The Multi Geo / Multi Cloud Application Architect at OpenFX owns the design and integrity of a payments and FX platform that must operate across multiple geographic regions and cloud environments without compromising on availability, data sovereignty, latency, or regulatory compliance. This is not a role that designs architecture in the abstract. You are responsible for decisions that determine whether a settlement clears in London during an AWS eu-west-1 degradation, whether a client in the UAE can transact without their data leaving the region, and whether OpenFX can migrate between cloud providers without a full platform rewrite.
Cross-border payments and FX are inherently distributed problems. Transactions originate in one jurisdiction, clear through correspondent networks in another, and settle in a third. The infrastructure that supports this must match that complexity with equivalent architectural rigour. You are the person who ensures it does.
You operate at the intersection of distributed systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, and financial regulatory compliance. You work closely with the Principal Architect, Platform team, pod-level Tech Leads, and the Security and Compliance functions to define standards, validate designs, and resolve the hardest architectural trade-offs the organisation faces.

About OpenFX
OpenFX is revolutionizing cross-border money movement, connecting traditional banking systems with digital-native infrastructure, using stablecoins as an intermediary settlement rail to enable near-instant FX conversion and cross-border settlement. In under two years, we’ve raised over $100M in capital and grown from $0 to over $40B in annualized volume, with teams across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Legal Counsel based in Bangalore who will be a key partner to the business as OpenFX builds out its India presence and continues to scale globally. India is one of OpenFX’s most important markets and home to a hub of approximately 80 employees across product, engineering, compliance, and operations. The role spans three core areas:
The work sits at the intersection of cross-border payments, crypto, and technology, and ranges from novel regulatory questions to complex commercial contracts and general corporate matters. The ideal candidate is a team player energized by a high-growth environment and translating complex legal requirements and ambiguity into clear, actionable guidance for the business. You move quickly with sound judgment, excel as a trusted advisor to business leaders, and view legal work as an enabler of business growth and long-term success.
What You’ll Do
India Regulatory Advisory. Provide practical, forward-thinking legal advice on the Indian regulatory frameworks impacting OpenFX’s business, including RBI regulations (payments, FX, and authorized dealer regimes), IFSCA frameworks at GIFT City, FEMA and cross-border flow requirements, FIU-IND/PMLA obligations, and data protection laws (DPDPA). Support regulatory applications, representations, and structuring of new products and partnerships, and engage with regulators in coordination with outside counsel.
India Market Entry and Product Legal. Partner with product, compliance, and business teams to design and launch OpenFX’s India offering in a compliant manner. Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance that helps teams build compliant products while shipping fast. Advise on cross-border transaction structures, foreign regulatory implications, and the interaction between Indian rules and OpenFX’s global operating model. Work closely with the Compliance team to ensure contractual arrangements and policies align with licensing conditions and regulatory obligations.
Commercial Contracts and Partnerships. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements that power OpenFX’s business in India and globally, including institutional client agreements, banking and payment partner agreements, liquidity provider arrangements, BaaS and infrastructure partnerships, and intercompany arrangements. Contribute to scalable contracting playbooks, templates, and review processes that allow the business to move quickly without sacrificing quality or risk discipline.
India Hub and Corporate Support. Provide legal support for OpenFX’s Indian entity and Bangalore office of approximately 80 employees, including corporate governance, employment and HR matters, vendor and real estate agreements, privacy and data protection, and other operational legal needs. Coordinate with finance, people, and operations teams to keep the Indian entity running smoothly. Manage local outside counsel efficiently for specialist questions.
Global Legal Team Contribution. Contribute to the work of OpenFX’s global legal function on matters outside India, including commercial contracts with clients and partners, regulatory scoping for new market expansion, and general corporate matters. Collaborate closely with legal team members across the US, UK, and EU, and serve as a force multiplier for the broader function.
Scaling the Legal Function. Help build scalable legal processes and frameworks that support OpenFX’s rapid growth, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing legal team.

The Problem and the Role
OpenFX is on a mission to move money as freely as data, unrestricted by time zones, banking hours, or legacy systems. We are building the infrastructure that will power the next generation of cross-border payment systems for institutions.
We are seeking a Developer Experience Lead, who will report to the head of Product Growth, to own the entire developer-facing surface of our platform, from documentation to integration support to API governance. We have built a world-class financial engine, but how external developers experience that engine has no owner. This role fills that gap.
This is a foundational role. You will be the first hire in this function. You will architect the documentation ecosystem from the ground up, define the processes that keep it accurate as the platform evolves, and directly support the clients who integrate with our APIs. Over time, you will shape how Developer Experience operates as a discipline at OpenFX, influencing product decisions, integration strategy, and the developer journey end-to-end.
You will set the bar higher than industry standards, building a knowledge system that turns complex FX liquidity and cross-border payment flows into a Hello World integration in under 15 minutes.

