We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer with 6–11 years of professional experience in designing, automating, and managing modern cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes, Infrastructure Automation, and AI Agent technologies, with a passion for building scalable, resilient, and self-healing infrastructure platforms. You will play a critical role in streamlining infrastructure operations, improving deployment reliability, and enabling engineering teams through automation-first practices.
In this role, you will collaborate with software engineers, platform teams, DevOps professionals, and security stakeholders to build highly available infrastructure that supports mission-critical applications. You will leverage automation frameworks, container orchestration platforms, and intelligent AI-driven operational tools to improve system efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and accelerate software delivery.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure automation solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for high availability, security, and performance.
- Develop automation workflows for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines.
- Integrate AI Agent capabilities to automate infrastructure operations, monitoring, incident response, and system optimization.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistent, repeatable, and version-controlled infrastructure deployments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve application deployment strategies and operational efficiency.
- Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot production issues, and implement proactive improvements.
- Automate system maintenance, scaling, backups, disaster recovery, and operational tasks.
- Ensure infrastructure adheres to security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Participate in architecture discussions and recommend improvements for platform scalability and reliability.
- Create technical documentation, automation playbooks, and operational runbooks.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote automation best practices across engineering teams.
Required Skills
Must-Have Skills
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster deployment, administration, networking, storage, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience building and maintaining Infrastructure Automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience working with AI Agent technologies to automate infrastructure management, operational workflows, or intelligent system monitoring.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, networking, and containerized environments.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or similar automation languages.
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization skills.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience as a Linux Administrator, including system configuration, performance tuning, user management, networking, and security.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with GitOps methodologies and container security practices.
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies, infrastructure monitoring, and disaster recovery planning.
- Exposure to DevSecOps and compliance automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–11 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation.
- Demonstrated experience managing production-scale Kubernetes environments and implementing enterprise-grade automation solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and modern infrastructure management practices.
