The Role

Let's start with the role

As a CRM Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating, along with the CRM Manager, the execution of the CRM strategy for the Betano brand in Bulgaria, covering both Sportsbook and Casino products across multiple channels. Your goal will be to increase customer engagement across all channels and drive growth in active players, retention, reactivation, and cross-sell objectives for Sportsbook and Casino customers.

• Collaborate with the CRM Manager and HQ team to develop a comprehensive, data-driven CRM strategy tailored to the assigned market, considering local compliance, market conditions and competition;
• Plan and develop local, personalized and targeted campaigns using relevant customer channels, such as onsite messaging, email, SMS, and push notifications;

JOB SCOPE

• Oversee the profitable growth of retention channels, including but not limited to email, sms, direct mail, popups and push notifications. Where required, you may work within subscription, membership, loyalty programs and more.

JOB SCOPE

• Oversee the profitable growth of retention channels, including but not limited to email, sms, direct mail, popups and push notifications. Where required, you may work within subscription, membership, loyalty programs and more.
• Write briefs and ensure the rest of the team is able to execute on it
• Complete reports with a high degree of accuracy, checking against multiple data points
• Analyse metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of retention efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvements, with Statlas and the Growth Map as your guide.
• Collaborate with design, content and any other relevant teams to create compelling and engaging email content, ensuring brand consistency and messaging alignment.
• Ensure the timely delivery of relevant deliverables (emails, sms etc), which includes effective internal project management and management of clients and their teams.

✅ Responsibilities:
✔️ Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other teams to achieve complex objectives.
✔️ Responsible for security architecture design from cloud infrastructure to application through the implementation of "secure by design" principles.
✔️ Collaborate with product managers, architects, and developers on the implementation of the security controls platform ecosystem and products.
✔️ Proof security implementations within infrastructure and application deployment manifests and the CI/CD pipelines.
✔️ Define required policies, controls, and capabilities for the protection of products and environments.

✅ Minimum Requirements:

✔️ Experience in analysing and securing microservices and applications developed using JavaScript and Typescript.
✔️ Experience with CI/CD pipelines (such as Gitlab, Jenkins) and infrastructure-as-a-code models (such as Terraform, Helm, or CloudFormation).
✔️ Hands-on development experience in Python/shell scripting.
✔️ Strong understanding of supply chain security, software integrity, and secure software delivery.
✔️ Experience with Docker and mesh technologies (such as ISTIO).
✔️ Experience with architecture and security reviews, threat modelling, and application risk is highly desired.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced product leader with deep expertise in Sportsbook platform to define and lead the sportsbook product vision at a strategic level. As Director of Product, Sportsbook you will own the long-term strategy, innovation roadmap, and overall product lifecycle for sportsbook offerings globally, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and market trends. You will lead and mentor a team of product managers, collaborate across functions (trading, UX, data, technology, marketing, compliance, analytics & BI), and champion user-centric, data-driven decision making.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Strategic Leadership & Vision:

• Define and evangelize a clear, ambitious sportsbook product vision aligned to company strategy and market opportunities (trading, UX, CRM, retention/loyalty, mobile-first experiences.
• Develop medium- and long-term product roadmaps that balance innovation, growth, risk, and operational excellence.
• Drive market, competitor, and regulatory analysis to shape product strategy and to ensure competitive differentiation and compliance.
• Define and track product KPIs/OKRs/metrics for revenue growth, user acquisition & retention, product performance, and ROI, report regularly to senior leadership.

Team & Stakeholder Management:

• Lead, mentor and scale a high-performing product team within the sportsbook domain.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and best practices across disciplines, promoting agile methodologies and data-driven decision making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership (engineering, trading, marketing, compliance, CRM, legal, customer support) to ensure implementation of robust, scalable sportsbook products.
• Ensure stakeholder alignment and buy-in on product vision, roadmap, prioritization, trade-offs, and business/technical constraints.

Product Lifecycle & Execution:

• Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle for sportsbook features — ideation, requirements definition, design, development, launch and iteration — with oversight of backlog, sprints, QA, releases, and documentation.
• Ensure clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), market requirement documents, journey mapping, and feature specifications that articulate user stories and product goals.
• Manage supplier and third-party integrations (trading providers, gaming content providers, CRM/marketing tools, analytics & BI) ensuring quality, profitability, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive data-driven iteration: use analytics, A/B testing, user feedback, and market data to refine and evolve sportsbook offering continuously.

Who You Are:

• Experience: At least 5+ years in product leadership roles, with minimum 3+ years in Sports betting environments.
• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of sportsbook operations, trading, odds modelling, consumer behavior in betting, CRM/retention mechanics.
• Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to craft and deliver long-term product visions and roadmaps, balancing strategic initiatives with execution realities.
• Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with experience in defining & measuring KPIs, using analytics, market/competitive research, and data to inform strategy and iteration.
