging, distributed tracing, alerting, and dashboards that give the team confidence in production.
• Lead technical design reviews and code reviews. Raise the quality bar and make it stick through example, not just feedback.
• Identify and address technical debt proactively — knowing when to take shortcuts for speed and when to invest in the right long-term solution.

Lead Through Influence

• Be the go-to technical leader on the team — the person engineers come to when they're stuck on a design problem, a performance issue, or a tricky integration.
• Mentor engineers at all levels. Help senior engineers grow toward staff-level thinking; help mid-level engineers develop stronger system design instincts.
• Partner with engineering management to shape the technical roadmap, estimate complexity, and sequence work for maximum impact.
• Drive cross-team technical alignment with other engineering teams at SoFi — working across identity, entitlements, accounts, payments, and core banking systems to ensure clean integration points.
• Represent the team's technical perspective in discussions with Product, Compliance, Risk, and Operations — translating business requirements into sound engineering decisions.

Make It Production-Ready

• Design systems that handle real money with the reliability and correctness that institutional clients demand — every transaction must be accounted for, every failure mode handled.
• Build for scale from day one — systems that work for early clients but are architected to support hundreds without rework.
• Own the technical side of client go-live: integration health checks, performance validation, monitoring readiness, and production cutover.
• Drive incident response and post-mortems. Build a culture where production issues are learning opportunities, not blame events.

What You'll Need

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a sustained track record of technical leadership on complex, production-critical systems.
• Deep distributed systems expertise — you can design services end-to-end, reason about consistency and ordering guarantees, and make pragmatic tradeoffs between correctness, availability, and latency.
• Hands-on mastery of JVM-based stacks (Kotlin or Java, Spring Boot) and modern infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines).
• Strong API design sensibility — you've designed APIs that external consumers depend on, and you understand the long-term cost of getting contracts wrong.
• Experience with stateful workflow systems — you've built or operated long-running, retryable, idempotent workflows in production.
• Proven ability to lead without authority — you influence technical direction through the quality of your ideas, your code, and your ability to bring people along.
• Excellent communication skills — you can write clear technical design documents, explain complex systems to non-technical stakeholders, and make your reasoning legible to the team.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have

• Experience building financial systems — payments, ledger, treasury, banking, or fintech where auditability, correctness, and regulatory compliance are table stakes.
• Experience building real-time payment systems (FedWire, FedNow, RTP, ACH origination) or settlement networks.
• Background in commercial or institutional banking (treasury management, FBO/omnibus accounts, correspondent banking).
• Experience with crypto-adjacent financial infrastructure — custodian banking, exchange settlement, stablecoin operations.
• Familiarity with AML/KYB compliance workflows and transaction monitoring in a regulated banking environment.
• Experience building developer-facing products — API gateways, developer portals, sandbox environments, webhook infrastructure.
• Prior work with workflow orchestration engines (Temporal, Cadence, Step Functions) for long-running stateful processes.
• Experience with event-driven architectures — Kafka, event sourcing, or CQRS patterns in high-throughput systems.

Their scope spans Infrastructure & Core Primitives and Platform Operations — essentially the backbone that enables all data capabilities across the organization. • Leading the technical evolution of one or more key platform subsystems.

What you’ll do

As a Staff Engineer on the Identity team, you will own the technical direction of one of Stripe's most strategically important product areas. This is not a role defined by task execution — it's a role defined by technical judgment, architectural influence, and the ability to turn an ambitious vision into a reliable, scalable system.

