Your future role within QRT 

This contract position will play a key role in the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of QRT’s APAC Audio Visual (AV) systems. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the AV Engineer will ensure seamless video conferencing, presentation, and meeting room experiences across our APAC offices. ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hybrid role supporting two teams: Technical Services and Support. Key responsibilities include delivering Disguise projects, providing on-site technical support, and managing support cases day-to-day when not in the field.

The Technical Services Engineer requires an in-depth understanding of various Disguise workflows, including Projection, OmniCal, SockPuppet, DMX, SLC, Notch, and RenderStream. This role also requires being a certified trainer, delivering official Disguise training courses as well as bespoke sessions customised to customer needs. The company will provide all necessary training to ensure your success in the role.

This individual will collaborate with various Disguise teams—including Sales Managers, Solution Design Specialists, Support Specialists, Software Developers, and Hardware Technicians—as well as third-party vendors and, most importantly, the customer. You will ensure that both in-house and visiting projects are delivered successfully, with minimal disruption, while consistently exceeding expectations. As a Technical Services Engineer, you are highly experienced in managing both internal and external stakeholders.

The Technical Services Engineer must be based in the APAC region (ideally in Seoul, South Korea or Hong Kong). You will be required to travel in response to global project demand. Both domestic and international travel is required (approximately once a month), sometimes at short notice. On-site deployments typically last 1–2 weeks per project.

This person will play a pivotal role at Disguise as the gateway between our technology, the customer and their audience's visual experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Technical Services:
• Travel to client sites (domestic and international) to verify that onsite physical integration aligns perfectly with the original engineering designs.
• Commission systems capture all necessary information and produce a handover document. 
• Provide workflow guidance, best practices, and help clients to build their own show projects. 
• Deliver the relevant training as required.
• Ensure proper project handoff to other Disguise teams such as Customer Success and Support, to ensure a smooth transition to day-to-day account management.
• Travel to sites to address firefighting situations, working closely with developers and other team members.

As Nex’s Senior Embedded Software / AOSP Engineer, you bring Nex Playground to life. Your OS and firmware run on millions of devices, turning family living rooms into playgrounds where body motion, software, and on-device AI come together as one experience. About the Position

We are looking to hire a talented engineer to help run our internal Windows infrastructure. We are open to applicants with strong experience in areas such as infrastructure, applications, automation, and server or desktop operating systems in Windows environments.     

Windows is our primary desktop operating system, and many of our core infrastructure services are provided by Windows servers. Having these systems work correctly is key to meeting our business needs for performance and reliability.

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Engineer who can help our team keep Jane Street’s data safe and accessible around the clock, which will involve a mix of hands-on work in our data and colocation centres, process thinking and project management. 

Your work will mostly involve designing, building, scaling and performing daily upkeep in our regional data and colocation centres. You’ll also get to collaborate with really talented people from all different areas of expertise across Jane Street to optimise our data environments and prevent major problems before they happen. 

You will join an interdisciplinary team made up of several groups across Jane Street, including our Network, Server, Facilities Engineering, Market Data and Trading teams, along with some external data centre operators, colocation and smart hands service providers, and cabling, hardware and telco vendors. • Design plans for new equipment deployments using data centre best practices
• Coordinate logistical tasks across locations, including procurement, shipping, moving and keeping inventory of our equipment, cabling and parts
• Install and configure server OS in a PXE environment (fundamental Linux knowledge is required to deploy our network equipment)

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced evening shift Move-Add-Change (MAC) Engineer to help our IT Operations team make seamless improvements to our desktop trading floor landscapes. This is a full-time role for evening hours only. 

Technology is central to our firm, and you’ll help us find ways to provide technology support and execute infrastructure projects without disrupting our daily work or trading. Doing this correctly will involve using automated tooling to ensure efficiency and maximising evening work hours to fit around the constraints of our business. It will also require you to be familiar with the different types of technology on the trading floor and interested in how they fit into the larger operations of our firm. 

In this hands-on role, you’ll work to deliver several types of requests, including PC setups and deployments for end users, asset management, procurement, user onboarding, desktop technology relocation and infrastructure expansion projects. You will participate in the development and rollout of new technology to our end users, and have the opportunity to develop both your technical acumen and project management experience. You will also work closely with vendors and service providers to ensure the quality of service they're providing matches our world-class expectations.

We will train you as if you’re joining our full-time team of IT Operations Engineers who are responsible for the support, configuration and operation of multiple systems across all of our technology stacks, including desktop engineering, network and various application platforms. You will help in a hands-on capacity as we make improvements to our office environment. This can include: responding to technology support requests, building and configuring Windows and Linux devices, supporting our Windows domain infrastructure, monitoring and supporting systems and helping with projects to optimize the way we work using tools like PowerShell.

Our IT interns are friendly and collaborative problem-solvers who enjoy helping people. About the Position

• Building and improving high-performance data pipelines and processing systems
• Collaborating with quantitative researchers to develop tools that support research workflows
• Optimizing system performance through profiling, debugging, and architectural improvements
• Building shared tools and infrastructure that power research efficiency and shorten iteration cycles
• Bridging the gap between research prototypes and production-grade systems

• Solid foundation in C++ and Python programming
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, memory management, operating systems, compilers, computer architecture, and networking
• Interest in systems programming and understanding how software interacts with hardware (OS internals, process scheduling, I/O, caching)
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment
• Passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code; comfortable contributing to collaborative codebases
• Ability to translate research requirements into robust software solutions
• Strong learning ability and intellectual curiosity
• Good communication skills with users and other stakeholders
• Reliable and predictable availability
• No finance or economics study or work experience required

• Curiosity for data-driven approaches and ability to work with large-scale data from first principles, not just relying on libraries
• Experience with performance optimization or low-latency systems
• Familiarity with HPC or distributed computing
• Exposure to data analysis tools (Pandas, NumPy) or statistical methods
