• Ensure the execution of product and process requirements to meet quality performance targets. Define and improve such requirements. Partner with production to ensure incoming material inspection, process control plans, and end of line test capture the essential quality requirements for successful customer shipments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field
• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality in aerospace/defense or similar hardware.
• Working knowledge of design review and quality management of precision mechanical parts & sub-assemblies, PCBA, harnessing, avionics, systems integration, composites, propulsion systems, and lethality systems.
• Experience driving product quality and performance requirements to test and measurement system development and optimization. Leading the transition from engineering qualification to manufacturing variance testing for product quality coverage.
• Working knowledge of product development methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) elements such as Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing processes.
• Application of industry standards and best practices to meet government customer quality expectations.

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support flight line operations in Victorville, CA before relocating to Arsenal-1 in Q1 2027. This role is on the Quality Engineering team and will focus on quality assurance and process integrity for aircraft operations, integration, and testing directly on the flight line. Your expertise will bridge development engineering, production, and field operations to ensure aircraft functionality and performance under real-world conditions. Position Overview  

Align offers a wide variety of services centered around the data center white space.  We are a technology solution provider specialized in data center white space design and fit outs. Our services include designing layouts, overhead support systems (to support cable pathways and electrical systems), power striping/redundancy planning for distribution from PDU’s to cabinet receptacles, conduit pathways, and low voltage structured cable infrastructure.  As a Data Center Construction Project Manager, you will guide the build of electrical and mechanical distribution from the upstream critical equipment for delivery to compute/storage/network infrastructures. This role is to understand the design intent and customer expectations and will be responsible for making it happen! You will be onsite daily interacting with the construction trades/sub contractors and will be directly responsible for managing schedule/QC in the field.

• 5+ years of experience in construction management of large, complex mission critical projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) plants – Some Data Center Construction experience is preferred

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Durability Test Engineer to join our team dedicated to revolutionizing urban mobility. This role focuses specifically on the whole-vehicle and in-service durability testing of our autonomous robotaxi, ensuring its long-term reliability through real-world and proving ground validation.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle-Level Test Plan Development: Design, document, and manage comprehensive whole-vehicle durability and accelerated mileage accumulation (AMA) test plans across various terrains and environmental conditions.
• Proving Ground and Road Testing Execution: Lead and execute vehicle durability tests at external proving grounds, public roads, and specialized test facilities, ensuring adherence to rigorous test cycles and safety protocols.
• Data Acquisition (DAQ) Setup and Testing: Plan and execute on-vehicle instrumentation and data acquisition tests to accurately capture loads, strains, and vibrations on critical vehicle structures and systems.
• In-Service Failure Analysis: Diagnose and investigate durability-related failures that occur during on-road testing or early field operation, determining the root cause through hands-on inspection and data analysis.
• Component Durability Validation: Track and verify the performance and reliability of newly integrated components (suspension, steering, brakes, etc.) during vehicle-level durability testing to ensure their life and correct function.
• Reporting and Feedback Loop: Generate clear, detailed reports summarizing test results, vehicle degradation rates, and identified failure modes. Proactively communicate actionable findings and proposed design mitigations to the Vehicle Design and CAE teams.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in whole-vehicle durability testing, road load data acquisition (RLDA), or performance validation within the automotive or heavy equipment industry. Experience with electric vehicles (EVs) is highly desirable. Technical Skills:
• Proven, hands-on experience with on-vehicle instrumentation setup, including strain gauges, accelerometers, displacement transducers, and thermocouple installation.
• Experience with setting up and operating multi-channel data acquisition (DAQ) hardware (e.g., Somat, HBM, Dewetron) for vehicle testing.

We are standing up a new Robot Learning team focused on whole-body loco-manipulation for precision tasks in heavy manufacturing. 

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join us as a founding member. You will be among the first ML engineers on a research stack that does not exist anywhere else in the field built around visual reasoning, learned action policies, and reinforcement-learning fine-tuning from real customer data.

