PMC: Tax Director

PMC’s corporate team is creating a new role focused primarily on real estate activities.  The Tax Director will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. This position will report directly to PMC’s Senior Vice President Global Taxes, with significant interaction throughout the Company including Finance, Legal and core business leaders at PMC.    

As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture. This position can be based in our Los Angeles headquarters, or our offices in NYC or Miami.

The Tax Director will be a key contributor whose responsibilities include:

• You’ll advise our team on local and overseas real estate development and management tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant for managing taxes and cash flow from all real estate activities.
• You’ll give advice and help our organization with VAT, property taxes and transfer pricing implications for related party goods and services transactions.
• You’ll assist our team with navigating the changing and complex national and international tax environment related to offshore real estate income (NCTI fka GILTI) and management of operational tax risks.   
• You’ll lead a team of outsourced tax service providers in corporate tax compliance and administration.
• You’ll design and implement tax planning along with consultants, including accounting methods, entity structure and cost recovery initiatives.
• Ensure the Company complies with federal, state, city and foreign tax laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with all management teams and stay current with real estate best practices and changing tax laws.
• Provide support to finance and treasury department regarding other tax matters such as personal property tax, business tax license renewals, etc.

Requirements:

• You have at least 10 years of solid experience in problem solving and preparing/reviewing income taxes for real estate development and management businesses
• You must have solid U.S. tax knowledge.
• Knowledge of U.S. international tax is a plus.
• You have very good leadership, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• You are a team member who moves easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant details; one who anticipates stakeholder needs, develops and discusses potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realizes they are required.

Overview

A well capitalized and growth oriented financial institution in South Florida is expanding its Large Corporate Banking platform and is seeking a senior revenue producing Managing Director to help lead that effort.

This is a front office, production driven role focused on originating and managing relationships with large corporate clients requiring sophisticated credit and capital markets solutions. The institution is investing in balance sheet capacity and capital markets capabilities and is looking for a senior banker who can bring meaningful relationships and build a durable, repeatable revenue stream.

The role is designed for a senior relationship manager who operates at the $100M to $500M+ transaction level and is comfortable advising C suite executives on complex financing structures.

Role Focus

• Full Compliance Cycle: Leading the calculation, accounting, and technical review of federal and state direct taxes (corporate income tax, including federal estimated payments and state apportionment) and also support on the management of indirect taxes (sales & use tax, excise tax, and other transaction-based levies across multiple jurisdictions) compliance managed by local external advisors.
• Tax Filing and Payment Management: Owning the end-to-end calendar of tax filing deadlines and payment obligations across all federal, state, and local jurisdictions — including the timely review of estimated tax payments (Form 1120-W), coordination/submission of extension requests, and final returns. Maintaining a centralized compliance calendar to proactively manage due dates, avoid penalties, and ensure accurate payment amounts are reconciled against the general ledger, along with the support of local external advisors..
• High-Precision Financial Reporting: Preparing and reviewing footnote disclosures for Effective Tax Rate (ETR) reconciliation under ASC 740, as well as managing the movement and projection of deferred tax assets and liabilities, including valuation allowance assessments.
• Mastery of Ancillary Obligations: Guaranteeing the flawless delivery of complex filings such as the federal consolidated return (Form 1120), state and local income tax returns, information returns (Forms 5471, 8858, 8865), and FBAR/FATCA filings, ensuring that all reported data faithfully reflects the underlying accounting reality.
• Stakeholder and Audit Management: Acting as the focal point for federal and state tax examinations and audits (internal and external), defending the company's tax positions before the IRS and state revenue authorities, and maintaining the SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) control environment.
• Transfer Pricing Coordination: Managing Transfer Pricing workflows in partnership with external advisors, ensuring that intercompany operations comply with OECD guidelines and US Treasury regulations (IRC §482), including the preparation and maintenance of contemporaneous documentation.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for more than just technical knowledge; we need solid experience and a proven track record in high-rigor environments:

