Job Duties and Responsibilities 

• Assembles and packs orders and items securely and effectively to minimize breakage 

• Carefully builds and wraps pallets for secure shipment with freight carriers 

• Verifies and records shipment data to ensure accuracy of the shipments and orders 

• Processes and maintains shipment data through ERP system to ensure that customer orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided as needed 

• Transports packages, raw materials, and goods to employees in various departments as needed to meet production requirements 

• Prepares area for daily shipment by replenishing shipping supplies, and assembling cardboard boxes and pallets 

• This position provides support and interacts with all FEC employees including business owners, the greater management team, and team members in Production, Administration, Quality, and other departments 

• Assemble kits with necessary materials for production jobs as required 

• Receive and verify all incoming materials, including mate cables to issue to the production floor as needed 

• Conduct weekly cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory records 

• File and scan all accompanying documents (packing slips, certificates) 

• Participate as a team player, assisting other departments or cross-training in other departments during periods of reduced activity

Serving as a finance leader, the Site Controller provides invaluable support to the operational site (“Operations” or “Site”) and its management team. The First Electronics Corporation (FEC)’s wire and cable termination team is responsible for ensuring wire signals and the electrical integrity of wire performance meet the requirements of the customers’ designs and expectations. This position is responsible for wire preparation, insulation removal, pin crimping onto the end of an electrical wire conductor that will be inserted or soldered into a connector. Minimum vision (aided with magnification) requirements and an ability to understand and carry out work instructions and take supervisor instruction are also important in this role.

Responsibilities

• Soldering and/or assembly of subsea electrical assemblies and components in accordance with job card.
• Follow technical drawings, assembly instructions and parts list to manufacture assemblies in line with customer expectations.
• Completing relevant production and testing documentation.
• Completing necessary preventative maintenance of all assembly equipment.
• Follow manufacturing priority plan set by production management.
• Managing time to maximise output while maintaining quality.
• Complying with safe working practices, following risk assessments, safe systems of work and COSHH requirements within the work cell.

Objectives / Scope

To define, implement and maintain a business development strategy for the group.

• Identify and deliver a sales pipeline to meet the business growth targets within defence, renewable and oil & gas markets
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships

Main Responsibilities

Interface and manage the sales pipeline from enquiry through to purchase order placement.

• Monitor and progress enquiry/sales order activities to collate data
• Provide marketing support and assist with business forecasting
• Business reporting on sales enquiries, market performance and opportunities, potential leads, success factor for obtaining new business and monthly KPIs to Head of Sales
