Civil Project Engineer

We have a career opportunity for an Civil Engineer to join our growing aviation group in our Colorado division. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience. The candidate must also have experience designing aviation projects. This individual will be developing plans, specifications, and estimates for airport agencies and private clients.

Location

This position will be based out of our Denver office.

The Impact You Will Have

Design responsibility for elements such as pavement, drainage, utilities, lighting/NAVAIDS, security and fuel facilities
Responsible for project design calculation files, ensuring adequate independent quality control reviews
Manage the process of compiling and coordinating plans, specifications, cost estimates and pay items
Coordinate and review drafting and the assembly of plan sets
Develop and oversee task work plans for assigned team members
Engage in active team communication
Organize technical meetings among design staff
Perform occasional field construction observation, sometimes requiring out-of-town travel
Active involvement in professional organizations

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required
Experience with FAA design standards preferred but not required
P.E. license in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain shortly after onboarded
Demonstrate advanced use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D Modeling
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to perform complex analysis and design
Ability to assemble a complete design package for assigned elements or projects
Ability to work effectively in a team environment

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary, overtime, and bonuses.

Colorado Pay Range

$95,000—$140,000 USD