• Experience in Effective Tax Rate Reconciliation: You have directly managed the bridge between book and taxable income under ASC 740, knowing how to explain rate variances, assess uncertain tax positions (ASC 740-10 / FIN 48), and project deferred tax assets and liabilities for SEC-reporting or audited companies.
• Experience with Financial Institution Tax Compliance: Specific experience preparing and reviewing tax filings in a regulated financial services environment, including familiarity with bank-specific tax considerations (e.g., bad debt reserves, OID, original issue discount instruments) and information reporting obligations (Forms 1099, 1042, and FATCA/CRS).
• Background in Internal Controls (SOX): Practical experience designing, executing, and reviewing tax-related internal controls under a SOX framework, ensuring the end-to-end tax process is auditable, well-documented, and free of material weaknesses or significant deficiencies.
• Tax Project Management Capability: Experience coordinating transfer pricing studies, preparing or reviewing IRC §482 contemporaneous documentation, and interfacing with external law firms and Big Four advisors for strategic and time-sensitive deliveries.
• Education and Tools: A solid degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field — CPA licensure strongly preferred. Hands-on proficiency with tax compliance and provision software (e.g., Corptax, OneSource, or Bloomberg Tax) and the ability to leverage ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data tools to extract, reconcile, and analyze large volumes of tax-sensitive data.

The Problem and the Role

OpenFX is on a mission to move money as freely as data, unrestricted by time zones, banking hours, or legacy systems. We are building the infrastructure that will power the next generation of cross-border payment systems for institutions.

We are seeking a Developer Experience Lead, who will report to the head of Product Growth, to own the entire developer-facing surface of our platform, from documentation to integration support to API governance. We have built a world-class financial engine, but how external developers experience that engine has no owner. This role fills that gap.

This is a foundational role. You will be the first hire in this function. You will architect the documentation ecosystem from the ground up, define the processes that keep it accurate as the platform evolves, and directly support the clients who integrate with our APIs. Over time, you will shape how Developer Experience operates as a discipline at OpenFX, influencing product decisions, integration strategy, and the developer journey end-to-end.

You will set the bar higher than industry standards, building a knowledge system that turns complex FX liquidity and cross-border payment flows into a Hello World integration in under 15 minutes.

What You'll Actually Do & Own

• Drive API Product Adoption: You own API adoption as a measurable outcome. You instrument the funnel from API key activation to first API call to first transaction to expanded endpoint usage. You set the baseline, define the targets, and drive the cross-functional work to move the number. Every quarter, more developers are activated, more endpoints are used, and integrations go deeper. This is what you are accountable for, not pages shipped.
• Architect the Documentation System: Documentation is the primary adoption surface. You own the information architecture and the words. You design the taxonomy that scales from a simple Quickstart guide to complex Treasury Operations references. You determine how we version, layer, and present information so it does not collapse under its own weight as the platform grows. You build it on docs-as-code infrastructure that engineers can contribute to. You measure documentation by whether it moves adoption, not by completeness for its own sake.
• Own the OpenAPI Workflow: Your first technical priority is aligning the OpenAPI spec to production reality. Then you implement and enforce a contract-first governance model where the spec is treated as a product contract, not a generated afterthought. Spec linters run in CI as merge blockers. OpenAPI updates are part of engineering's Definition of Done. Breaking changes are detected automatically and routed through a defined deprecation process. You sit in Product and Engineering reviews as the First User: if an API is too hard to explain in writing, it is too hard to use, and you have the authority to push back before code ships.
• Drive Developer Advocacy: You are the external voice of OpenFX inside the developer community and the internal voice of the developer inside OpenFX. You write technical content that earns developer trust: deep-dive blog posts on idempotency under retries, sample apps that demonstrate real cross-border payment flows, integration pattern guides for PSP, neo-bank, and treasury use cases. You build feedback loops that turn integration friction into product changes. As volume justifies, you represent OpenFX at developer-focused events, conferences, and partner enablement sessions. You are the reason developers choose OpenFX over a competitor whose docs they could not understand.
• Own Integration Triage: You are the technical front door for client integration questions during US business hours. You triage whether each issue is a documentation gap, an API design problem, or a code bug. You fix documentation gaps directly and route the rest to engineering with structured context. You build the repeatable onboarding playbook that turns one-off Slack threads into a scalable process. You partner with GTM, who owns the client relationship; you own the developer experience surface that surfaces during integration.