OpenFX processes billions of dollars in transaction volume every month across global corridors. Our systems power pricing, transaction execution, settlement, reconciliation, and risk management. These systems must remain available, observable, and correct under retries, partial failures, external partner downtime, and sudden traffic spikes.
As volume scales from billions to tens of billions, operational complexity increases faster than headcount. Without strong DevOps ownership, we risk silent failures, slow incident response, fragile deployments, and growing operational debt.
We need DevOps Engineers who can own production reliability, design safe deployment systems, and reduce operational risk through automation and strong engineering judgment.
If we do not invest in this now, engineering velocity and system trust will degrade.
In your first 6 to 12 months, you will:
You will be measured on:
Impact: You operate systems that move real money.
Ownership: You own reliability outcomes, not just tooling.
Learning: You work on complex, failure prone systems.
Scope: You help define DevOps standards as the company scales.
Access: You work closely with senior engineers and leadership.

Product Manager, Currencies & Payments - Americas & Europe
Location: Miami, FL or London, UK
OpenFX is building programmatic money movement infrastructure that powers the next generation of payments companies globally. We move money as freely as data, unrestricted by time zones, banking hours, or legacy systems.
We are looking for a Product Manager to own currency expansion across North America, LATAM, and Europe. Every new currency unlocks new corridors for our institutional clients, directly driving trading volume and revenue. Your mandate is to scale aggressively across these geographies: sourcing liquidity providers, standing up settlement rails with banking partners, navigating jurisdiction-specific compliance, and ensuring every currency you launch meets the reliability bar our clients expect.
You will run your regional currency roadmap with independence. You will set pricing. You will prioritize engineering effort. You report to the PM for Payments & Currencies, who sets strategic prioritization for which currencies matter most based on payout corridor relevance. You own the how and the when.
If you have shipped cross-border payment products, worked with banking or card network infrastructure, or built API-driven financial products across jurisdictions, this role will feel familiar. The difference is you will be doing it at the frontier of stablecoin-settled FX infrastructure, where the rails are new and the playbook is yours to write.

OpenFX is on a mission to become the global backbone for cross-border FX transactions. We are building infrastructure that moves money as freely as data — fast, transparent, and accessible to businesses of every size. Backed by Accel, Atomico, M13, Northzone, NFX, and Pantara, we are scaling rapidly across the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
We are looking for a Talent Lead to build and scale OpenFX's talent acquisition function and contribute to broader people operations as we grow. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and knows how to attract exceptional talent across multiple geographies.
You will own the full recruiting lifecycle — from sourcing strategy and employer branding to offer negotiation and agency management — while also contributing to onboarding, workforce planning, and hiring analytics. You will partner closely with hiring managers and leadership across engineering, product, compliance, operations, and go-to-market teams to ensure we hire the right people at the right time.
This role reports to the Head of People Operations & Talent and is based in any of our core locations: Miami, London, Dubai, or Bengaluru.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and location. We benchmark against market data and are committed to equitable, transparent pay practices. Equity is a meaningful component of total compensation at OpenFX.
Submit your application through Greenhouse. Include your resume and, if you'd like, a brief note on why this role excites you. We review every application and aim to respond within one week.
OpenFX is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. About OpenFX
OpenFX is on a mission to become the global backbone for cross-border FX transactions. We are building the infrastructure to power the next generation of cross-border payment systems for institutions. The team's execution has been exceptional, and we're scaling remarkably. We're backed by Accel, Atomico, M13, Northzone, NFX, Pantara and other top-tier investors.
The Role
We're hiring a Head of People Operations & Talent to build and scale the people function at OpenFX. This is a builder role, not a maintenance role. We have a lean people team today and are investing to build it out significantly. You would be responsible for designing, standing up, and operationalizing the core people infrastructure — from recruiting systems to onboarding programs to performance frameworks — as we scale across multiple geographies.
You would own both talent acquisition and people operations across all of our geographies. That means recruiting infrastructure, onboarding, offboarding, employment compliance, benefits administration, performance frameworks, and employee relations. You would report to the COO and work closely with every functional leader in the company.
We are being direct about this because we've learned the hard way that ambiguity about the scope of this role doesn't serve anyone. This is a broad role. It covers both recruiting and people ops. If you're looking for a pure TA role or a pure HR generalist role, this isn't it. If you're excited about building a global people function at a company that's scaling quickly through regulated markets, keep reading.
What You Would Do in the First 90 Days
Month 1: Audit the current state of people operations and talent acquisition across all geographies. Understand the hiring plan, meet every functional leader, assess agency relationships, and identify the highest-leverage gaps. Get familiar with our employment setup in each jurisdiction (direct employment, PEO/EOR, contractor arrangements).
Month 2: Stand up the foundational systems. This means structured onboarding programs, a recruiting process with consistent interview frameworks and scorecards, and a clear intake system for hiring requests. Begin building internal sourcing capability to reduce agency dependency over time.
Month 3: Start delivering. Fill priority roles, launch the first round of structured onboarding, and present a workforce plan for the remainder of the year aligned to business priorities and budget. Have a clear point of view on what the people function needs to look like at 200 people and what you need to get there.

