About the role:

We are looking for a visionary, tech-forward leader to architect and scale our global payroll engine. In this role, you won’t just manage a function; you will define the strategic roadmap for how Samsara compensates a world-class, global workforce.

You will lead our global payroll operations, transforming day-to-day execution into a high-precision, automated system that supports our international growth. As a key partner to HR, Tax, Legal, Accounting, and Equity, you will bridge the gap between financial integrity and employee experience. You will be the primary driver behind optimizing our global tech stack, leveraging AI and automation to eliminate manual friction, and ensuring that as Samsara grows, our internal controls and compliance frameworks remain ironclad.

This is a remote position open to candidates in the U.S. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

In this role, you will: 

• Drive Strategic Payroll Architecture: Provide visionary leadership for our global payroll operations, utilizing data-driven metrics to monitor and relentlessly improve the efficiency and impact of our delivery model.
• Build a World-Class Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop an elite, globally dispersed team of payroll professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous technical growth.
• Optimize Vendor Ecosystems: Own and evolve our relationships with external global service providers, ensuring they meet Samsara’s high standards for reliability and security. 
• Engineer Global Precision: Oversee all global payroll cycles, ensuring absolute accuracy and surgical compliance with US and international tax requirements across every jurisdiction.
• Strategic Cash & Treasury Partnership: Act as a key partner to the Treasury team by providing high-precision forecasting of global payroll cash outflows. You will ensure accurate cash positioning, allowing for optimized liquidity management across all international entities.
• Champion Financial Integrity: Master of all aspects of payroll accounting. You will be a key partner to Accounting and FP&A during month-end close, providing the flux analysis and variance reporting that informs our financial narrative.
• Lead Regulatory & Audit Excellence: Ensure all tax filings are executed with total accuracy. Lead the strategy for all payroll audits—including 401(k), Workers’ Comp, and statutory filings—ensuring our controls are always "audit-ready."
• Partner on Total Rewards: Collaborate with Stock Admin, Tax, and People teams to execute seamless stock-based compensation (RSUs, Options) while maintaining a rigorous focus on global tax compliance.
• Scale through AI & Automation: Identify and implement the next generation of scalable processes, leveraging AI-driven anomaly detection and automation to enhance operational flow while maintaining robust internal controls.
• Focus on Employee Experience: Drive a "customer-obsessed" employee experience by providing proactive, plain-English communications and training on complex topics like equity and tax. You will leverage AI-driven self-service tools and rigorous SLAs to ensure rapid, high-touch resolution of all global payroll inquiries.

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Proven Global Track Record: 10–15 years of progressive payroll leadership, with a deep technical command of both US and international payroll landscapes.
• Global Leadership Pedigree: Demonstrated success in leading and scaling globally dispersed teams through periods of significant headcount growth.

U.S. Compensation & Benefits  

Compensation at Inspire11 
Inspire11 follows Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Equal Pay Act of 1963, the Illinois Human Rights Act, the Illinois Equal Wage Act, and the Illinois Equal Pay Act of 2003. We believe that people performing the same role at the same level, with similar levels of ability or experience, should be similarly compensated. We also believe that the most critical factors driving compensation should be an Eleven’s skill, experience, performance, responsibility, and effort. We may also consider an employee’s length of service, relevant education, training, or certification, and the requirements of a specific job. We may also consider whether the cost of living or competition for talent in specific markets requires adjustments in compensation for employees in those markets. Our goal is to fairly compensate all our Elevens based on these factors within the Company’s financial ability.   

Compensation may be increased or decreased at Inspire11’s discretion based on an employee’s performance reviews, market conditions, and the Company’s financial performance. Inspire11 will always notify an employee in writing before any change is made to their compensation.  

Bonuses 
We may allow employees in Sales, Recruiting, or Leadership to earn periodic bonuses based on sales, revenue, client-specific or practice-specific targets. These targets are communicated to each eligible employee via offer letter or annual update. All such target-based bonuses are calculated based on the Company and an individual’s periodic performance and will only be awarded if: (a) the employee is meeting performance expectations and is an employee in good standing of the Company; (b) the target is met; and (c) the Company’s current financial performance and market conditions permit the bonus to be paid out. All periodic bonuses are discretionary and are earned only when paid out.   

