The hardware sensing team is responsible for the benchmarking, characterizing, and nomination and integration of all sensors. The expected base salary range for this full-time position in California is $160,000 - $240,000 USD. The Senior Engineer Team Lead is responsible for the validation of the autonomous vehicle stack with a primary emphasis on the interface between software and physical hardware. This role leads the development and execution of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing strategies to ensure that perception, planning, and control algorithms interact safely and reliably with vehicle sensors, actuators, and ECUs.

The ML Data Service team is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Staff Tech Lead Manager (TLM) to lead the development and operation of our core machine learning data infrastructure. This critical role requires a blend of deep technical expertise in machine learning systems, large-scale data processing, and proven leadership ability to manage both individual contributors and technical direction.
The ML Data Service team is responsible for providing reliable, high-quality, and easily accessible data for all ML use cases. As owners of the "Data Engineering" phase of the ML lifecycle, they manage the most critical input to any ML system: the data itself. Our infrastructure supports hundreds of data pipelines and petabytes of data, directly enabling the success of our flagship products.

This role is hybrid from our Boston office and requires two in-office days per week, ideally Tuesday and Thursday.

About the role...
This person will own all aspects of product data science, forecasting, and business intelligence for User Growth. They will lead a team of 6 to 10 data scientists spanning staff to junior levels, with a mandate to coach, develop, and grow their careers while also expanding the team by hiring exceptional talent over time. The ideal candidate combines deep technical fluency in causal inference, statistical/ML modeling, and experimentation with genuine leadership ability: the kind of person who raises the bar for everyone around them.
This role reports to the Head of Data Science & Analytics and partners closely with executive leadership in Engineering, Product, Design, and Finance.