What We Offer

Competitive base salary benchmarked to your location, plus equity. We'll share specific ranges once we understand your geography and expectations.
How to Apply
Send your resume along with a short note (a few sentences is fine) on why this role specifically interests you and what you've built before that's relevant. We value directness over polish.
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.

Mission
OpenFX is building the infrastructure layer for institutional money movement at a global scale. We sit at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets, working with institutional users who move large volumes across currencies and care deeply about operational clarity in their money flows.
As a Lead Product Designer, you will help make complex financial infrastructure feel clear, trustworthy, and efficient. You'll work across client-facing trading experiences, internal operational tools, and the communications that connect both. The work goes beyond visual polish. It's about making intricate financial logic understandable to the people who rely on it every day.
Why Join
The problems are genuinely hard
This isn't a role where you'll inherit a mature design system and optimize funnels. You'll design for multi-currency payments product, compliance-gated workflows, and users who understand these systems better than most people building it. The work pushes well past what's traditionally considered the domain of a designer and you'll need to reason about state machines, data models, and operational risk, and turn that reasoning into interfaces that make complex things feel simple.
You get a front-row seat to shape how money moves around the world
Every year, migrants send over $656 billion home to their families, three times more than all foreign aid combined. But they lose more than $40 billion of that to transfer fees. The World Bank has shown that a 10% increase in per capita remittances leads to a 3.5% decline in the share of people living in poverty. When the cost and time of moving money goes down, the effects are measurable and material, more children in school, more small businesses funded, more families above the poverty line. This is the infrastructure you'd be helping to shape.
The playbook is being written right now
The way design works inside organizations is changing fast. AI is collapsing the distance between idea and artifact. Cross-functional boundaries are blurring. The traditional sequence of brief → wireframe → spec → handoff is giving way to something faster, more fluid, and less clearly defined. At OpenFX, you won't inherit someone else's process, you'll author it. You'll help shape how design, product, and engineering collaborate, how decisions get made, and what the culture of a design-aware company actually looks like when it's built from the ground up.

As transaction volume and geographic footprint scale, so does our threat surface. We need a SOC Engineer who can build and own a high-performance security operations function—one that detects early, responds decisively, reduces systemic risk, and scales ahead of growth. In fintech, a delayed alert is money lost and a missed signal is reputational damage. Security must be operational, measurable, and deeply integrated into how we ship and scale.

OpenFX is on a mission to move money as freely as data, unrestricted by time zones, banking hours, or legacy systems. We are building the infrastructure that will power the next generation of cross-border payment systems for institutions. Our early team includes operators from J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, FalconX, PayPal, Affirm, Polygon, Kraken, Nium and more. We’re backed by Accel, Lightspeed, NFX, and other top-tier investors.
The Problem You’ll Solve
OpenFX can already move money cross-border. But without a world-class collections (Pay-In) layer, we’re missing the front door of the funds flow. Building this unlocks a new category of clients (global platforms, marketplaces, remitters, enterprises) and makes OpenFX materially stickier: once customers collect through us, their entire flow runs on our rails.
Most global businesses still collect money like it’s 2008: opening local bank accounts country-by-country, reconciling fragmented bank statements, and wiring funds back to HQ with delays, hidden fees, and constant operational breakage. If you have hundreds of thousands of customers across countries, “collections” becomes a full-time organisation, just to get paid and understand who paid you.
You'll build the product that fixes this. By owning Pay-Ins end-to-end, from local fiat rails and virtual accounts to fiat→stablecoin routing, to reconciliation that finance teams can close books with, you'll unlock a new category of customers (global platforms, marketplaces, remitters, enterprises) and make OpenFX the default operating system for their global treasury.
What you’ll own
You'll be the directly responsible individual for the Pay-Ins charter, from strategy through execution. Ownership isn't about shipping features, it's about delivering outcomes. This means:
Launch Pay-In v1 across priority rails
Smart Order Routing automation
Payment tracking + reconciliation that scales globally
What success looks like
12 months in, you’ll know you’re succeeding if:

