About the Role:
PHD EMEA is hiring a Strategy Director to join our global team working on Opella, Sanofi’s consumer healthcare division. This is a rare opportunity to work on a client that’s not only commercially significant—with over €36bn in global sales—but also purpose-driven, helping people take better care of their health every day.
Opella’s portfolio spans pain care, digestive health, allergy, and nutrition, with eight leading global brands and over 200 local ones. The healthcare sector is undergoing a transformation, and Opella is at the forefront—embracing innovation, digitalisation, and a more connected approach to consumer wellbeing.
As Strategy Director, you’ll help shape global communications strategies across 50+ markets, working with a collaborative team of strategists, digital specialists, and data experts. You’ll develop strategic frameworks, guide local market implementation, and build a strong measurement culture. You’ll also play a key role in integrating social strategy—including influencer marketing—into broader communications planning, ensuring campaigns are culturally relevant, insight-led, and channel-agnostic.
About You
We’re looking for a strategic thinker with extensive experience in media planning across integrated channels. You’ll be confident leading strategic conversations, simplifying complex ideas, and connecting business goals with smart media solutions.
Experience in FMCG or consumer healthcare is beneficial, and you’ll be comfortable using data to enhance planning—from audience segmentation to integrating econometrics and consolidating market insights.
Ideally, you’ll also bring experience in integrated social strategy, including influencer marketing, and understand how these channels contribute to broader communications planning.
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re outcome-focused, collaborative, and curious about digital and data-driven approaches.
You’ll take a workshop-style approach to strategy development, balancing evidence-based thinking with creativity, and managing projects from start to finish with clarity and confidence. We value diverse perspectives and are looking for someone who brings fresh thinking and a passion for building great brands through media.
About the Agency:
PHD is a growth-focused media agency driven by innovation and creativity.
Founded in London in 1990, we were the first media agency to offer strategic and creative planning at a time when the industry was about buying cheaply and quickly.
Our founders saw a bright future where smart thinking and clever planning could help brands grow faster than their competitors.
Over the many years that have followed, we have continued to build on this defining ethic — with our evolution shaped by a continual investment in thought leadership. And we continue to ensure that our capability and approach evolve in line with changes in media, data, technology, commerce, society, and legislation.
Today, with over 100 offices in 74 countries, we continue to create remarkable campaigns that lead to remarkable growth – using the extending canvas of data and technology.

Flexible Working
At Omnicom Media Group, we are committed to supporting flexibility for our people while fostering collaboration, innovation, and teamwork. We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely), to ensure that we meet the needs of both our people and our business, balancing the benefits of in-person connections with the flexibility of remote working. Our standard working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether that’s in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
We encourage open conversations between our people and managers to help navigate high-need periods and individual circumstances. Our goal is to create an environment where people feel genuinely supported to do their best - both in their careers and in their lives outside of work.

We want everyone to make the most of the opportunity to shine and showcase your talents and we are happy to make adjustments in the recruitment process so you can be your best. About the Role:
Following a strong year of growth and expanded client scopes heading into 2026, OMD UK is excited to be growing our Organic Performance Department with the addition of an Organic Performance Account Manager.
As a full-service media agency, search sits at the heart of our Connected Performance department — a multidisciplinary team of over 160 specialists across digital, planning and performance. This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious SEO practitioner who wants to work across a broad range of channel touchpoints, collaborate with experts across the agency and deepen their impact on one of the UK’s most high-profile brands.
Reporting into the Organic Performance Associate Director, you’ll be an inquisitive, proactive and hands-on SEO specialist, with the opportunity to expand your expertise into GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) across GenAI and LLM environments.
You’ll be the day-to-day lead for your clients — owning delivery, building trusted relationships and translating strategy into meaningful performance. Working closely with your Associate Director, you’ll help shape broader client strategies, identify new opportunities, and continuously look for smarter, more effective ways to drive results.
You’ll primarily work with Barclays, one of the UK’s largest and most complex financial institutions. Your work will span multiple business units including Retail, Corporate Bank, Marketing Communications, Private Bank, Barclaycard and Barclaycard Payments — offering exposure to a wide range of challenges, audiences and levels of organic maturity.
This role is ideal for a self-starting SEO all-rounder with strong hands-on experience who’s ready to take the next step into a more senior, client-facing position. If you’re curious, commercially minded and excited by the evolution of organic search into AI-led discovery, this role will give you the platform to grow.
