We’re looking for someone who has built and operated production-grade search and database systems, understands distributed systems tradeoffs, and is comfortable owning complex data infrastructure end to end. We want you to shine by showing us real systems you’ve designed, clusters you’ve scaled, search architectures you’ve improved, and performance problems you’ve solved. Who you are:
You are a pragmatic database engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working on systems that operate at scale in the real world.
You have significant experience designing, tuning, and operating Elasticsearch clusters in production, including large datasets, high ingest rates, and low-latency search requirements. You understand shard allocation, index lifecycle management, query optimization, cluster scaling, replication, and performance tuning. You also have strong experience with relational databases like Postgres or MySQL, including schema design, indexing strategies, query planning, and operational best practices.

About the role:

The Paid Advertising Senior Performance Analyst is responsible for owning the execution, performance, and growth of their marketing service within their book of business. Role Summary
Senior Analyst role is expected to support the broader analytics team in measuring and validating the effectiveness of paid media for channels including but not limited to, Linear TV, OTT, Social Activation, and Programmatic Activation, Audio, and OOH The Senior Analyst is expected to demonstrate the following skills/experience: strong grasp of experimental design, specifically covering A/B testing for Brand Impact (brand lift studies) and performance (conversion lift studies). Strong ability to design, customize, and maintain platforms for contract management, business intelligence, and user access. Excellent oral and written communication skills, client focus and the ability to support and enable teamwork, self-motivated and able to operate independently with limited guidance and direction.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-focused area such as Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics; a related field or equivalent professional work experience is
required.
• 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience in analytics.
• Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills.
• Advanced Google Sheets skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, building charts and graphs, etc.
• An understanding of Python and/or SQL (especially BigQuery/GCP) is helpful but not required.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI is a niceto-have.
• A background in statistical modeling (e.g., linear regression) is highly preferred.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and other web analytics tools is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of media ad servers such as Google Campaign Manager or Meta CAPI would be preferred.

OVERVIEW:
Building on your foundational experience, the Senior Associate role recognizes your growth into a reliable core performer on our Activation Team. In this role, you will be responsible for data quality, reporting (weekly, monthly in channel observations & insights), dashboarding & visualization, research and testing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Collect data & reporting requirements under the guidance of the Client Activation Lead and in partnership with Client Analytics to understand the measurement framework & learning agenda, the most critical metrics to implement for database build and business logic for data stitching.
· Support the defining of the taxonomy for the activation team to implement to ease data retrieval, and lead QA to ensure data accuracy.
· Manage the retrieving, compiling, and formatting of large volumes of data either through formal database solutions, data visualization, and programming.
· Assist in the set-up of the clients’ environment to ensure proper data connectivity
· Assist in the build and development of custom databases on the reporting platform.
· Assist in the strategy and development of the data visualization layer of the business intelligence platforms for insight generation for use in campaign monitoring and optimization.
· Help the development of automated QA processes to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
· Communicate technical terms to non-technical people and help them understand why change might be required to achieve a specific goal or to complete a project.
WHAT YOU BRING
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field. OR equivalent professional work experience.
· 1 – 3 years hands on experience in data management, data visualization and data analytics preferably in a marketing and/or media agency.
· Experience with digital data from ad serving platforms (e.g. Google Campaign Manager, Other adservers), campaign planning tools (e.g. Prisma, Lumina, MediaOcean), website analytics software (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), paid search engine marketing data sources (e.g. Adwords, Marin, …) and others is strongly preferred.
· Ability to reliably execute tasks with autonomy, while keeping team members informed of progress and challenges.
· Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of mathematical concepts and their application to campaign performance.

Job Summary:
· Senior Associates, Business Intelligence are excellent problem solvers and play a critical role working alongside their analytics and media peers. In this role, you will help to improve marketing efficiency and support all data management and reporting deliverables.
· You will serve as a core partner to local Business Intelligence teams, leading development of reporting deliverables throughout the year.
Responsibilities
· Facilitate media performance reporting through the extraction of data sets from multiple marketing/database platforms and perform hygiene and quality control steps, either via BI tools like Power BI, Datorama or in partnership with WPP Media Data Ops. Data sources may include: media platforms (digital, search, social), web analytics tools, 1P sales data, syndicated data, research & survey tools, etc…
· Assist with implementation and management of data system architecture
· Audit and manage data taxonomy/classifications from multiple systems and partners
· Manage the extraction, loading, and transformation of multiple data sets
· Create and manage data visualizations, including dashboard, scorecard, and report deliverables
· Cleanse all data and metrics; perform override updates where necessary
· Execute all business rules according to requirements
· Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency throughout the process
· Manage and execute thorough QA process and ensure quality and accuracy of all data and reporting deliverables
· Manipulate and analyze “big” data sets synthesized from a variety of sources, including media platforms and marketing automation tools
· Generate and manage data visualizations and ensure data is presented accurately and is visually pleasing
· Assist local team in creating campaign performance reports as needed
· Help maintain a performance platform and provide insights and ongoing recommendations around media optimization
Desired Skills and Experience
· 2+ years’ experience in an analytics position working with large amounts of data
· Hands-on experience working with Power BI for data visualization
· Additional desirable skills include tag management experience, application coding experience, etc..
· Digital media experience background preferred, including knowledge of Google Campaign Manager, digital and social Media platforms and web analytics tools
· Experience with SQL.
· Excellent communication skills; especially as it pertains to working as part of an offshore team
· Experience working with on-shore teams a plus
