Imagine the year 2030. Advanced technology has automated routine tasks to put Police Officers back in the community, dramatically improving the quality and safety of our lives. Artificial Intelligence connects the dots and surfaces insights to help prevent crime and keep officers and citizens informed and protected.
Today, public safety officers spend up to 40% of their time on the job filling out paperwork. Not only is this tedious for officers, but the never-ending pile of paperwork reduces the amount of time they can spend out in the field, protecting their communities. That's why we're building Axon Records — a cloud-native web platform that cuts down on paperwork so that officers can spend more time prioritizing the safety of their communities.
As a Sr. Fullstack Engineer on the IRS Vietnam team, you will own features across the entire stack — from React-based UI to GraphQL APIs and Go microservices — and contribute directly to expanding Axon Records to international law enforcement agencies in the US, Australia, and the UK. You will help shape how the platform handles complex, country-specific reporting requirements at scale.
This is a high-impact role with opportunities for technical leadership and cross-team influence.
Work Location: This role is based out of our Ho Chi Minh Office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.

The Position
Join the infrastructure team behind MDaaS — a real-time malware scanning platform handling 30M+ requests/day, built on AWS, Kubernetes, and event streaming.
You'll work in an agile scrum team, owning infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability. Security and compliance are first-class requirements, not afterthoughts.
What You Will be Doing
Deploy and maintain workloads on EKS via ArgoCD — review GitOps PRs, handle sync failures, approve image updates

Triage alerts from Prometheus / Grafana / Coralogix — root cause analysis, resolve or escalate
Review and apply Terraform changes — plan, validate, and merge infra PRs (EKS, MSK, ALB, IAM)
Maintain CI/CD pipelines on Bitbucket Pipelines and GitHub Actions — fix broken builds, integrate security scans
Configure and tune KEDA ScaledObjects for Kafka / RabbitMQ consumers
Triage CVEs from Blackduck / Trivy reports — prioritize CVSS ≥ 7.0, coordinate patches with dev team
Rotate secrets, verify External Secrets Operator sync, enforce no-hardcoded-credentials policy
Document infrastructure and application changes for engineers and QA
Participate in on-call rotation — incident response, post-mortems, runbook updates
Research new tools and technologies to address current pain points and improve system reliability, scalability, and security — evaluate, prototype, and propose adoption when appropriate
What We Need From You
Education & Background
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience

Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type II — access control, audit trail, change management
Familiar with CIS Benchmarks for Kubernetes and Linux hardening
Development
Python and/or Go — scripting, tooling, automation
Able to read Node.js/TypeScript code to debug service issues independently
AI & Tooling
Actively uses AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) in daily workflow — writing scripts, Terraform modules, Helm templates, and debugging

Experience with large-scale systems: 30M+ requests/day
Azure exposure (secondary to AWS)
Has used AI to generate, review, or optimize infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm, bash scripts) and understands its limitations: hallucinations, outdated API references, security blind spots
Experimented with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) to build internal automation or tooling

