Position Overview
Woolpert is hiring a Senior Engineer Project Manager to join our dynamic Aviation Team. This position reports to our Aviation leadership team and is responsible for leading and managing the design, planning, and delivery of aviation and airfield improvement projects. This role oversees technical document preparation, directs multidisciplinary teams, coordinates with stakeholders such as TxDOT and airport sponsors, and ensures projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate brings strong civil engineering expertise, robust project management experience, and familiarity with FAA regulations and advisory circulars.
We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.
Qualified candidates may be eligible for a signing bonus of up to $8,000 based on experience and role alignment. Bonus eligibility is contingent upon 12 months of service and must be repaid if the employee leaves the company within one year of hire.
What You Will Do:
Project Leadership & Management
- Provide strategic and technical leadership for aviation and airfield engineering projects from conception through completion. Lead the development of construction plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and specialized engineering reports in alignment with FAA, TxDOT, and sponsor requirements. Establish clearly defined project scopes, prepare detailed fee proposals, and proactively manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful and timely delivery.
- Monitor project performance using earned value metrics, milestone tracking, and forecasting tools, identifying risks early and implementing effective mitigation strategies. Ensure consistency and quality across deliverables through structured QA/QC processes and adherence to applicable engineering standards, FAA Advisory Circulars, and best practices in airfield planning, pavement design, grading, geometry, and safety areas.
- Facilitate kickoff meetings, progress reviews, design workshops, and internal coordination sessions to maintain alignment across stakeholders and team members. Prepare and deliver accurate monthly invoicing, financial updates, and comprehensive Project Status Reports (PSRs) that outline progress, issues, and recommended actions. Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical oversight to project engineers and designers, supporting professional development and strengthening the aviation group’s overall technical capabilities.
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for airport sponsors, TxDOT, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and schedules, document decisions, and ensure clear and timely communication to maintain project alignment. Build and maintain positive client relationships through proactive engagement, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through.
Documentation & Compliance
- Review sponsor-provided documents, including as-built drawings and prior design reports. Coordinate with subconsultants for surveying, geotechnical investigations, environmental studies, and specialized technical services. Ensure project documentation complies with federal, state, and local requirements, including FAA grant processes, environmental regulations, and permitting rules.
Bidding & Construction Support
- Manage the bidding process by organizing pre-bid meetings, issuing addenda, responding to contractor inquiries, and evaluating proposals. Provide construction-phase support through site visits, review of change orders, coordination with contractors, and monitoring of field activities to uphold quality standards and design intent.
Project Close-Out
- Review and approve final engineering drawings, compile project cost summaries, and participate in final inspections with TxDOT and project sponsors. Ensure all close-out documentation is delivered accurately and in accordance with sponsor and regulatory requirements.
Client & Team Management
- Lead cross-functional internal and external teams through project execution. Strengthen client relationships by identifying opportunities during proposals, RFP/RFQ processes, and ongoing engagements. Partner with management to evaluate client satisfaction, manage project risks, and support the overall financial health of the aviation practice. Provide direction, mentorship, and performance support to junior staff.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 10+ years of project management experience in aviation and airfield design
- Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circulars and federal aviation regulations preferred
- Proficiency in AutoDesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related engineering software
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and technical reading skills
- Ability to respond professionally to sensitive client inquiries
- Ability to sit for extended periods; occasional reaching, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds
- Occasional travel required for site visits and client meetings

- BS in Civil Engineering
- 6+ years of experience
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D (strongly preferred) or MicroStation. Exposure to Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, Bluebeam, HydroCAD, Microsoft Suite, and other relevant software products a plus.

Overview
- Support the end-to-end engineering execution of BESS projects for data centers, from development to commissioning.
- Manage the technical scope of projects and serve as the technical point of contract to the project manager.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Collaborate with customers, EPC contractors, OEMs, and design consultants on integration of BESS with data center electrical infrastructure.