Responsibilities

• Own technical strategy — Define the architecture for Identity's core systems (Identity Store, headless verification platform, fraud detection infrastructure), make build-vs-buy-vs-partner decisions, and surface technical risks before they become customer-facing failures
• Lead 0-1 platform development — Architect net-new systems including the Identity Store, Networked Identity platform, and advanced fraud detection pipeline (behavioral biometrics, deepfake discriminators, adversarial training). Drive the evolution from a hosted-UI product to a headless-API and embedded-components platform
• Drive cross-functional alignment — Be the primary technical voice in roadmap and resourcing discussions. Partner with ML, product, legal, and engineering leads across Risk, Fraud, Link, Connect, and Crypto to ensure Identity's abstractions serve the full breadth of Stripe's product surface
• Raise the technical bar — Set engineering standards across ML, backend, mobile, and front-end; lead design reviews; and mentor senior engineers on the judgment needed to operate a high-stakes, externally-facing product
• Operate with ownership — Be accountable for reliability, scalability, and security of the systems you design — including the observability and alerting that catch model drift and fraud pattern shifts before customers do

We’re looking for an experienced product manager to lead and shape the future of the software platform that powers Stripe Terminal’s devices portfolio. Working closely with your engineering partners you will design, build and launch device software capabilities that delight users and differentiate Stripe’s solutions in the market. Working closely with our hardware experts you will build the multi-year strategy for how Stripe will continue to enhance the scalability, reliability, usability, and market differentiation of the software capabilities of our in-person commerce devices. 

In this role, you will work with a spectrum of users, from our largest platforms to small start ups as well as external technology partners to deeply understand user needs and market trends. You will obsess over stability, scalability, and expanding our product while delivering the best in person experiences in the world. 

What you'll do:

Set a motivating multi-year vision for device software in partnership with the Hardware team and then break it down into measurable, meaningful milestones for the Terminal OS Platform Team and the Firmware team. This includes creating buy-in, crafting roadmaps and OKRs, and navigating trade-offs.

• Partner with software and hardware engineers to deeply understand the technology that our devices rely on and how to build on that technology to support exponential growth and a world-class user experience. These experiences will include (but are not limited to) device boot up, device software updates (including AOSP, firmware and applications), device security, software and device performance, connectivity and devices accessories.
• Partner with cross-functional partners to research, document, and deeply understand what Terminal customers need to enable an excellent in person payments experience. 
• Build empathy with our end users and the differentiation they aim to deliver for their merchants.
• Deeply research and understand the competitive landscape and translate that understanding into differentiating features for your product suite.
• Collaborate with the Partnerships team to develop a compelling roadmap for how we can extend Terminal growth via third-party hardware partnerships and clearly communicate the business value of these partnerships in the context of our wider Terminal Hardware roadmap to gain alignment across Terminal and Stripe leadership.
• Use metrics to inform your point of view and leverage analytics to measure success.
• Define product requirements, provide clear guidance on prioritization, and support decisions related to development sequencing. You will also participate in sprint planning rituals to deliver against those requirements and the overall roadmap.
• Leverage your technical knowledge and experience to help your team make technical trade off decisions. 

We’re looking for someone who has:

• 8+ years of product management experience or equivalent
• Demonstrated success and strong execution track record in building and sustaining scalable technology products.
• Great interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication. You can collaborate and thrive in productive, healthy debate done with mutual respect and shared goals. You can make complex concepts accessible with clear communication
• Proven track record of successful stakeholder management including executive communications, handling escalations, and advocating for ongoing investment in your product.
• Experience working on products with developer interfaces (App deployment, APIs, SDKs); hardware or hardware-related product experience a plus.
• Technically adept systems thinker, ideally with a Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience working as a software engineer
• Open to travel to Asia, including traveling at times to our Hong Kong or Taiwan locations.

As part of this role, you will focus on working on Terminal’s Android devices and Tap to Pay development, with opportunities to build on Stripe’s backend payments infrastructure as well.

The Team + The Role

Pendo’s Customer Engineering team is the technical backbone of the pre- and post-sales customer motion. The team brings together work that has historically sat across Customer Success, Technical Account Management, and Solutions Engineering into one full-lifecycle technical owner. Customer Engineering helps customers connect technical execution to business outcomes and realize the value of their investment in Pendo.

