Position Summary

The Enterprise Tech Administrator I – End User Support is responsible for delivering high‑quality technical assistance to employees across the organization. This role ensures smooth operation of end‑user systems, resolves technical incidents, installs and configures hardware/software, and supports enterprise platforms in accordance with IT policies and service-level standards. The individual will work closely with global IT teams to enhance user experience and maintain a secure, compliant, and productive technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

End User Support

• Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, macOS (optional), productivity tools, VPN, network connectivity, and enterprise applications.
• Respond to incidents and service requests via ITSM tools within defined SLAs.
• Assist users with onboarding and offboarding processes, including system setup and access provisioning.

Hardware & Software Management

• Install, configure, and maintain end‑user devices (laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, etc.).
• Manage software installations, upgrades, and license compliance.
• Support imaging, deployment, and patching processes using enterprise tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM, Autopilot).

Enterprise Systems & Security

• Assist with identity and access management using Azure AD/M365 tools.
• Maintain endpoint security standards (antivirus, encryption, policy compliance).
• Support enterprise collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive).

Network & VOIP Support

• Provide basic troubleshooting for wired/wireless networks, VPN, and firewall access requests.
• Support video conferencing systems, meeting room setups, and telephony/VoIP equipment.

Documentation & Process Compliance

• Maintain accurate records of issues, inventory, and resolutions in ITSM tools.
• Create and update knowledge base articles for users and IT peers.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and corporate procedures.

Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs, warranty claims.
• Support IT asset lifecycle management and inventory audits.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, ITIL Foundation (added advantage).

Professional Experience

• Minimum 1 – 3 years of Experience.

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 administration.
• Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and endpoint management tools.
• Experience with ITSM systems (ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, Remedy, etc.).
• Understanding of endpoint security tools and practices.

What you’ll do:

• Work seamlessly across functions—partnering with Data Scientists on model tuning, experimentation, and prompt design; collaborating with Product and Software Engineering to embed AI/ML into user-facing applications; engaging with DevOps/Platform Engineering on environment setup, CI/CD, monitoring, and reliability; and working with Data Engineering on pipeline design and ingestion strategies.
• Provide technical leadership in the effective use of AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, EMR, S3, Athena, Batch, Textract, Comprehend, Bedrock.
• Drive the implementation of project scope definition, effort estimation, and planning in close coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct code reviews, provide architectural direction, and champion SDLC best practices, while balancing leadership responsibilities with hands‑on technical contributions to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of overall professional experience delivering data-driven AI/ML-focused solutions. 3+ years of direct team management experience, leading Data Scientists, ML Engineers, or similar technical roles.
• Hands-on experience in Python with strong proficiency in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, and regular expressions. Advanced SQL querying and optimization for large datasets.
• Practical experience in training, tuning, and testing ML algorithms (e.g., SVM, CART, Bagging, Boosting) and text mining techniques; familiarity with modern ML/DL approaches.
• Experience with prompt engineering and leveraging GenAI for classification, data enrichment, semantic embeddings, and innovative AI-driven solutions.
• Experiment and rapidly prototype design frameworks, validate hypotheses efficiently, and iterate on AI/ML models to support fast-paced development.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and experience creating custom Python packages for serverless applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, EC2, EMR, S3, Athena, Batch, Textract, and Comprehend.
• Work seamlessly across Data Science, Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Data Engineering teams to align technical decisions with business goals, ensuring smooth integration of AI/ML capabilities into production systems
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of translating complex AI/ML concepts into clear, actionable insights for leadership, stakeholders, and non-technical partners.
• Ownership mindset with end‑to‑end accountability, ensuring delivery from concept to deployment to monitoring—while continuously identifying risks, blockers, and opportunities for improvement.

We’re looking for a senior-level automation engineer who will help raise the bar on release quality, environment reliability, and change safety across Cohere’s platform. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Platform, and SRE to build scalable automation, guardrails, and validation systems that reduce production risk while increasing delivery velocity.

This is not a “test scripts only” role. You’ll shape automation strategy, embed quality into the SDLC, and help define how changes move safely from dev → staging → UAT → prod in a fast-moving healthcare platform. 

You’ll help define how quality scales as Cohere grows. This role has real influence over release safety, platform reliability, and how engineering teams ship software in a regulated, high-impact domain. You won’t just test features — you’ll shape how Cohere delivers them safely to production.

What you’ll do:

• Own and evolve Cohere’s end-to-end test automation strategy across UI, API, config changes, and critical workflows
• Design and maintain scalable E2E automation frameworks for multi-tenant, payer-specific workflows
• Build automated validation for deployment guardrails, release readiness, and production change safety
• Partner with Platform/DevOps to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Create automated coverage for high-risk paths (authorization flows, partner integrations, file pipelines, feature flags, config changes)
• Drive test reliability, flake reduction, and actionable failure signals
• Define and enforce quality gates for prod releases, blue/green and canary deployments, and config changes

This role reports to the Global Head of Operations, Analytics and AI, with a dotted line to the Hyderabad-based People Partner.

What You'll Do

90% People Operations 

• As part of a global people operations team, you are responsible for managing the operations of the entire employee lifecycle for employees predominately for employees in India, and to include global workstreams such as support to offers and employment agreements. 
• Acting in a customer facing role providing employee support and services on policies and processes as well as helping them get in touch with the right people 
• Manage the AskHR@Redpin inbox, prioritising the employee experience and adhering to SLA’s in place – escalating when required.
• Generate employment documentation including offer letters, employment contracts, promotion letters, termination documents, probation letters, and more.
• Work on projects to automate manual processes and increase efficiencies such as standardizing and automating employee documentation including offer letters, employment contracts, promotion letters, termination documents and more on a globally consistent basis. 
• Benefits – managing benefits portfolio and providing BAU support but also driving vendor management efforts, renewal processes, and review of benefit offerings to drive engagement and talent acquisition.  
• Support with benefits administration and management including providing day to day support to employees on our offerings including new joiner enrolment and offboarding terminations. 
• Partner with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including employee data updates.
• India Immigration - owning the policies and the relationship between 3rd party immigration vendor and employees to ensure an effective and smooth experience 
• Continuous process and policy improvement driven by data, usage results and feedback.
• Close collaboration within the global People Operations Team on company-wide people initiatives such as performance processes, system implementations, compliance projects, or organizational changes.

10% Workplace and Culture Partner

• Attending all general day-to-day office admin, building maintenance requirements and access procedures for new staff.

• Liaise with India People Partner, IT department with all office-related requests.
• Manage all office related supplier relationships, printers, coffee machines, water deliveries, food & beverages orders etc.
• Liaise with building management and maintenance teams regarding cleaning, security, visitor access, parking, and general facilities upkeep.
• Assist with planning and coordinating workplace events including the monthly townhall events as well as staff gatherings and celebrations.

What You’ll Need

• At least 9 years of experience in a People Operations in a similar role, managing the day-to-day employee lifecycle for India, with other global locations (EMEA, APAC, Australia, US) is a must. 
• HR shared services - Relevant experience includes supporting employees on Tier 1 and Tier 2 HR support, engaging with employees on both inbound and outboard direct employee support, generating employee documentation, supporting onboarding and offboarding administrative tasks, and more  
• Successful track record of redesigning and improving processes using workflow mappings and tooling to automate! 
• Working knowledge of India employment legislation and HR Compliance requirements. Experience of international employment law in EMEA, UK & Australia would be desirable 
• Must have had full ownership of data processing of all People input such as new joiners, data changes, leavers, and absence management (such as parental, maternity and other leaves) onto relevant People systems, ensuring 100% accuracy for payroll processing.