We are seeking a Product Manager to own the client onboarding experience end-to-end and act as the architect of how global institutions, corporates, and high-growth companies become live, trading clients on the OpenFX platform. We have built a world-class financial engine. Now we need an onboarding experience that matches it.
This is a foundational role where you will own the onboarding ecosystem from the ground up: designing client journey flows by segment, enabling clients to reach "ready to trade" across every product and corridor, and directly influencing how quickly clients go from first touch to first transaction. OpenFX operates across multiple currency corridors and the roadmap is expanding aggressively. Every new corridor and product brings its own compliance requirements, document standards, and integration complexity. You will build the architecture that scales with that ambition rather than requiring a rebuild every time we expand.

The Problem and the Role
OpenFX is on a mission to move money as freely as data, unrestricted by time zones, banking hours, or legacy systems. We are building the infrastructure that will power the next generation of cross-border payment systems for institutions.
We are seeking an exceptional Head of Design to lead our design organization during a critical phase of product maturity and scale. You will own the end-to-end design vision for our platform, creating intuitive interfaces that make complex financial operations feel simple for our institutional partners.
This is a foundational role where you will lead the design strategy for our core suite of products across multiple currencies and blockchain networks. Your work will directly impact how banks, payment providers, and fintech companies manage billions in transaction volume. You will establish design operations that can support our 10x growth trajectory, building systems that enable rapid iteration without sacrificing quality or consistency.
What You'll Actually Do & Own
Audit and Rebuild:
In your first six months, you will conduct a comprehensive audit of our current design system and user experience, identifying critical gaps where design debt is creating operational friction or limiting our ability to scale. You will establish the foundation for a world-class design organization.
Design Financial Tooling:
You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to improve our trading and treasury management interfaces, bringing sophisticated financial operations tooling to life through clean, purposeful design. This means understanding the nuances of how traders monitor liquidity across multiple venues, how treasury teams manage capital allocation decisions, and how operations teams need to track and reconcile thousands of transactions daily.
Build the Design System:
You will create a scalable design system that supports multiple product lines, define our approach to user research with institutional clients, and ensure that accessibility and usability standards are embedded in everything we ship. You will establish design operations that enable rapid iteration without sacrificing quality or consistency.
Build and Mentor the Team:
You will build and mentor a design team as we scale, establishing the culture, processes, and standards that will define design excellence at OpenFX. As a founding design leader, you will define the hiring standards, the voice, and the culture of the design organization.
Shape Design Strategy:
You will partner effectively with product managers and engineers to make smart tradeoffs under constraints. You will articulate design rationale that connects user needs to business outcomes, and you will be comfortable making decisions with imperfect information while moving quickly. Your design decisions will fundamentally shape our product trajectory and competitive positioning.
What Success Looks Like
Platform Transformation:
In your first year, you will have transformed our platform's usability, making previously manual or error-prone operations intuitive and reliable. Our financial institution partners will describe our tools as best-in-class compared to competitors.
Design System Velocity:
Your design system will enable our engineering team to ship new features faster while maintaining visual and interaction consistency across the platform.
Organizational Foundation:
You will have built the foundation for a world-class design organization that can scale with our ambitious growth plans, establishing the culture, processes, and standards that will define design excellence at OpenFX.
Requirements
8+ Years in Design with Financial Systems Leadership:
You have 8+ years of design experience with at least 3 years leading design for trading systems, market-making platforms, treasury management tools, or institutional financial software. You have designed interfaces where millions of dollars move based on user actions, and you understand the unique requirements of building for high-stakes financial decision-making.
Trading UI/UX Expertise:
You have deep, hands-on experience with trading UI/UX patterns—order books, position management, P&L visualization, risk dashboards, and real-time data displays. You have wrestled with the challenge of presenting dense financial information clearly without overwhelming users, and you know how to design for both novice operators and expert power users within the same platform.
Banking and Payments Product Knowledge:
You bring substantial knowledge of banking and payments products, understanding how financial institutions think about onboarding flows, KYC/compliance interfaces, reconciliation tools, reporting systems, and operational workflows. You have designed for regulated environments and appreciate the balance between innovation and institutional requirements.
Systems Thinking:
You are a systems thinker who can architect comprehensive design frameworks while also obsessing over pixel-perfect details. You know when to standardize components and when custom solutions are warranted. You understand how design decisions at the component level cascade into product-wide implications.
Collaborative and Pragmatic:
You are collaborative and pragmatic, knowing how to partner effectively with product managers and engineers to make smart tradeoffs under constraints. You can articulate design rationale that connects user needs to business outcomes, and you are comfortable making decisions with imperfect information while moving quickly.
Portfolio Evidence:
You can point to a portfolio demonstrating your experience with financial services design, particularly trading systems or institutional platforms. Your portfolio shows both strategic vision and execution excellence.
Preferred
Digital Asset Fluency:
You are fluent in both fiat and digital asset contexts. Whether it's traditional FX trading, payment processing, or blockchain-based settlement, you understand the fundamental operations and can translate complex technical concepts into elegant user experiences. Experience with stablecoins, DeFi protocols, or crypto trading platforms is a significant advantage.
Design System Architecture:
Experience building design systems from scratch for complex B2B platforms, including component libraries, design tokens, and documentation systems that enable non-designers to build consistent interfaces.
User Research in Institutional Contexts:
Experience conducting user research with institutional clients—understanding how to extract insights from busy financial professionals and translate them into actionable design improvements.
Why This Role?
Design Leadership:
You will be joining at an inflection point where design can fundamentally shape our product trajectory and competitive positioning. As we scale, you will define the hiring standards, the voice, and the culture of the design organization.
The Frontier of Fintech:
You will work on technically sophisticated problems at the frontier of fintech innovation, helping to build the infrastructure that powers the next generation of global money movement. You will learn the inner workings of global finance (FX liquidity, settlement, treasury), but you will apply them to the new payment stack as well as legacy rails of the past.
Direct User Access:
You will have direct access to institutional users—banks, payment providers, and fintech companies managing billions in transaction volume. You will see the immediate impact of your design decisions on real financial operations.
The Team:
You are joining a team of ex-Stripe, J.P. Morgan, and PayPal product managers and engineers. We are backed by Accel and Lightspeed, and we value design as a core part of the product. We are scaling our infrastructure to meet exponential demand while building the future of money movement.
To apply: Please submit your portfolio demonstrating your experience with financial services design, particularly trading systems or institutional platforms, along with your resume.

