We are seeking an accomplished Head – International Business to lead and accelerate our global business expansion initiatives. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in International Sales, Export, and Export-Import (EXIM) operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new international markets, building strategic partnerships, driving export revenue, and ensuring seamless cross-border business operations.
The ideal candidate possesses strong commercial acumen, exceptional relationship management skills, and a proven track record of developing successful international business strategies across multiple geographies. You will work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, distributors, and international customers to strengthen the company's global footprint and achieve sustainable business growth.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive international business strategies aligned with the company's long-term growth objectives.
- Drive international sales by identifying new markets, customers, distributors, and channel partners across global regions.
- Lead export business operations while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Manage end-to-end Export-Import (EXIM) activities, including shipping coordination, logistics, regulatory compliance, and commercial negotiations.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with overseas clients, distributors, government agencies, and strategic business partners.
- Evaluate global market opportunities through competitive analysis, customer insights, and market intelligence.
- Develop pricing, distribution, and market penetration strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Collaborate with supply chain, production, finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the organization at international trade exhibitions, business forums, and industry conferences.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, trade policies, tariffs, and geopolitical developments that may impact international business.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing international sales teams while establishing performance metrics and growth plans.
- Prepare business forecasts, sales reports, revenue projections, and strategic presentations for executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- MBA or Postgraduate qualification in International Business, Marketing, or General Management is preferred.
- 10–30 years of progressive experience in international business development, export management, or global sales leadership.
- Demonstrated success in expanding business across international markets and managing large export portfolios.

- Strong expertise in International Sales and global business development.
- Extensive experience managing Export operations across multiple countries.
- Deep understanding of Export-Import (EXIM) regulations, documentation, customs procedures, logistics, and international trade compliance.
