We are hiring a Director of Employee Communications to reset and lead this function at a higher strategic and operational level. As we set out to become a $10B company in the age of AI, we must drive a high-performance culture grounded in clear strategy and operating at pace. To do this, we must raise the bar on how our internal comms operates and delivers the information employees need in order to execute successfully, while strengthening leadership alignment, employee trust and clarity during periods of change. This requires a Director-level leader who can set the strategy and operating model for the function, influence senior stakeholders, lead through others and drive into execution when needed with core partners, including executive leadership, the People team and Global Comms. It is important to base this role in the U.S. (San Francisco, NYC, or Austin) so the Director is in the time zones where leadership is primarily making decisions that directly impact employees and the internal communications function day-to-day in addition to supporting high-velocity, high-stakes communications with senior leaders in real-time. Anaplan is hiring an ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE focusing on selling into the Office of the CFO (Financial Consolidation, Planning and Reporting). In this role, you will take your proven track record of selling sophisticated technology solutions and account management and sell an incredibly versatile platform. Our sales team is helping industry leaders understand the impact of Anaplan products and how our connected planning solution is ending siloed decision-making. You will help our customers achieve their immediate business goals while setting their businesses up for the future.
This role will be a catalyst for Anaplan’s continued growth while leading digital transformation. Reporting directly to the GTM Head, you will support sales activity in a defined geographic territory, mostly greenfield accounts with several existing Anaplan customers. This type of territory requires someone to further build our footprint by hunting and locking in new logo accounts as well as rapidly growing opportunities within the current customer base.
Your Impact
- Engaging with the Office of the CFO and organizations prospects to identify broken business processes and position Anaplan’s unique ability to solve the problem.

Your Qualifications
- 5+ years of consultative sales experience into Fortune 2000 companies, ideally in SaaS solutions (but not required)
- Shown success selling into Vice President / Senior Vice President and C-level buyers
- History of overachieving sales quota & targets, including demonstrated history of multiple high six-figure annual contract value (ACV) deals (services and/or software)
- Demonstrated network in your industry territory, with a mix of some customers and implementation partners
- Domain understanding (Supply Chain, FP&A, Workforce Planning & Sales) and knowledge of how these functions plan, process work and make decisions
- Strong, demonstrated opportunity management practices (e.g. sales process, qualification, executive presentation skills, quote presentation, and negotiation), and ability to balance multiple (3-5) opportunities at once
- Business, Finance, Economics, related BS/BA degree or relevant years of experience
- Demonstrated experience selling into technology, media, and/or telecommunication accounts
- Demonstrated understanding of the pressing business challenges faced by technology, media, and telecommunication organizations today.

As developer education lead, you’ll own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution for how developers learn to build with Claude. This is not a traditional content role. You’ll sit at the intersection of DevRel, product, and education—deeply embedded in product launches, working cross-functionally with engineering, developer relations, GTM, and the broader education team to ensure every major capability ships with the educational content developers need to adopt it. This is a technical role, with an expectation of using and testing dev tools in your workflows.
You’ll build and own a content pipeline that moves from idea to validation to production to launch—replacing ad-hoc, vibes-based prioritization with a system that’s rigorous about what gets made and why. You don’t need to be a video editor (we have a team for that), but having an eye for edits, pacing, and trends is a plus. What matters most is a deep sense of what makes content go viral, what restaurant operators care about, and how to turn ideas into high-performing posts.
This role will also work directly with our Founder and CEO, ghostwriting scripts, shaping narratives, producing during filming sessions, and capturing customer case studies that bring our product impact to life.
This is a full-time, office-based role requiring presence 5 days a week to foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams — Monday, Tuesday, and Friday at the Menlo office, and Wednesday and Thursday at the San Francisco office.

Salary Range
In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is between $90,000 - $115,000 in San Francisco. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