The Role
We're hiring a People Operations Lead to own and build the people operations function with a strong anchor in our Bangalore hub. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be responsible for designing and running the core people operations infrastructure — onboarding, offboarding, employment compliance, benefits administration, HRIS management, employee relations, and performance frameworks — with a particular focus on getting India operations to a best-in-class standard while supporting our global footprint.
You would report to the COO and work closely with the Head of People Operations & Talent (once hired) as well as every functional leader in the company. In the near term, you will be the most senior people ops person on the ground in Bangalore, and the team and leadership will rely on you to be the operational backbone of how we manage our people.
This role requires someone who has built and scaled people operations before. You should have 10+ years of experience, with meaningful depth in India employment law, HR compliance, and people operations at a company that was scaling quickly. If you've only operated in steady-state environments or in a single-country context, this will be a stretch.

We're backed by Accel, Atomico, M13, Northzone, NFX, Pantara and other top-tier investors.
The Role
We're hiring an Executive Assistant to support our CTO. This is not an entry-level EA role or an office management position. We are looking for someone with 8+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, with direct experience supporting C-suite or senior engineering/technology leaders at high-growth startups or fast-scaling technology companies. You should understand the rhythms of an engineering organization and be comfortable operating in a technical environment.
You would be based in Bangalore and report to the COO. You will be the CTO's primary point of operational support: managing his calendar, coordinating across engineering leads, preparing materials for technical reviews and planning sessions, tracking deliverables, and ensuring the operational machinery of the engineering organization runs smoothly.
The right person for this role has supported senior technology leaders at companies that were growing fast — where sprint cycles, technical roadmaps, and cross-functional dependencies are part of the daily landscape. If your experience is primarily at large, stable corporations or in non-technical environments, this will feel very different.

We are looking for someone with 8+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, with direct experience supporting C-suite executives at high-growth startups or fast-scaling technology companies. You should have been through the chaos of a company scaling quickly and know how to create order out of it.

The right person for this role is someone who has supported founders or C-level executives at startups that were growing fast — companies where priorities shift quickly, context-switching is constant, and the EA is a true force multiplier rather than a scheduler. If your experience is primarily at large, stable corporations with established support structures, this will feel very different.