Each year, the Company will decide whether the Company’s financial performance, market performance, and business realities allow it to create an annual bonus pool. If the Company decides that annual bonuses may be awarded, then the Leadership Team will grant annual bonuses to employees in good standing based on the same factors discussed in the previous paragraph while also considering employees’ diligence, performance, expertise, skill, judgment, and experience. To be eligible to participate in this annual bonus pool, an employee must be hired by no later than October 1st of the preceding year. Annual bonuses and merit increases may be prorated based on hire date. Employees eligible for target-based periodic bonuses are not eligible to participate in the annual bonus pool.   

Options or Other Equity in Inspire11 
Inspire11 has a legacy program that allowed certain high-performing employees to purchase shares of the Company through an affiliate. The Company also has a newer program that grants options annually to high-performing employees based on their performance reviews, their managers’ recommendation, and leadership approval. These options have a vesting period associated with them.  

Benefits 
Full-time employees are eligible for the following contributory benefits, where premiums are partially paid by the Company and partially by the employee:

Full-time employees are eligible for the following benefits provided wholly by the Company:  

• Short-term disability, providing for a benefit of 60% of an employee’s salary up to a maximum of $2,000 per week for up to 11 weeks after a 7-day waiting period; 
• Long-term disability, providing for 60% of an employee’s salary up to a maximum of $10,000 per month for the time period from the 91st day after a qualifying event through the earlier of the end of the disability or age 67; 
• Life insurance, providing for a benefit of two times the employee’s annual salary, up to a maximum payout of $400,000;   
• A connectivity stipend of $325 annually; 
• Employee Assistance Program, providing for confidential counseling sessions, 24-hour crisis support, online peer support groups, skills training, behavioral health coaching, initial free legal consultations (and discounted rates on referred lawyers), online legal forms, assistance with eldercare and parenting services, among other things.  

Full-time employees are also eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) plan, which allows employees to contribute to a standard or Roth IRA. According to a vesting schedule, the Company matches 100% of employee contributions up to 3% of an employee’s salary.  

Depending on eligibility and their elections, full-time employees may also have access to certain tax-advantaged savings accounts set up through the Company, into which employees contribute withheld funds:

Paid Time Off and Leave 
Inspire11 grants all eligible employees any statutory leave required by federal, Illinois, or other applicable law, such as FMLA, bereavement, sick leave, emergency leave, jury duty or witness leave, and VESSA leave.   

In addition, Inspire11 has a self-managed paid time off policy (PTO) that does not set predetermined upper limits on the amount of PTO an employee may take. All PTO must be requested in advance and approved by the appropriate supervisor to ensure client work can continue. All full-time employees are expected to take a minimum of one week of PTO each year.   

Inspire11 offers paid parental leave to full-time employees who have been with the company for at least one year. Birthing parents are eligible for up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave, while non-birthing parents are eligible for up to 6 weeks. Short-term disability (STD) benefits are also provided following childbirth. When combined with PTO and STD, birthing parents may receive a total of 18–20 weeks of paid leave. Lastly, Inspire11 has eight paid holidays.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for solving problems to join our agile AI Governance team at OneTrust. The Database Experience team builds the libraries and tools that developers use day-to-day working with MongoDB. Our mission is to increase developer adoption, satisfaction and retention by providing a reliable, enjoyable interface for developers and other end-users.

About the Team

The Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) team at Anduril develops small aerial drones (Group 1-3) along with all the necessary equipment for testing, deployment, and operation. The team transforms products like Ghost, Anvil, Altius, and Bolt from initial concepts into operational systems. We work closely with specialized teams to tackle some of our customers' most complex challenges. Currently, we are seeking a technical operations engineer for the Altius program, where you will leverage your operational and technical expertise to shape and deploy a solution of maximum effectiveness and reliability. Your scope will include standing up forward-deployed operations in austere environments, ensuring the successful combat employment of Anduril products, and shaping the long-term sustainment of these products. About The Job

