Creative Manager | Position Summary  

The Creative Manager plays a key role in bringing the Hawthorne brand to life across our portfolio. This position leads the planning, coordination, and execution of creative and marketing projects while also contributing directly to design and content development. 

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution—ensuring projects are delivered on time, on brand, and reflective of Hawthorne’s mission. From campaign concepts to community-level materials, this position ensures every detail is thoughtful, consistent, and impactful. 
 

Creative Manager |  Job Functions 

Creative Development & Design  

• Act as creative design lead for marketing graphics and illustrations  

• Execute design work across a variety of formats, including: 

• Digital campaigns 

• Social media content 

• Print collateral and signage 

• Email and promotional materials 

• Translate marketing and brand strategy into visually compelling, on-brand creative 

• Provide creative direction across projects, ensuring a cohesive visual and storytelling approach 

• Maintain consistency across all creative assets, ensuring alignment with Hawthorne’s brand standards 

• Serve as a brand guardian, ensuring all materials reflect Hawthorne’s voice, tone, and visual identity 

Project Management & Execution  

• Manage the full lifecycle of creative projects—from intake and briefing through final delivery 

• Develop and maintain project timelines, workflows, and deliverables 

• Ensure projects are completed on time, on brand, and aligned with marketing priorities 

• Review and approve creative deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, and brand alignment 

Creative Asset & System Management 

• Manage and maintain internal creative asset management systems, ensuring all assets are organized, accessible, and up to date 

• Establish and enforce standards for file naming, version control, and asset organization 

• Oversee the lifecycle of creative assets, ensuring teams are using the most current, approved materials 

• Partner with teams to streamline asset access and improve efficiency across marketing and on-site teams 

Collaborate Cross-Functionally 

• Collaborate with leadership to align creative initiatives with broader marketing and brand strategy 

• Partner with Corporate and Community Teams to meet creative goals while maintaining brand consistency

Required Qualifications: 

• 5+ years' experience in marketing or related fields 

• Experience in Adobe Suite, Figma 

• Experience in multifamily, real estate, or hospitality strongly preferred. 

• Experience in marketing, branding, or content creation 

• Strong written and visual communication skills 

• Strong self-management skills 

• Oversees timelines and proactively advances projects to ensure on-time completion 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel regularly

Customer Experience Solutions Specialist | Position Summary  

The Customer Experience Solutions Specialist (CX Solutions Specialist) plays a key role in shaping and executing the strategy for our core front-of-house technology platforms and CX programs. This position enhances the resident experience and improves operational efficiency across our communities. Leveraging expertise in multifamily technology, data-driven insights, and technical acumen, this role optimizes customer-facing platforms to deliver a superior, people-first resident journey. Additionally, this role helps shape Hawthorne’s voice of customer programs, CRM, survey strategies, and reputation management platforms. 
 

Customer Experience Solutions Specialist |  Job Functions 

Product Strategy 
 

• Develop and optimize Hawthorne’s key technology platforms to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. 

• Drive product enhancements by prioritizing business needs and staying up to date with the most current product updates and features.  

• Own the product roadmap for CX platforms, including prioritization, timelines, and feature rollout 

• Translate operational and customer needs into clear product requirements and enhancements 

• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system adoption across teams 

Customer Insights 

• Manage survey and reputation strategies and platforms to generate actionable CX insights. 
• Drive the collection, analysis, and sharing of customer insights to shape strategy and product development. 

• Monitor trends across feedback channels to proactively identify system gaps or friction points 

• Partner with teams to turn insights into actionable improvements within CX platforms 

Technical Expertise 

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for CX platforms (Knock, RentCafe, etc.) 

• Develop a deep understanding of our customer-facing platforms and technology ecosystem to ensure a holistic approach to customer experience. 

• Oversee system configuration, setup, and ongoing optimization 

• Troubleshoot, analyze and develop CX platforms to ensure optimal performance. 

• Lead, train, and participate in technology pilots that support our CX vision. 

• Respond to and troubleshoot requests submitted through the ticketing system, providing timely resolutions and support across customer experience platforms 

Data & Insights 

• Analyze and report on technology pilots, issues, and CX projects. 

• Oversee the setup and pilots of CX technologies.  

Collaboration: 

• Work closely with operations, digital marketing, software, and training departments to ensure the success of product operations. 

• Manage relationships with vendor partners, ensuring they meet the strategic goals and timelines. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required. 

• Experience: 5+ years in software, operations, or Multifamily services. 

• Analytical & Technical Proficiency: Skilled in data analysis, with technical knowledge of CX platforms and operational systems such as Yardi or Rent Cafe CRM to translate insights into strategic action.

Digital Marketing Specialist

Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a key role in managing Hawthorne’s digital presence across multiple platforms. This multi-faceted role supports the execution, optimization, and performance tracking of our online marketing efforts — including website management, search engine marketing (SEM), social media strategy, search engine optimization (SEO), and analytics reporting. This position works cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and external vendor partners to ensure a consistent, data-driven, and brand-aligned digital presence for all Hawthorne communities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Website & SEO Management
   1. Oversee community website content, performance, and updates to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and engagement.
   2. Implement on-page SEO best practices, including metadata, image optimization, and keyword integration.
   3. Collaborate with vendors (Resi, Engrain, etc.) to manage new launches, floor plan updates, and UX improvements.
   4. Audit and report on site performance metrics (speed, engagement, lead conversions) using GA4 and Looker Studio.
   5. Support the design and development of new property websites.
   6. Manage website domains, content, and photography; troubleshoot website and digital advertising issues
   7. Maintain and organize digital assets, including photography, videos, floor plans, and community content across all platforms.
   8. Coordinate with photography or videography vendors when updated or new media assets are required.
   9. Ensure all digital content follows accessibility guidelines and fair housing compliance best practices.
2. Ticket Box Management
   1. Include responsibilities for managing incoming requests through the ticket box.
   2. Encompass monitoring, prioritizing, and ensuring timely responses to all inquiries.
3. Search Engine Marketing (SEM) & Advertising
   1. Support setup, monitoring, and optimization of paid search and social campaigns (Google Ads, Display, YouTube).
   2. Review ad creative, copy, and budget pacing to ensure alignment with marketing goals and lead targets.
   3. Collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing and vendor partners to analyze campaign results and adjust strategy based on performance data.
4. Analytics & Reporting
   1. Prepare recurring digital performance reports and dashboards for leadership review.
   2. Track KPIs across channels, including website conversions, ad performance, SEO visibility, and review growth.
   3. Identify trends and present actionable insights to improve ROI and digital consistency.
   4. CRM Data Interpretation (Knock): Pull and analyze lead funnel metrics to identify trends by source, campaign, and property. Use these insights to recommend optimizations and combine CRM findings with website and advertising performance for comprehensive, full-funnel reporting that delivers actionable insights to leadership and operations.
   5. Monitor lead flow across digital channels and recommend conversion optimizations to improve lead quality and volume.
5. Cross-Department Collaboration
   1. Partner with Operations and Regional Managers to ensure local initiatives are represented online.
   2. Support new community launches and takeovers with timely digital activations.
   3. Maintain alignment with Hawthorne’s brand standards and digital strategy roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within multifamily or property management.
• Working knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, and website CMS platforms (RentCafe, Resi, WordPress).
• Proficient with Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, and/or similar related reporting tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and recommend optimizations.
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and written communication skills.