- Develop Short circuit, load flow, and arc flash studies using software such as ETAP.
- Assist in developing project schedules, procurement plans, and technical documentation.
- Conduct site walks and support field activities during installation and commissioning.
- Participate in Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) of BESS components and systems.
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies in coordination with Project Management.
- Ensure all work is compliant with relevant codes (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NFPA) and On Energy Storage’s internal standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably within the BESS, electrical infrastructure, or data center sectors.
- Familiarity with energy storage systems (CATL, Sungrow, Tesla, etc.) and high-voltage infrastructure.

We’re looking for an experienced Water Resources Engineer to help us deliver stream, wetland, and stormwater restoration projects from concept through construction across Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. This is a technical leadership role—ideal for a licensed engineer with advanced design skills, modeling proficiency, and the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project delivery. You’ll be based out of one of our regional offices or design hubs, or working remotely, working closely with engineers, scientists, and project managers across disciplines. You’ll spend most of your time on technical design and coordination, with occasional travel for site assessments, field data collection, construction oversight, and agency meetings. A Day in the Life
As an Engineer III, you’ll lead the technical design and plan development for stream and wetland restoration and stormwater management projects. Your day may include reviewing survey data, developing HEC-RAS or TR-55 models, creating grading plans in Civil 3D, or coordinating with permitting specialists and PMs.
You’ll work with junior engineers to produce high-quality plan sets, run QA/QC reviews, and communicate with clients and agencies to support approval processes. In the field, you’ll perform site assessments and support QA/QC during construction to ensure plans are implemented as designed. Whether it’s creating concept plans or overseeing agency submittals, your work will help deliver real restoration on the ground.

- A Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or ecological engineering
- PE license in the appropriate state
- 5+ years of professional experience in restoration, stormwater, or site development
- Advanced capability in stream, wetland, or stormwater management design, including feasibility studies, concept design, and restoration plans development

Position Summary
On Energy Storage is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to support the construction and commissioning of a utility-scale BESS project in Amarillo, TX. This is a full-time, on-site role embedded within the project team. The Field Engineer will serve as the primary technical resource for the EPC contractor and commissioning teams, providing real-time electrical and mechanical guidance, resolving field issues, and ensuring that installation activities align with On Energy Storage's engineering standards, design documents, and applicable codes. Key Responsibilities

Overview
The Senior Director – Quality, Operations will lead the operational quality strategy and execution for Venture Global’s LNG facilities, supporting operations, maintenance, and reliability activities across Calcasieu Pass LNG and Plaquemines LNG.
This role ensures quality excellence across routine operations, planned turnarounds, and both scheduled and emergent outages. The leader will drive rigorous QA/QC practices, defect elimination, and operational discipline across all operational activities.
The role partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, HSSE, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure that maintenance execution, repairs, modifications, and outage work meet the highest standards of reliability and safety.
This leader will serve as the enterprise operational quality authority and ensure strong field presence, audit rigor, and governance for non-conformance management, stop-the-line authority, root cause analysis, and lessons learned implementation across sites.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Quality Leadership
- Lead operational quality programs across operations including maintenance execution, support reliability improvement initiatives, turnarounds and outages, equipment repairs, and contractor oversight.

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to support our South Region team, a crucial role geared towards the design and management of transportation infrastructure projects, mainly for TxDOT. What you will do:

We’re hiring a Technical Project Manager with a strong consulting/owner’s-engineer background to lead multidisciplinary work across wind, solar, battery storage, high-voltage substation, and transmission programs. This is a technical engineering PM role: you’ll own scope, schedule, and budget and drive the engineering from early studies and permits through construction support and closeout.
What you’ll do
- Own the project lifecycle: lead scope definition, proposals/LOE, schedules, risk registers, change management, and cost control from feasibility to turnover.
- Drive technical delivery: coordinate and review civil, structural, electrical (P&C, HV, collection, interconnection) and studies work; ensure designs meet NEC/NESC/IEEE/ASCE, client standards, and constructability.
- Quality & compliance: manage QA/QC plans, submittals, RFIs, and document control; ensure environmental/permitting and interconnection requirements are integrated.
- Construction support: perform site visits; review shop drawings and test reports; support FAT/SAT, energization, punch-list closure, and lessons-learned.

