As a Senior Process Engineer at ASM, you will work with semiconductor processing and analytical equipment to research, develop and optimize processes focused on oxidation, annealing, curing, Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD, PEALD), Epitaxy or PECVD for logic, memory, analog, power, and MEMS applications. About the Role:

As the Sales/ Project Engineer for Ziplines Ground Systems and Site Infrastructure, you’ll spearhead the deployment success of Ziplines Offsite Charging sites, the game changing autonomous loading Zipping Point, and other site infrastructure. You’ll be handling all deployment topics, finding innovative solutions that work for partner sites, executing solutions to problems and roadblocks, and driving feedback and product changes to simplify and accelerate the rollout of Ziplines delivery infrastructure. About the Role

The Ground System Deployments team is looking for an innovative, collaborative and self-driven Civil Project Engineer to join the team to ensure the successful deployment of Zipline’s Ground Systems in all possible applications and configurations. 

This role is well suited to seasoned civil engineers looking to apply their experience designing novel and innovative sites, foundations and structures to advance and accelerate the new and growing industry of  autonomous drone delivery ground systems. 

With broad scope to influence the design of current and next generation systems this role will jopin a stellar team responsible for the site level designs, layouts, civil designs, structural and foundation designs and implementation. • Act as the Civil Engineer of Record for Zipline projects in Texas and other jurisdictions
• Create, refine and update civil layouts for the sites. Act as the Zipline representative for any technical clarifications from cities or jurisdictions regarding our designs. 
• Contribute to the civil and site design standards of Zipline sites. 
• Contribute to the pavement, drainage, and sitescape designs and approaches of Zipline sites and structures.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Civil Professional Engineering qualification with stamping capacity in Texas (or the ability to quickly obtain stamping capacity in Texas). Ability to stamp in Arizona and other sunbelt states a strong preference, or the ability and capacity to quickly gain this qualification. 
• Bachelor's degree or higher  with minimum 6 years of experience.
• The individual should have an Engineering background (Civil, others acceptable with relevant experience and stamping capacity) and have worked in the construction, electrical design/EPC, or renewable energy industry, or equivalent industries for 4+ years. In this role as a Senior Engineer, Surface Technology (Parts Coating) reporting within the Surface Technology Group, you will work with other ASM global technology team members including materials scientists, equipment engineers, process, quality and field service engineers as well as external customers to solve time critical or strategic technology challenges and develop unique advanced solutions in collaborative partnerships.

The position requires the individual to:

• Drive improvements in Thermal & Plasma Enhanced ALD system parts longevity, stability, refurbishment / service strategy and process performance to enable reliable and efficient deposition of a range of next generation advanced thin film materials exhibiting various electrical & physical properties.
• Work independently to develop new approaches to coat, protect and refurbish internal vacuum chamber components to improve performance, lifetime, defectivity and CoO for customers processing various materials for use as functional/active layers in semiconductor device stacks.
• Connect process conditions, physical characterization, and electrical response towards understanding of mechanisms.
• Specify, procure and develop state-of-the-art advanced process equipment.
• Formulate new protective and release coating formulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
