The Creative Manager plays a key role in bringing the Hawthorne brand to life across our portfolio. This position leads the planning, coordination, and execution of creative and marketing projects while also contributing directly to design and content development.

Creative Manager |  Job Functions 

Creative Development & Design  

• Act as creative design lead for marketing graphics and illustrations  

• Execute design work across a variety of formats, including:

Creative Asset & System Management 

• Manage and maintain internal creative asset management systems, ensuring all assets are organized, accessible, and up to date 

• Establish and enforce standards for file naming, version control, and asset organization 

• Oversee the lifecycle of creative assets, ensuring teams are using the most current, approved materials 

• Partner with teams to streamline asset access and improve efficiency across marketing and on-site teams 

Collaborate Cross-Functionally 

• Collaborate with leadership to align creative initiatives with broader marketing and brand strategy 

• Partner with Corporate and Community Teams to meet creative goals while maintaining brand consistency

The Water Marshall / Mechanical LOTO Manager is a specialist safety and commissioning role responsible for managing the controlled charge and discharge of energy across all fluid and pressure systems on site. Based in Montgomery, Alabama, this individual forms a key part of the commissioning team, working alongside all persons involved in a safe system of work and reporting directly to the Commissioning Project Superintendent. The successful candidate will bring strong mechanical systems knowledge, a rigorous approach to safety and isolation, and proven experience managing LOTO procedures in a complex, mission-critical construction or commissioning environment.

Responsibilities:

Documentation

• Review and approve all Methods of Procedure (MOPs) prior to the commencement of any fluid or pressure-related activities.
• Review and approve Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) to ensure all risks are identified and appropriately mitigated.
• Review flush plans, pressurisation procedures, and all other relevant documentation to verify compliance with project and safety standards.

Safety & Isolation

• Lead and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures across all fluid and pressure systems on site, including domestic and process water, hydronic systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and oils, refrigerants, and other pressurised media.
• Verify physical isolation of all systems before any pressurisation or testing activities are carried out.
• Ensure all isolation activities are performed in accordance with applicable safety standards, project specifications, and client requirements.

System Testing & Commissioning Support

• Review and manage pipe flushing and cleanliness plans, chemical cleaning activities, and hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing programmes.
• Ensure all systems are safe, fully compliant, and verified as ready prior to the introduction of fluids or pressure.
• Support the safe startup and commissioning of mechanical systems including chillers, dry coolers, CRAH/CRAC water systems, and hydronic distribution networks.

Compliance & Environmental Controls

• Ensure all water usage, discharge, and drainage activities meet applicable environmental regulations and comply with project specifications and client standards.
• Prevent uncontrolled releases of fluids or pressure that could damage equipment or disrupt site operations.

Coordination & Site Interface

• Coordinate daily activities with mechanical contractors, commissioning agents, and owner and client safety teams.
• Act as a central point of control for the managed charge and discharge of energy across all relevant systems on site.
• Collaborate with all persons involved in a safe system of work, ensuring consistent application of isolation and safety procedures across the project team.
• Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.

Skills Required:

• Minimum 10 years' experience in a Water Marshal, Mechanical LOTO, or equivalent isolation management role on large-scale construction or commissioning projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe systems of work for fluid and pressure systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems including hydronic networks, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, chillers, and refrigerant systems.
• Experience reviewing and approving MOPs, JHAs, flush plans, and pressurisation procedures.
• Solid knowledge of hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing processes and pipe flushing and cleanliness requirements.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations governing water usage, discharge, and drainage on construction sites.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across contractors, commissioning teams, and client safety personnel.
• Rigorous attention to detail with a safety-first mindset and a zero-compromise approach to isolation and compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical construction environment and make clear, confident decisions under pressure.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.

ABOUT THE JOB

As an Electrical Engineering Manager, you will lead the design and development of safety-critical circuitry for Ignition Safety Devices (ISD) and Electronic Safe and Arm Devices (ESAD). You will be responsible for specifying and testing ISDs and ESADs, including environmental testing. In addition to your technical tasks, you will provide leadership to ISD and ESAD programs throughout their lifecycle, from concept to production. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with the development of ISDs, ESADs, and related devices, deep technical understanding of their design and production, and excellent management skills. As the Program Manager - C2 Deployment for the IBCS-M program, you will serve as deputy program manager with primary focus on deployment planning, execution, and event/exercise support. This role is designed for a strong operator with C2 and CUAS technical depth who can translate program objectives into successful field operations and soldier feedback into actionable product requirements.

You will serve as the connective tissue between software engineering, program leadership, and operational fielding—ensuring our C2 software capabilities deploy on time, perform to specification, and exceed customer expectations across U.S. Army and allied partner nations.. You will own the deployment lifecycle from planning through sustainment, lead support for critical exercises and demonstrations, and serve as the voice of the end-user within program decisions.

This role requires someone who can think both strategically and tactically: comfortable developing deployment frameworks and briefing leadership one day, then troubleshooting software integration issues with soldiers at a customer site the next. You will build repeatable deployment processes, manage cross-functional coordination, translate warfighter feedback into engineering priorities, and ensure our program maintains operational credibility with Army stakeholders.

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of IBCS-M deployments from site surveys through operational handoff for both U.S. and FMS customers

• 5+ years of experience in deployment operations, C2 systems, CUAS programs, or defense technical operations
• Proven C2 system knowledge including command and control architectures, networking, sensor-to-shooter integration, or fire control systems
• CUAS technical depth including counter-UAS concepts, radar/EO-IR sensors, engagement operations, and/or air defense systems
• Software system understanding with ability to troubleshoot integrations and translate user feedback into technical requirements

As a Sr. Program Quality Engineer, you will work inside and outside the organization to define and execute processes that deliver reliable products. • 3+ years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering, with a significant portion in a Program Quality or Supplier Quality role within the aerospace, defense, automotive, or other highly regulated hardware development and manufacturing industries.
• Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and implementing industry quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO9001) and customer-specific flow-down requirements.
• Strong proficiency in quality tools and methodologies including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA), Nonconformance management, FAI (AS9102), GD&T, Control Plans, and Inspection Plans.
• Experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) or equivalent qualification methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and contractual documents.

Partner with Application Engineering to shape client-specific solutions. Use collaborative platforms to streamline proposal creation and ensure seamless handoff from sale to execution.

3. Lead Project Management for Key Sales Wins 

For major deals, oversee execution timelines and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful implementation. Provide ongoing updates and manage client expectations proactively.

4. Launch Growth Initiatives 

Within 12 months, lead a strategic market expansion initiative—such as penetrating a new vertical, securing a major partnership, or running a promotional campaign. Track and report on ROI and impact.

5. Maximize Customer Retention and Satisfaction 

Monitor customer satisfaction through structured feedback loops. Rapidly resolve challenges using root cause analysis and proactive communication. Cultivate long-term relationships that generate referrals and renewals.

About You 

You’re a proven business development professional with 4+ years of success in technical sales. You’ve sold into manufacturing or automation environments and know how to speak the language of engineers and operations leaders. You’re self-directed, curious, and thrive in fast-paced environments where the path isn’t always laid out for you. 

You likely have: 

• A background in engineering or technical sales (degree preferred, but not required)

• Straightforward compensation. At Apera AI, we believe that transparency and fairness are key to building a thriving team. For this BDM role, we offer a competitive base salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 USD and OTE of $175,000 to $210,000 per year.

This range reflects the base and OTE for a highly qualified candidate.