As a Senior Customer Engineer, you own strategic and complex Enterprise accounts across acquisition, implementation, adoption, expansion, and escalation. You lead technical strategy for complex deployments, resolve ambiguous customer challenges, and partner closely with account teams to drive retention, expansion, and customer value. Your impact extends beyond your own accounts through playbooks, coaching, repeatable fixes, and workflow improvements that raise the capability of the broader Customer Engineering team.

This is a remote role supporting a West Coast territory. 

What this looks like day-to-day

• New customer acquisition and selling: Partner with Account Directors on pre-sales motions for new customer acquisition, product expansion, and expansion across lines of business. You identify customer pain, craft and deliver tailored demos, and lead technical evaluations through requirements gathering, success criteria, installation guidance, and hands-on workshops.
• Complex implementations and value realization: Lead onboarding for strategic customers, including planning, implementation, integrations, and training. You build customer-specific implementation playbooks, guide complex deployments with executive visibility, and ensure customers realize value during onboarding and over time.
• Adoption, expansion, and growth: Identify opportunities to expand adoption across underutilized features, untapped products, and new lines of business. When adoption stalls, you diagnose root causes, design a path forward, and connect technical work to measurable business outcomes.
• Technical escalation: Serve as an escalation point for complex technical challenges raised by other Customer Engineers. You resolve ambiguous problems with multiple variables and tradeoffs, involving Product or Engineering only when truly needed.
• Team capability building: Build playbooks, document repeatable fixes, coach peers, and improve how Customer Engineering work gets done across the team. You use AI tools to accelerate content creation, surface patterns across accounts, and share practical workflow findings with the broader team.
• Early account impact: Assess account health, risks, stakeholder relationships, and the highest-priority problems to solve within your portfolio. You establish trust with Account Directors and customer stakeholders, then independently lead complex customer interactions that move accounts forward.
• Quarterly business outcomes: Drive measurable improvement in customer health, retention, expansion, and technical resolution across strategic accounts. You contribute reusable frameworks, playbooks, or processes that other Customer Engineers use and become a trusted advisor to Account Directors on account health and technical strategy.

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be a player-coach leading a high-caliber engineering team building advanced platforms. At RADAR, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The expected base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000. The Tactical Recon and Strike (TRS) team at Anduril develops aerial small drones (Group 1-3) and all equipment to test, deploy and operate. About the Role

Our mandate is to make inference deployment boring and unattended.

Anthropic serves Claude to millions of users across GPUs, TPUs, and Trainium — and every model update must reach production safely, quickly, and without disrupting service. We're building the systems that make inference deployment continuous and unattended.

As a Software Engineer on the Launch Engineering team, you'll design and build the deployment infrastructure that moves inference code from merge to production. This is a resource-constrained optimization problem at its core: validation and deployment consume the same accelerator chips that serve customer traffic — your deploys compete with live user requests for the same hardware. Every model brings different fleet sizes, startup times, and correctness requirements, so the system must adapt continuously. You'll build systems that navigate these constraints — orchestrating validation, scheduling deployments intelligently, and driving down cycle time from merge to production.

If you've built deployment systems at scale and gravitate toward the hardest problems at the intersection of automation and resource management, this team will give you an outsized scope to work on them.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment orchestration that continuously moves validated inference builds into production across GPU, TPU, and Trainium fleets, unattended under normal conditions
• Improve capacity-aware deployment scheduling to maximize deployment throughput against constrained accelerator budgets and variable fleet sizes

COMPENSATION

onX is committed to compensating all employees fairly and equitably for their contributions. For this position, applicants can expect to make between $146,000 to $182,000 upon hire. What You’ll Do

As an established technical leader within our team, you will focus on designing and implementing the backend services for our next-generation Lending Platform. The role:

We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join Web Core, a new web platform team at SoFi. This team will be central to scaling our 80+ consumer-facing and internal web applications. In this role, you’ll drive the design, architecture, and development of platform-level tools, libraries, documentation, and frontend patterns that power our web ecosystem.

As a hands-on platform engineer, you’ll shape the future of SoFi’s web platform infrastructure—enabling consistency, performance, and scalability across products.