What You’ll Do

• Build the team's robot-learning stack from the ground up. This is a founding role; you are designing the training infrastructure, data pipelines, simulation environments, model architectures, and deployment workflows — not inheriting them. Multi-modal perception, scene understanding, and learned action generation work in tight coordination on the stack you help create.
• Stand up ML infrastructure — training pipelines, experiment tracking, data versioning, reproducible sim-to-real workflows.
• Train policies across manipulation, locomotion, and the whole-body control coupling between them. On legged platforms performing precision tasks, manipulation and locomotion are not separable — every arm motion shifts the centre of mass; the whole-body controller compensates in real time to maintain accuracy at the tool. We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Tech Lead) for this new team. You write code, set the technical direction, make the architectural decisions the team builds on, mentor junior and intermediate engineers, and help shape how the team works.

What You’ll Do

• Set the ML technical direction for the team, architectural choices on perception, reasoning, and action generation; training methodology; data strategy; the path from research bet to deployed capability. As one of the first senior hires, you are designing the approach, not extending it.
• Own the architectural workstreams that define the team's research and engineering bets — multiple core build streams across action-policy learning, world-model-based supervision, and policy-orchestration interfaces.
• Design hybrid physics-ML architectures for the integrated loco-manipulation stack. • Mentor and shape the team, guide junior and intermediate ICs across software, ML, robotics, and perception backgrounds; establish code-quality standards, review practices, and engineering norms; help identify and attract next hires. You write code throughout — this is a tech-lead role, not a step away from the work.

Who You Are

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on robot learning experience. You have shipped sim-to-real policies on real robots, across different tasks or platforms.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentorship. You have made architectural decisions on robot learning systems that others built on, and you have meaningfully shaped the development of more-junior engineers as a tech lead. This can be in academia (leading a lab subgroup, advising students) or industry.

Title: Lead Mechanical Operations Engineer - New Albany, Ohio Campus

The Lead Mechanical Operations Engineer will support and lead the local data center site team on advanced mechanical engineering duties within the new New Albany, Ohio datacenter campus. Other responsibilities:

• Mentor and grow the mechanical team.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Experience in engineering consulting in the agrifood, bioindustrial, F&B, and/or pharmaceutical industries.
• 8+ years of design engineering experience, preferably within the design consulting space.
• Knowledge of HVAC system design and experience with central utilities including steam, chilled water and compressed air systems.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical codes and standards including ASHRAE & ACGIH
• Familiarity with ISPE and HACCP requirements
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD & Revit

The Controls Engineer will:

• Lead and support the design of automation projects, developing specifications for control panels, networks, and software (primarily Allen-Bradley PLC/PACs and Factorytalk View ME/SE HMI and SCADA).
• Translate process or packaging applications into detailed construction packages for control panel designs and electrical installation scopes. Construction packages typical include equipment arrangement drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, control panel drawings, etc.
• Mentor and supervise project team members, enhancing team collaboration and project execution.
• Provide comprehensive lifecycle support for projects, including system design, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning.
• Perform site surveys and offer hands-on support during installation, focusing on control system deployment.
• Adhere to and ensure compliance with relevant codes (UL508A, NEC) and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 2-6 years of experience in control systems, manufacturing, or consulting-design environments including experience commissioning systems, preferably as a lead.
• Proficient in automation project tasks including design, client coordination, and bid package preparation.
• Skilled in control panel and network design, instrument selection, and control system programming.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for control panel design and electrical construction packages.
• Familiarity / Experience with electrical engineering construction packages – single line diagrams, panel schedules, power plans, etc.
• Hands-on experience surveying existing control installations and preparing as-built conditions of systems.
• Experience surveying and planning control systems projects without support of a manager.
• Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation software—Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000 for PLC programming and FactoryTalk View ME / SE for HMI and SCADA development.

About the Role

Coordinate scale up activities at the Ohio site, ensuring all tooling and processes are correctly implemented.  Oversee operational, and performance qualification of any proprietary equipment. As a Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will serve as the primary on-site lead for our Ohio facility, acting as the critical link between Carbon’s strategic vision and our manufacturing partner’s daily operations. In this high-impact individual contributor role, you will oversee the end-to-end production process ensuring every unit meets our rigorous quality, cost, and delivery standards without the need for direct report management. Position Responsibilities

• Engineer mechanical components and subassemblies for rotating machinery to satisfy customer specifications and targeted performance objectives, working under the guidance of a lead engineer
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings, and perform supporting analyses such as tolerance accumulation, bearing load calculations, and preload assessments
• Ensure designs comply with company requirements and applicable industry standards, including GD&T and design-for-manufacturability principles

Salary Range:$85,000-90,000
