Discord's Privacy team handles the user-facing side of privacy at scale — processing complaints, supporting investigations, and preparing materials that feed into regulatory engagements. In this role, you'll work from established playbooks to manage a steady volume of incoming privacy requests, support the team's investigation workflows, and serve as an escalation point for the BPO contractors who handle initial queue triage. Discord's IT function is at an inflection point. We have a strong support team, and now we need a leader who can build an engineering discipline on top of it. This role reports to the Head of Security & IT and owns the full IT surface: identity and access, endpoint and device trust, SaaS governance, workplace infrastructure, and internal tooling. Your mandate is to transform how IT operates — a fundamental shift from reactive support into a team that writes code, ships automation, and builds the platforms that a top-tier engineering company deserves.

This is a building role, not a maintenance role. You'll inherit a functioning support operation and a set of tools that work, but the engineering layer doesn't exist yet. You're here to create it, build the muscle to automate, integrate, and ship to help Discord scale. You should be just as comfortable architecting an identity platform as you are debugging a network issue or writing a Terraform module.

You also own the IT side of the security boundary: identity and access management, endpoint protection, device trust, and the compliance controls that live within IT. The Social Commerce team is building a storefront for game developers to sell directly to their players in Discord. Today, we have a set of data dashboards that help our top game developer and publisher partners understand their audiences and measure the performance of their Discord surface areas. Discord's ads business is growing fast — and we're building it the right way. A critical part of doing that is making sure the right integrity infrastructure grows alongside it, and that's where Trust & Safety Strategy & Operations comes in. We're hiring a founding member of Ads Policy Operations to help us get it right from the start. This is a zero-to-1 role: you won't be inheriting a playbook, you'll be writing it.

You'll be embedded in Trust & Safety and work closely with our Commercial Policy team, Discord Business Organization (DBO), Sales, Legal, and Product to stand up the workflows, standards, and relationships that keep Discord's ads ecosystem safe and trustworthy. You’ll sit at the intersection of Business Development, Product, and Finance, ensuring our partnership deals are structured, modeled, and operationalized effectively as our B2B motion scales. This is a high-impact role that touches deal strategy, financial modeling, pricing, analytics, and cross-functional operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Serve as the strategic connective tissue between Business Development and Product on Nitro partnerships, ensuring alignment on deal priorities, product capabilities, and go-to-market strategy
• Provide analytical support to Consumer Revenue leadership by building reporting, surfacing insights on partnership performance, and delivering data-driven recommendations that inform business decisions