As a Site Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for deploying, integrating, and managing customer and developmental cloud environments across TRS. This role requires a systems-thinking engineer who can bridge software development, platform engineering, and mission operations to ensure seamless integration of new capabilities while improving production scalability and maintaining reliability. This person will work with the test of the organization to identify gaps in test coverage and own the design and delivery of the hardware and software test solution. A strong Senior Electrical Test Engineer will need to have a proven track record of delivering turn key test solution for electronic components and systems and has a background in hardware, software, integration and sustainment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead and own Hardware Qualification test plan definition for new products and new features, in collaboration with firmware, software, and hardware design teams
• Determine test strategies that optimize product safety, product reliability, risk mitigation, FMEA coverage, and schedule
• Design and execution of PCBA and electrical system components with hands on testing and rework as necessary
• Data analysis and clear communication of results and collaboration with design engineers to resolve any product problems found via test
• Design and implement next generation test automation hardware systems to facilitate fast and repeatable testing of product
• Manage purchasing, build, integration and final commissioning of functional testers
• Develop test procedures and test automation from component level to system level
• Support board bring-up and bench validation as needed
• Support Design Engineer with DFT, provide feedback from test results to improve quality and test coverage
• Support manufacture test bring-up and yield
• Support quality field failure analysis
• Familiarity with measurement analysis techniques such as Gage RR and Process Capability Analysis

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineer or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience designing functional test equipment and PCBAs
• Experience in Schematic Capture and PCBA layout.
• Knowledge of scripting language to develop automation. Python, Matlab, PERL or SHELL. Experience in LabVIEW is a plus
• Instrument control using VISA and SCPI
• Understanding of peripherals and developing test and validation strategies
• Experience with computer hardware communication bus protocols: USB, I2C, I2S, CSI, Ethernet, SPI, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, etc
• Understanding of memory hierarchy and developing test and validation strategy

We are looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer to join our team in Atlanta! 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and ship production firmware for avionics, launch and ground support solutions, integrating with embedded Linux-based software and electro-mechanical end-to-end systems
• Implement and share ownership of existing CICD pipelines (evaluation hooks, performance/quality guardrails, and integration surfaces)
• Design and implement fault-tolerant low-level firmware drivers, middleware, and application software for microcontrollers in an RTOS environment (e.g., Zephyr), effectively managing concurrency and resource sharing through mutexes, semaphores, message queues, and event flags
• Collaborate on architecture and design emphasizing balance between loosely coupled concepts while considering determinism, complexity, stability, latency, power and memory constraints.
• Build firmware evaluation tools that interrogate code at compile-time and runtime, for quality, ruggedness and performance, in both virtual and on-target environments

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in firmware/embedded software development, with a focus on embedded systems.

• Extensive experience with popular RTOS platforms and a strong understanding of real-time scheduling algorithms and task management

The guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) team within TRS performs implementation, analysis, test, and validation for GNC software solutions supporting our autonomous drone fleet. Applications include attitude and position control, waypoint and terminal guidance engagements, and navigating contested environments including communication and GPS denied environments.

ABOUT THE JOB

This role will be responsible for guidance and control law development and validation, hardware and software in-the-loop test and analysis, and cutting edge navigation solutions supporting the entire range of drones within TRS.

What You’ll Do

• Aerodynamic Design & Analysis:
• Aerodynamic design of fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and hybrid VTOL platforms at conceptual, preliminary, and detail design maturities
• aerodynamic analysis of unmanned air vehicles, using both low and high order methods, including analysis tool development and improvement as needed
• Conduct detailed analysis to predict and enhance aero performance.
• Utilize Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools and low-order methods for performance evaluation.
• Develop and maintain in-house suite of aerodynamic analysis tools.
• Evaluate impacts of configuration changes on performance of the aircraft.
• Flight Simulation Development:
• Design, implement, and maintain high-fidelity flight simulation models.
• Utilize simulation to evaluate aircraft performance and reliability.
• Validate simulation accuracy against wind tunnel and flight test results
• Testing:
• Work with Flight Test personnel to plan and execute tests to evaluate aircraft performance
• Plan and coordinate wind tunnel testing to gather aerodynamic data

• Utilize flight test data to identify system bugs and failures
• Prepare technical reports and briefings to communicate findings with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years applicable professional experience with airborne platforms
• Proven experience in aerodynamic design and analysis, flight simulation, and flight testing
• Extensive hands-on experience with CFD tools, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent simulation platforms
• Expert level programming and data analysis skills (MATLAB, C++, etc.)
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics and flight dynamics, stability, and control
• A passion for defending the Unites States of America and its allies