Position Snapshot: Civil/Structural Engineer – Oil & Gas
Atwell is seeking a licensed Civil/Structural Engineer (PE) with experience supporting structural design and engineering for the Oil and Gas industry. Our current project portfolio includes oil and natural gas, CO₂, hydrogen, and renewable natural gas (RNG) pipelines, terminals, compressor stations, and processing facilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing civil and structural engineering efforts, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, budgets, client expectations, and applicable codes and standards. This position involves developing engineering documentation from concept through construction, overseeing structural analyses, mentoring junior team members, and coordinating across disciplines to support successful project execution.
You will play a critical role in the design of reinforced concrete foundations, structural steel platforms and supports, equipment skids, and pipeline structural systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the civil and structural engineering design for oil and gas infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, compressor stations, terminals, and process facilities
- Develop construction documents, including structural plans, general arrangements, framing plans, and connection details for steel and concrete structures
- Conduct structural analysis under various loading conditions including wind, seismic, blast, and equipment loads in accordance with applicable codes (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, API, etc.)
- Review and approve engineering calculations, drawings, and reports prepared by internal teams and subcontractors
- Collaborate with multidiscipline teams including mechanical, piping, and electrical to coordinate structural requirements across project phases
- Perform field visits to verify as-built conditions, gather site data, and provide construction support as needed
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and support team development through technical leadership
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope
- Support quality assurance by implementing Atwell’s QA/QC procedures and best practices
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution (Master’s a plus)

Position Summary
As a Mission Critical Design Leader at DLR Group, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project document development and coordinating with all project team members to maintain the quality of the work product within the established project schedule for large, complex mission-critical facilities, including hyperscale data centers, emergency operations centers, industrial environments, and advanced manufacturing projects.
As part of our integrated design team, you will help create buildings that elevate the human experience through design. You will partner directly with Market Sector leadership to ensure the project's financial health, the quality of design and documentation, risk mitigation, team collaboration, and seamless communication. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional design disciplines in developing innovative, technically rigorous solutions.
The successful candidate will:
Lead & Inspire Design Excellence
- Champion design quality and innovation across mission-critical project types, setting vision from concept through completion
- Elevate human-centered, resilient, and high-performance design principles tailored to secure and technology-driven environments
- Engage in internal and external thought leadership to advance design excellence in the mission-critical market
Mentor & Grow Design Talent
- Inspire and mentor multidisciplinary design teams, fostering curiosity, creativity, accountability, and technical confidence
- Support and develop emerging design leaders across studios and regions
- Model collaboration and knowledge-sharing to strengthen practice-wide design culture
Advance Technical Execution
- Lead integrated design teams to deliver coordinated, high-performance solutions
- Balance design excellence with mission-critical performance requirements, including redundancy, resiliency, security, and uptime
- Drive quality assurance, documentation excellence, and adherence to DLR Group standards
Engage Clients & Build Trusted Partnerships
- Cultivate strong relationships with sophisticated clients and technical stakeholders
- Translate complex operational, security, and reliability expectations into thoughtful, scalable solutions
- Confidently communicate design strategy, vision, and technical rationale in both client-facing and internal settings
Collaborate Strategically
- Partner with Market Sector leadership to support practice growth, innovation, and strategic pursuits
- Work closely with Project Managers to align design intent with scope, schedule, and performance goals
- Strengthen and reinforce DLR Group’s integrated design culture through shared accountability and transparent communication
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Architect or Project Engineer working on Data Center, Industrial, Warehouse Distribution, and Office projects, with 5+ years working on 10+ MW Data Center buildings.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field
- Proficient in the use of REVIT and CAD computer modeling and rendering software.
- The ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks.
- Licensed Architect or Engineer
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without needing a work visa or residency sponsorship.
