About You and The Role  

As a Construction Foreman, you’ll own the transition of new and upgraded sites from construction handoff to operational readiness. You’ll lead a team of technicians to verify construction quality, install and integrate systems, deploy new technologies, and ensure infrastructure reliability

You be a key stakeholder in our site build process from initial site QC & constructibility, assisting the construction management team with construction oversight, commissioning, and closeout. You will work closely with the rest of the construction team and contractor base to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and build scalable, repeatable construction processes to expand our network.

Your leadership will drive site performance, uptime, and technical excellence, enabling seamless operations at scale. To ensure success in this role, you’ll ensure execution of processes, standards, and performance metrics that guide every stage of site activation and/or maintenance. You’ll proactively resolve issues before they impact operations, foster strong collaboration across construction, engineering, and operations teams. You will seek to improve workflows based on field feedback and data insights. By combining hands-on technical oversight with strategic planning and team development, you’ll deliver sites that launch on time, perform reliably, and scale within our growing network.

You will also be working with the Engineering and Operations teams to tackle all the technical challenges we face head-on to get our customer’s sites operational as quickly as possible. You will have to be technically savvy, and be able to develop relationships with customers, suppliers and contractors.

What You'll Bring 

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in commercial or industrial construction.
• Experience with vertical infrastructure (e.g., towers, silos, telecommunications structures) strongly preferred.

About the Role

The Ground System Deployments team is looking for an innovative, collaborative and self-driven Civil Project Engineer to join the team to ensure the successful deployment of Zipline’s Ground Systems in all possible applications and configurations. 

This role is well suited to seasoned civil engineers looking to apply their experience designing novel and innovative sites, foundations and structures to advance and accelerate the new and growing industry of  autonomous drone delivery ground systems. 

With broad scope to influence the design of current and next generation systems this role will jopin a stellar team responsible for the site level designs, layouts, civil designs, structural and foundation designs and implementation. Interacting with various mechanical, structural and electrical engineering stakeholders across the organization this role will  ensure the overall system and its site design work hand in hand to ensure the successful deployment of Ziplines Ground Systems within cost and timeline goals. 

This role has a mandate to drive positive change through the organization - as problems or scenarios occur this individual will be tasked with both 0 to 1 problem/project responsibility and also working with the broad engineering and deployments organization to implement foundation changes to product and process as needed. 

This position can be based out of our San Francisco, Dallas or Houston Offices. Onsite is preferred, but this role can be remote flexible with up to 50% travel for the right candidate.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Act as the Civil Engineer of Record for Zipline projects in Texas and other jurisdictions
• Create, refine and update civil layouts for the sites. Act as the Zipline representative for any technical clarifications from cities or jurisdictions regarding our designs. 
• Contribute to the civil and site design standards of Zipline sites. 
• Contribute to the pavement, drainage, and sitescape designs and approaches of Zipline sites and structures. 
• Advise on permitting, codes and and other certification efforts relevant to the projects and structures.  
• Engage and interact with cities and relevant inspectors or relevant external parties to ensure timely project approvals and deployment. 
• Ensure relevant and applicable civil strategies are investigated and implemented where appropriate - grading designs, curb designs, pavement designs

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Civil Professional Engineering qualification with stamping capacity in Texas (or the ability to quickly obtain stamping capacity in Texas). Ability to stamp in Arizona and other sunbelt states a strong preference, or the ability and capacity to quickly gain this qualification. 
• Bachelor's degree or higher  with minimum 6 years of experience.
• The individual should have an Engineering background (Civil, others acceptable with relevant experience and stamping capacity) and have worked in the construction, electrical design/EPC, or renewable energy industry, or equivalent industries for 4+ years. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and accountability for all operational performance engineering activities across Origis Energy–owned and third‑party PV and BESS assets.

• Lead the development, documentation, and implementation of technical processes and procedures across the organization.
• Support and evaluate technical investment decisions that improve operational efficiency, reliability, and long‑term asset value.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Asset Management technical platform (Power Factors Unity), including vendor coordination, onboarding, QA, and optimization.
• Partner with O&M subcontractors and site technicians to identify, diagnose, and resolve outages, chronic issues, and product failures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mathematical Science required (Master’s degree preferred)
• 8-10 years of performance engineering and/or analytics in the energy industry working with 20MW+ PV plants; 2+ years of team leadership experience preferred
• Experience performing data analysis to improve fleet performance and reliability
• Experience driving the identification and resolution of product failures; working to optimize plant performance and directing performance projects with site technicians
• Knowledge of monitoring and communications protocols, substation equipment and utility meters, battery backup systems and inverters, SCADA and MET station equipment.
• Proficient in understanding asset design documentation, PV performance modelling and analysis

The Insurance Risk Manager acts as internal subject matter expert and will provide solutions to grow the business to include analyzing insurance needs by identifying risk exposures and analyzing and classifying risks to provide optimum coverage, costs and claim settlements. The ideal candidate will be someone with commercial risk and insurance experience, with a solid background and foundation in the fundamentals of commercial property & casualty insurance and construction insurance; with renewable energy industry experience being a huge plus.

The Opportunity 

As an Account Director, you will play a crucial role in implementing the go-to-market strategy for this exciting sector and you will forge strong relationships with our clients and prospects to empower them as they adopt Orennia’s products. Reporting directly to a Managing Director, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop marketing messaging, client engagement approaches and sales strategies to align with our clients most pressing needs. What You’ll Do

• Implement the go-to-market strategy to engage leaders across renewable energy developers, IPPs, private equity firms, banking, and clean fuels developers. 
• Achieve sales quotas for named accounts on a quarterly and annual basis by sourcing and managing a robust pipeline.
• Create detailed business plans designed to land clients and strategies for new prospecting into key accounts and verticals.
• Demonstrate business value through a top-down strategy leveraging content and a high-touch evaluation process.
• Travel to conferences, industry events, and client locations as required to support business needs.
• Collaborate with the cross- functional team to develop positioning and messaging for the sector.
• Serve as the face of the company by understanding our products/services and be able to effectively communicate their value to clients.

Who You Are

• You have a proven track record of success as a quota-carrying sales representative selling analytics, software or SaaS solutions, ideally in the energy transition space. 
• You have the ability to lead and negotiate high price points and/or enterprise deals.
• You are well versed in digital selling with the ability to drive sales cycles with remote clients.
• You have experience working in a high-growth, multi-disciplinary team.
• You have excellent writing skills with an ability to communicate to the C-suite and other executives.
• You have experience or demonstrable passion in renewable technologies, data, analytics and power markets.
• You have deep intellectual curiosity with a results-focused relentless drive for growth.
• You are excited about working in a fast-paced scale-up environment, and embracing change and ambiguity.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales or marketing.