At Axon, we’re on a mission to Protect Life. We’re explorers, pursuing society’s most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.
Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.
We’re out to make the world a safer place by solving big problems and taking on the public safety challenges of our time. From our company's inception building the TASER to a full suite of hardware and software solutions, we are focused on providing police agencies with state-of-the-art devices and services they need to successfully serve and protect us. In the next few years, we're going to eliminate the burden of paperwork in policing, so officers can increase the time they spend building relationships and serving in their communities. We’ll put video at the heart of police records so our justice system can get to the truth faster. And we won't stop innovating until the bullet is rendered obsolete.
It’s a big mission, but it’s one we’ll pursue relentlessly every single day.
Digital Evidence Management Systems are key to officer efficiency and Axon’s mobile applications, View and Capture, play critical roles in evidence acquisition. Axon View interacts with body-worn cameras to display live camera streams, or to view and tag previously-collected evidence. Axon Capture collects digital evidence (photos, videos, audio) and uploads to evidence.com for later processing.
As a iOS engineer on our team, you will be a key part of our next generation of mobile applications. You’ll ensure our codebases interact with platform SDKs related to photos, videos, audio, file management, networking, WiFi and bluetooth. You’ll write code that interacts with custom-made devices, such as Axon Body-Worn Cameras. You’ll ensure our codebase is performant and meets the highest data privacy standards.
Reports to: Engineering Manager, Mobile Development
As a iOS Engineer I, you’ve created mobile applications for years. You know the platform inside and out and you remember how it has changed over the years. You’re familiar with key frameworks and technologies important to our applications (Networking, Bluetooth, WiFi, Photo, Video).
You drive engineering efforts to completion. You evaluate, plan, estimate, communicate and collaborate. You ramp up quickly, solve problems and resolve ambiguity. You are ready to candidly and respectfully share your wisdom and knowledge for the betterment of our team, our code and our product.
Don’t meet every single requirement? That's ok. At Axon, we Aim Far. We think big with a long-term view because we want to reinvent the world to be a safer, better place. We are also committed to building diverse teams that reflect the communities we serve.
Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they check every box in the job description. If you’re excited about this role and our mission to Protect Life but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification listed here, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

We are looking for an elite Internal Tools Builder to act as the engine behind our company's operations. As we evolve into a full-funnel marketing platform serving over 600k+ verified users, our internal operations, ERP, and tooling need to scale just as fast.
In this role, you will work directly with company leadership to identify operational bottlenecks and build custom internal systems from the ground up. You will not be handed a perfect ticket; you will be handed a business problem. We need a highly autonomous Fullstack Engineer with a relentless "builder mindset" who can lead the topic, architect the system, and collaborate with other engineers to get it across the finish line.
You will not just "write code." You will own internal products end-to-end. Your core challenges will include:
Build the Engine: Architect and build robust internal tools, ERP modules, and operational systems across the entire stack (Database -> API -> UI) to make our internal teams wildly efficient.
Direct Collaboration with Leadership: You will work directly with leadership/the boss. You must be comfortable hopping on a call, translating a vague business problem into a technical roadmap, and executing it.
Lead the Topic: You are the technical owner. You will drive the architecture, make the hard technical trade-offs, and push back when necessary to ensure we are building the right thing.
Mentorship & Collaboration: You won't be doing it entirely alone. You will pair with and mentor a junior engineer—delegating tasks effectively, doing code reviews, and helping them level up their full-stack skills.
Performance & Architecture: Balance speed with stability. Know when an internal tool just needs a quick MVP to save the team 10 hours a week, and when a system needs to be highly scalable to handle massive data throughput.
We hire for mindset first, technology second.
1. The Builder Mindset
Idea to Reality: You thrive on ambiguity. You can take a vague request ("We are losing track of customer billing edge-cases") and independently architect the database, build the API, and craft the UI to solve it.
Internal Systems Expertise: You have experience building internal tools, ERPs, CRMs, or admin dashboards. You know how to stitch together third-party APIs, webhooks, and internal databases.
2. Engineering Skills
Deep Experience (5+ Years): You have a strong foundation in building complex, production-ready web applications.
Fullstack Fluency: You are completely comfortable jumping between backend logic (API design, complex SQL/Database modeling) and the frontend (React, state management) without skipping a beat.
3. Communication & Leadership
Exceptional Communicator: Because you work directly with leadership, your written and spoken English must be excellent. You can explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders clearly and confidently.
Force Multiplier: You have the patience and communication skills to mentor a junior engineer, breaking down complex architectures into actionable tasks for them.
Impact: The tools you build will instantly become the backbone of how our company operates daily.
Culture: We are a lean, fast-growing team that values Good Design, Trust, and Empowerment. We invest in our people and give them the autonomy to do their best work.
Perks:
Highly competitive salary + 13th-month bonus.
Stock options for high contributors.
Professional development package of up to $1,000/year.
Modern office with top-notch equipment (MacBook Pro).
Comprehensive healthcare package (Annual health check, Premium Health Insurance).
Flexible working hours with a standard 5-day workweek
