We are seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead our Quality function and drive compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Position Summary

The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with AS9100, internal standards, and customer requirements. This role leads the quality team, manages audits and corrective actions, and partners closely with Engineering and Production to drive measurable improvements in quality and performance.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining certification, reducing defects, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

What Success Looks Like

• Maintain AS9100 certification with successful audit outcomes
• Reduce internal defects, rework, and cost of poor quality (COPQ)
• Improve customer quality performance (scorecards, escapes, RMAs)
• Drive timely and effective corrective actions (internal and external)
• Build a strong, accountable, and capable quality team

Key Responsibilities

Quality Oversight & Compliance

• Manage and maintain the QMS in compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements
• Ensure execution of inspections, audits, and quality controls
• Oversee NCRs, RMAs, FAIs, and engineering change activities
• Lead internal and external audits, including customer and registrar audits
• Ensure adherence to specifications, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Support contract review and risk assessment processes

Customer & Supplier Quality

• Serve as primary point of contact for customer quality interactions
• Manage customer audits, corrective actions (SCARs), and scorecards
• Partner with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Inspectors, Engineers, and Test Technicians
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and performance management within the department
• Ensure proper staffing and coverage to meet production demands
• Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Corrective Actions & Continuous Improvement

• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action efforts
• Implement sustainable improvements to reduce defects and variation
• Drive process improvements in collaboration with Production and Engineering

Reporting & Metrics

• Track and report KPIs to leadership (scrap, rework, FPY, customer returns, etc.)
• Provide data-driven insights to support operational and strategic decisions

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience

• 7+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in AS9100 or ISO-certified environments required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and MIL standards
• Working knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 (certification preferred)
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
• Strong understanding of quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Familiarity with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Title: Technical Sales and Quoting Coordinator
Department: Sales
Reports To: Business Unit Director

Position Summary:

The Technical Sales and Quoting Coordinator supports the sales team by preparing and sending accurate and timely quotations to customers, maintaining pricing records, and coordinating between customers, engineering, and production to ensure alignment on requirements, timelines, and deliverables. This role is key to ensuring customer satisfaction, competitive pricing, and efficient order processing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret technical data packages, to prepare detailed cost estimations and quotes based on customer drawings, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and production teams to assess feasibility, lead times, and cost estimates.
• Maintain and update quote logs, customer records, and pricing databases.
• Track and follow up on outstanding quotes and open RFQs, ensuring timely responses and updates to the customer.
• Assist with the order intake process, including quote-to-order conversion and data entry into ERP systems and network.
• Interpret customer drawings and technical documents to ensure accurate cost estimation modeling.
• Coordinate with purchasing team to obtain up-to-date pricing for raw materials and components.
• Support the sales team with product information, lead time estimates, and documentation needs.
• Communicate regularly with customers to manage requirements and provide quote status, questions/issues during quoting process, supplier scorecards, etc.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in a sales support or quoting role, ideally in a manufacturing or wire harness environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid communication skills for internal coordination and customer interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical knowledge of wire harness manufacturing processes, materials, and components.
• Experience using quoting software or product costing tools.
• Familiarity with ISO or AS9100 quality standards (if applicable).
• Inside or outside sales experience.

• Calibrate and maintain inspection tools and equipment
• Manage and track limited shelf-life materials to ensure proper usage and compliance
• Ensure adherence to customer and industry standards, with knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards required
• Familiarity with J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards a plus
• IPC certification is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Prior experience in electronics or wire harness manufacturing is preferred
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Fluent in English (read, speak, and write)