What Success Looks Like

• API Product Adoption: You own the adoption funnel from API key activation to first API call to first transaction to expanded endpoint usage. You instrument it, set the baseline, define the target, and drive the cross-functional work to move the number. This is the metric you are accountable for.
• Time to First API Call: Drops from around 3 days to under 15 minutes within 90 days. You own the Quickstart, code snippets, and onboarding tutorials that make this speed possible, and you advocate for the product changes needed to remove the rest of the friction.
• Instructional support tickets: reduced 40% within 90 days, with 42% of onboarding support requests as the baseline.
• Spec drift: no spec drift incidents that reach production. The OpenAPI spec stays aligned to production as the platform evolves.
• V1 Developer Portal: a public API doc portal (References, Guides, Changelog, sample apps) is live, searchable, and built on docs-as-code infrastructure. 100% of public endpoints have accurate request and response examples.
• Developer advocacy presence: a published cadence of technical content (deep-dive guides, sample apps, integration patterns) that builds developer trust and drives inbound adoption. Establish the baseline, grow it quarterly.
• DX roadmap: a written plan for SDK strategy, portal evolution, adoption analytics, and Agent Experience foundations and expansion (CLI, MCP)

Requirements

• 5+ years owning a developer-facing API product or platform. B2B or infrastructure. You drove a measurable adoption outcome, not just shipped pages. You can point to the integration experience you built, the funnel you owned, and the metric you moved.
• Direct client integration work. You have sat on integration calls with B2B or institutional clients, diagnosed friction live, and fed it back into product changes (not just documentation updates). You know what breaks during real integrations, not what should break in theory.
• Product instinct for API design. You have opinions on endpoint design, parameter naming, authentication UX, error response formats, idempotency keys, and SDK ergonomics. You have opinions on these calls and get changes shipped before code hits production.
• Engineering fluency. You read code well enough to extract logic independently. You understand distributed system concepts (latency, rate limiting, idempotency, eventual consistency, async patterns). You can sit in a code review and have something useful to say.
• Contract-first governance experience. You have implemented or enforced OpenAPI workflows where the spec is treated as a product contract, not a generated artifact.
• Financial services or fintech context. You know the difference between authorized and settled. You have worked on payments, trading, or banking APIs.
• Agent Experience instinct. You have shipped or experimented with MCP servers, agent-native SDKs, llms.txt, evaluation suites for LLM-driven API consumption, or other agent-readable API patterns. You have a point of view on what Developer Experience looks like when AI agents are first-class consumers.

Preferred

• Interactive docs experience: code playgrounds, Try It Now, in-browser sandbox.
• Multimedia documentation skills: video tutorials, sequence diagrams, architecture diagrams that complement written documentation.
• Developer advocacy or DevRel experience: you have written technical content for an external developer audience, shipped sample apps, or represented a product at developer events.

This individual will play a key role in evaluating and executing a wide range of strategic and financial initiatives, including financing activities, investment opportunities, joint ventures, M&A, and other bespoke opportunities.

We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team!  The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Wholesale division with regards to the monthly financial forecast, annual budgeting process, month-end closure, and operational processes.  The main departments this position interfaces with are finance leadership, planning, sales, sourcing/production, design, and merchandising.

The Problem You’ll Solve

OpenFX can already move money cross-border. But without a world-class collections (Pay-In) layer, we’re missing the front door of the funds flow. Building this unlocks a new category of clients (global platforms, marketplaces, remitters, enterprises) and makes OpenFX materially stickier: once customers collect through us, their entire flow runs on our rails.

Most global businesses still collect money like it’s 2008: opening local bank accounts country-by-country, reconciling fragmented bank statements, and wiring funds back to HQ with delays, hidden fees, and constant operational breakage. If you have hundreds of thousands of customers across countries, “collections” becomes a full-time organisation, just to get paid and understand who paid you.

You'll build the product that fixes this. By owning Pay-Ins end-to-end, from local fiat rails and virtual accounts to fiat→stablecoin routing, to reconciliation that finance teams can close books with, you'll unlock a new category of customers (global platforms, marketplaces, remitters, enterprises) and make OpenFX the default operating system for their global treasury.

What you’ll own

You'll be the directly responsible individual for the Pay-Ins charter, from strategy through execution. Ownership isn't about shipping features, it's about delivering outcomes. This means:

Launch Pay-In v1 across priority rails

1. Enable customers to collect money in their local markets without opening local bank accounts.
2. Launch Pay-In collections through virtual accounts infrastructure on key fiat rails. e.g., ACH/Wire (USD), SEPA (EUR), SPEI (MXN), etc. and then expand.
3. Define what “live” means: onboarding, limits, payment references, exceptions, refunds/returns, SLAs, and support playbooks.
   
