About the Role

We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our internal Data Management team and help power data-driven decision-making across the organization. Backblaze is seeking a detail-oriented, systems-minded Production Capacity Analyst to support the planning, deployment, and management of infrastructure capacity across our global cloud storage platform.

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and reliable capacity data, supporting forecasting and hardware planning, and improving visibility into system utilization, growth, and cost drivers. You will work closely with Capacity Planning, Production Engineering, Data Center Operations, and Finance teams to ensure infrastructure growth is well understood, well coordinated, and aligned with business demand and development roadmaps.

This is a collaborative, execution-focused role within Cloud Operations, contributing to service reliability and performance, cost efficiency, and operational readiness using high-quality data, thoughtful analysis, and consistent execution.

What You’ll Do

• Collect, reconcile, organize, and analyze data across storage, compute, and network systems to support capacity planning and operational decision making
• Contribute to short and mid-term cluster and data center capacity forecasts by maintaining datasets, validating assumptions, identifying trends, and improving model logic
• Coordinate hardware and site deployment readiness across production environments, including tracking deployments, managing open orders, and effecting internal asset movements to maintain balanced capacity availability
• Maintain and improve reporting on resource utilization, growth results and trajectories, and capacity constraints and risk, ensuring data is accurate, concise, and actionable
• Monitor key capacity metrics and dashboards to proactively identify anomalies, constraints, risks, and visibility issues
• Support Compliance, Security, audit, and reporting efforts related to capacity planning and infrastructure operations by scoping requirements, organizing data and tracking execution

• Partner with Capacity Engineering, SRE, and Systems Engineering to ensure capacity data reflects real system behavior and operational conditions

Right Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 2 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, infrastructure operations, capacity planning, infrastructure or production engineering, or a similarly technical role
• Experience working with structured data sets at moderate to large scale using modern database and data analysis tools, preferably SQL, Python, Snowflake, Metabase, Excel, Google Sheets, or similar languages and tools

ABOUT THE ROLE

Build out  a cloud‑native team that owns the entire software delivery life cycle on Amazon Web Services. You will combine deep Kubernetes expertise with Python and shell scripting to automate, monitor, and continuously improve the Linqia platform while driving FinOps practices to keep our cloud footprint efficient. Work in a GitOps culture where every change is delivered through pull requests and rolled out by automated pipelines.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design, maintain, and evolve our AWS account structure, VPC networking, IAM policies, security boundaries, and cost‑management controls using Terraform and the AWS console
• Maintain secure networking layers with AWS load balancers, ingress controllers, service‑mesh policies, network policies, and zero‑trust principles
• Operate and harden production‑grade Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS, including upgrades, service mesh, policy management, and multi‑cluster architectures driven by Argo CD

About The Role

Konrad Group is looking to hire full-time Senior Quality Assurance Engineers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interacting with project stakeholders to understand project requirements, create documentation, and lead and execute QA processes. The Senior QA Engineer will create Test Plans and execute them in accordance with the SDLC while performing rigorous testing to ensure overall project success.

What You'll Do

Carry out a variety of test requirements on a project-by-project basis, including:

• Manual functional and behavioral testing.
• Device, operating system, and browser support testing.
• User experience testing.
• Front-end test automation with Selenium Java, Cypress, Robot Framework with Python or Playwright.
• Mobile automation experience using Appium with Java.
• Create and maintain automation test scripts for different frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Performance, penetration/security, regression, smoke testing, etc.
• Working knowledge of automation tools for preceding testing types above is also a mustCreate informative and thorough defects in JIRA, Azure DevOps and verify defect fixesWork creating and maintaining CI/CD for automation tests using tools such as GitHub Actions, Gitlab Jobs, Jenkins among others. 
• Interact with Project Management and Development teams to understand test schedules and deadlines.
• Create project health reports and keep stakeholders informed on overall project health.
• Triage and escalate issues based on severity and significance to the project.
• Confirm consistency in experience across multiple browsers and devices.

Qualifications

General QA Skills

• Bachelor Degree in Software Development or similar
• 4+ years of experience in QA roles
• 1+ years of experience in Automation QA jobs
• Technical certifications is a plus
• Knowledge of Windows, OS X, iOS and Android operating systems
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal, are required
• Deep knowledge of industry standard testing practices and processes
• Ability to triage and prioritize defects effectively
• Proficiency with all standard browsers and operating systems, desktop and mobile

Working knowledge and proficiency or ability to work with Konrad Group's technology stack:

• JIRA for SDLC management
• GIT for version control
• Experience with enterprise level test management software such as Zephyr or TestRail
• Knowledge of how to build for Android, iOS, or web from repository a big plus

About the Role

We are seeking an Application Security Engineer to improve application security across the software used to enable Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage and Computer Backup. The primary role is to build security into how the product is used, how data is stored and how customers can use it. This role will require development skills and application security knowledge to build security into the product and new features. Leveraging AI is key. 

This is a hands-on role that requires application development knowledge. This role is expected to know and use the latest AI to help with both development and security. The primary requirements include; development in common web languages, application security and AI tool usage.

• Leverage AI tools and software for
• Building new and maintaining existing software security features
• Meeting evolving software security needs in existing software
• Developing new components as needed
• Perform security assessments and code reviews on internal and external customer-facing applications
• Work closely with engineers to remediate security vulnerabilities using AI tools
