I'm Alexei — I build and run JobsRadar. I've spent 10+ years as a software engineer, most of it as a senior and lead developer on data-heavy web platforms, and I've been an open-source contributor since 2017. JobsRadar isn't a faceless "career platform" — it's built and maintained by one engineer who got tired of paywalled, ghost-listing job boards.
The parts of a job board that actually matter are the ones you never see: pulling listings straight from companies' official career pages, keeping the data fresh several times a day, normalizing roles, salaries and locations so search works, and running classifiers that verify things like genuinely worldwide-remote roles. That's squarely the work I've done professionally for years — leading backend teams, designing databases, and shipping on AWS.
Along the way I've worked on emergency-services automation used across countries, an information-security SaaS product, and an analytics platform sitting on a multi-petabyte PostgreSQL database — plus a lot of embedded C/C++ on ESP32 for fun. I'm currently a PhD researcher in Computer Science, working on software automation.