   

Smart Order Routing automation

1. Allow customers to programmatically route collected funds to any destination with zero manual intervention.
2. Design and build infrastructure that will be used by clients to decide  how funds received into virtual accounts can be converted and routed:
• fiat → stablecoin → on-chain wallet, and/or
• stablecoin → fiat rails for payouts
3. Own the product decisions and the integration path with the underlying virtual account + on/off-ramp infrastructure.
   
   

Payment tracking + reconciliation that scales globally

1. Build end-to-end observability for customers: who paid, when, in what currency, what fee/FX was applied, and where it settled.

12 months in, you’ll know you’re succeeding if:

• $5B+/month Pay-In volume processed across local rails (with a clear path to $20B/month next quarter).
• 6+ pay-in rails live and operational (e.g., ACH, Wire, SEPA, SPEI + 2 more), each with defined SLAs, monitoring, and incident playbooks.
• p95 latency <10 minutes for automated flows (fiat received → virtual account credited → routed to destination)
• 8–10 enterprise customers live, with 3+ doing >$1B+/month in collections through OpenFX infrastructure. 
• Onboarding time < 14 days for a standard Pay-In integration (from kickoff to first money collected), measured and improving.
• Auto-reconciliation rate ≥ 95% (payments matched without manual ops), with clear exception workflows for the remaining cases.

Your first 90 days (what you’ll do)

Month 1: Discover and choose the wedge

• You'll conduct 15-20 deep discovery sessions with clients/prospects (marketplaces, enterprises, remitters, payment processors). 
• You'll map the current state: how they collect, reconcile, repatriate funds, and where it breaks. Then you'll let the data, not the loudest voice, decide which rails and geographies to prioritize.
• You choose v1 rails based on demand, feasibility, and unit economics and you can defend that choice with numbers.

Month 2: Align & Plan

• Write a clear PRD and One Pager that articulates the Job to Be Done, Desired Outcomes, and SMART success metrics. Publish Pay-In API + workflow spec (payment references, webhooks, reconciliation model, exceptions)
• Define the fiat→stablecoin routing policy and the customer configuration surface.
• Bring Legal, Compliance, Ops, and Partnerships into the room during definition, and solve constraints before engineering starts coding.

Month 3-6: Build & Execute

• Rail #1 in development with an integration test plan and a launch readiness checklist.
• Ensure Ops is trained, FAQs are written, and support playbooks are documented before go-live.
• First lighthouse customer committed to a timeline (integration + go-live criteria).
• Weekly metrics review cadence established (latency, failure modes, reconciliation breaks, support volume).
• Begin expansion to Rails #2 and #3 based on customer feedback and pipeline demand.

We are seeking a Product Manager to own the client onboarding experience end-to-end and act as the architect of how global institutions, corporates, and high-growth companies become live, trading clients on the OpenFX platform. We have built a world-class financial engine. Now we need an onboarding experience that matches it.

This is a foundational role where you will own the onboarding ecosystem from the ground up: designing client journey flows by segment, enabling clients to reach "ready to trade" across every product and corridor, and directly influencing how quickly clients go from first touch to first transaction. OpenFX operates across multiple currency corridors and the roadmap is expanding aggressively. Every new corridor and product brings its own compliance requirements, document standards, and integration complexity. You will build the architecture that scales with that ambition rather than requiring a rebuild every time we expand.

What You'll Actually Do & Own

• Own the Onboarding Journey Architecture by Segment: Design and maintain the onboarding flows for every client type: direct institution, API developer, and channel partner. You define the stages, gates, required inputs, and handoff criteria, and own the segmentation logic that routes clients to the right flow based on product and corridor.
• Own Time-to-First-Transaction as the North Star: TTFT is your scorecard, measured per product and per corridor. You instrument where clients stall, identify where time is lost, and drive cross-functional work to remove it.
• Own the Compliance Data Collection Experience: You own the client-facing UX, data collection flows, and document submission experience that gets a client to the point where they have submitted everything needed. You work closely with the compliance team to ensure the experience is built around their requirements.
• Own Multi-Product Onboarding Across the Full OpenFX Suite: Every product OpenFX ships, a client onboards through your product. You own the conditional journey logic, gate criteria, and milestones that define "onboarded" for each product line.
• Own the Onboarding Communication Layer: You own the lifecycle communication system that keeps clients moving toward first trade: automated nudges, an in-product progress checklist, and specific guidance tailored to each requirement in the journey.
• Own ongoing onboarding discovery: Maintain a regular cadence of client interviews, data analysis, and hypothesis testing that continuously identifies friction points and validates interventions. The 30-day audit is the starting point, not the finish line.

What Success Looks Like

• Time to First Trade: You own TTFT as a metric across every inbound channel and client segment. You instrument the funnel, set the baseline, define the target, and drive the cross-functional work to move the number.
• Onboarding Completion Rate: 80% of accounts created reach first trade. You own the funnel from account creation to that moment and are accountable for the drop-off between them.
• Self-Serve Completion Rate: You establish what percentage of clients can complete onboarding without manual intervention, set the baseline, and improve it every quarter.
• First-Time Pass Rate: You increase the share of clients who clear compliance checks on the first submission without rework, escalation, or manual intervention, by building a data collection experience that sets clients up to succeed before they submit.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of Product Management experience: You have owned an onboarding or activation funnel for a B2B or institutional product and can point to the drop-off you identified, the intervention you built, and the number that moved.
• Compliance and Institutional Client Fluency: You have a working understanding of AML, KYC, and KYB requirements for institutional clients and can translate them into product decisions in close collaboration with a compliance team. You are familiar with corporate entity structures, UBO documentation, and sanctions screening, and have worked on products where these were central to the experience.
• Global Product Experience: You have worked on a product that operates across multiple countries with distinct regulatory requirements. You understand the architectural implications of multi-jurisdiction compliance and have made product decisions shaped by that complexity.

Responsibilities & Expectations

Pre-Sale & RFP Support

• Support the Business Development team by owning documentation collection and RFP response coordination for enterprise prospects.
• Build and maintain a living library of standard RFP components (company overview, security/compliance documentation, technical architecture summaries, case studies, SLA commitments) that enables assembly of a complete RFP response within 5 business days.

Pre-Activation & Onboarding Ownership

• Own the full pre-activation lifecycle for each assigned enterprise client, including internal system setup, comprehensive stakeholder mapping (decision-makers, influencers, technical contacts, finance/treasury counterparts), and documented engagement plans.
• Coordinate proactively with Compliance, Operations, and Product to clear onboarding blockers before they impact the client timeline.

Trading Relationship Management

• Grow total payment volume (TPV) across assigned enterprise accounts by expanding into new currency corridors, increasing transaction frequency, and migrating additional cross-border payment flows onto the OpenFX platform.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional clients' day-to-day FX trading needs.
• Monitor client trading patterns, volumes, and pricing to ensure optimal execution.
• Work with trading teams to understand their workflows and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Implement a structured account health monitoring cadence, including monthly executive check-ins, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and a documented escalation protocol.
• Establish direct working relationships with senior stakeholders (VP+ or equivalent) within each assigned enterprise account.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in account management, client success, or relationship management with high-value institutional or enterprise clients.
• Strong operator mentality — adapts quickly across strategic planning, onboarding coordination, RFP assembly, and day-to-day issue resolution.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder client relationships.
• Metrics-driven approach with the ability to tie daily activities to TPV growth outcomes.
• Strong communication skills — able to translate technical complexity into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience working with PDE, Ops, and Compliance teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with FX trading platforms or financial technology products.
• Understanding of API integrations and trading system workflows.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for FX trading.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Trade & Treasury Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for maintaining operational excellence by ensuring the smooth execution of trades, managing daily liquidity, and maintaining the overall integrity of our trading and treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade Operations Management:
  • Process and execute trades, including order entry, modification, and cancellation.
  • Reconcile trade data between different systems, investigating and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date trade data and generate required reports.
• Treasury & Cash Management:
  • Manage daily cash positions and liquidity across multiple currencies and accounts.
  • Develop and implement cash forecasting models to optimize working capital.
  • Oversee bank relationships and manage short-term investment and borrowing activities.
• Risk & Compliance:
  • Assist in monitoring market risk and implementing risk mitigation strategies, including currency risk management.
  • Ensure all trade and treasury activities adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Policy & System Development:
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for treasury management and trade operations.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on financial planning and provide support for trading and treasury management systems.

What we are looking for

Must-haves:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in trade operations, treasury management, or related roles in the financial services industry.
• In-depth understanding of financial markets, trading concepts, and treasury operations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with treasury management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
