About The Role (What you will get to do)

Our Customer Solutions team is looking for a proven Enterprise Customer Solutions Manager to guide our enterprise customers through an environmental sustainability digital transformation. The objective will be to drive business and technical value for customers in varying maturity stages of their environmental sustainability journey. You will understand the Persefoni product in great depth to foster customer engagement and user adoption. The goal will be to quickly onboard new customers and ensure they get the most from the Persefoni product and support.

In Customer Solutions, you will be proactive in defining the strategic direction and operational strategies for your accounts. You will act on the customer’s behalf to ensure they achieve their carbon and sustainability goals, and you will champion their product needs as the voice of the customer. There will be opportunities to identify areas for continuous improvement, contribute to process definition and most importantly develop the talent within our department.

Responsibilities (What we expect)

• Cultivate the successful accelerated adoption and onboarding of the Persefoni platform at key organizations to help customers realize the business value of our partnership and offerings.
• Own the customer journey as the main point of contact, defining a success plan with deliverables, and ensuring clear communication across all activities of the customers’ post-sale journey.
• Provide coaching and education to improve adoption of the Persefoni product. 
• Identify, clearly communicate, and manage risk throughout the year through proactive touchpoints and taking the lead in developing resolution strategies.
• Identify successful customers and turn them into advocates, measured by participation in reference calls, case studies, webinars, and blogs.
• Partner with Sales, Solution Architecture, Marketing, and Executives to help ensure expansion opportunities are identified and closed successfully.
• Support subscription renewal plan by ensuring on-time invoicing and onboarding all customers to project managing potential development or functional improvements.

Qualifications (What you bring to the role)

• 3+ years CSM or Account Management experience and preferably within the SaaS industry.
• Experience working closely with C-level / SVP-level executives.
• Experience with executive business reviews.
• Experience in ESG performance, sustainability management, or environmental consulting is a plus.
• Experience in technical training and adoption.
• Engaging phone & video presence: enthusiastic and high energy, but also poised, confident, and extremely professional.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, global team. 

How You'll Know You’re on the Right Track

• You will be able to articulate how Persefoni incorporates carbon accounting standards and sustainability reporting frameworks within our platform in your first 3 months.
• You will demonstrate proficiency in the Persefoni platform and deliver an amazing customer onboarding experience in the first 3 months.
• You will be capable of using Persefoni systems and processes (including SFDC, ChurnZero, Zendesk, etc.) to appropriately track and report on relevant customer activities and information within your first 3 months.
• You will ensure customer health is high for renewal purposes and mitigate any risk on the account that could result in churn within your first 3 months.

Carbon Data Analyst

About The Role (What you will get to do)

As a Carbon Data Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing data from multiple data sources, communicating with Persefoni users via online chat to fill data gaps, and interfacing directly with the Persefoni platform. You will advance Persefoni’s mission to democratize carbon accounting and help simplify the process for users so that they can receive accurate, timely, and actionable carbon footprint data. 

Responsibilities (What we expect)

• Understand and become a subject matter expert on the Persefoni platform and be able to troubleshoot any errors. 
• Communicate clearly with clients on data gaps and obstacles in the carbon footprinting process.
• Transform data in excel to adapt to necessary requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the Persefoni’s internal carbon accounting experts. 
• Develop an understanding of different carbon accounting calculation methodologies and input data types. 
• Optimize processes to become more efficient with time. 
• Support time zones of Persefoni global customers (USA, Europe, Japan, Singapore, etc.)

Qualifications (What you bring to the role)

• High level of excel proficiency. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high proficiency in English and a high degree of attention to detail.
• Project management experience and ability to meet deadlines. 
• Capable of successfully working multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in gathering, formatting, and visually representing data.
• Proven ability to work cross functionally with technical and non-technical roles.
• Growth mindset and eagerness to learn quickly.
• Carbon accounting experience is preferred but not required.

How You'll Know You’re on the Right Track

• Within your first two weeks, you will learn how to use the Persefoni platform and receive intensive training on the types of input data needed to perform calculations.
• By thirty days, you will be interfacing directly with clients via online chat and supporting them with their carbon footprinting. 
• Within your first 90 days, you will begin to optimize the process and increase efficiency for supporting more clients.

Quality Assurance Engineer- Vietnam

About The Role (What you will get to do)

The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer will work with the team to develop, maintain, and execute automated tests primarily using Cypress.io. 

The QA Engineer will serve as a critical member of the quality assurance team, and will be responsible for upholding test code quality standards through code review and coaching. This role will also develop tooling and lay technical foundations to enrich our QA capabilities, while participating in agile ceremonies with their assigned development teams and manually testing new features as they become code complete.

Responsibilities (What we expect)

• Develop & maintain test automation frameworks and automated tests to support day to day operations of web platforms.
• Work together with other Quality Engineers to ensure effective verification of test specifications and requirements.
• Identify areas requiring quality improvement, initiate and follow through on plans of action necessary for implementation.
• Develop new automated test scripts.
• Work closely with Product Owners and Project Managers to ensure effective validation of user needs and business requirements.
• Perform smoke tests and regression testing, both manual and automated, as part of the release cycle.

Qualifications (What you bring to the role)

• 4+ years of professional experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role highly focused on software testing automation.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript.
• Strong experience in designing, creating, and executing complex test plans.
• Strong experience with Playwright.
• Applied knowledge of manual testing.
• Experience in automated API testing, specifically using Postman.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Be available as needed to assist in production deployments on alternating Friday evenings from approximately 4pm - 7pm PST.
• Proficiency in the English language is highly preferred. 

Bonus Points:

• Experience with performance and/or security testing.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and/or Go.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and experience working with Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar tools.

How You'll Know You’re on the Right Track

• Within your first two weeks, you will have a basic understanding of the Persefoni platform, the roles of the teams that are building it, and where your contributions will  be the most valuable. You will also recognize how we apply our culture code (i.e., operating principles) and be able to apply it in your daily activities. You will shadow other QA Engineers to understand the technology and tools we are using, our internal best practices, and start to develop a deep understanding of QA at Persefoni.
• Within your first four weeks, you will understand the needs of our growing QA infrastructure and begin to develop automated tests, quickly and effectively growing our test repo to increase coverage of existing features.
• Within six weeks of your start date, you will grow to fully support one or more application teams by developing automated tests for all new features being developed. You will actively participate in maintaining our automated suite as well as supporting our release processes via both manual and automated testing.

Backend Engineer: Platform API - Vietnam

About The Role (What you will get to do)

The Backend Engineer will be a key member to assist in building out our web services and backend persistence layer. Successful candidates should have a minimum of three years of recent professional programming in positions requiring the skills listed below with an emphasis on Golang, SQL and data modeling development. Our project entails implementing our pre-approved development targets and developing a robust and reusable code framework to deliver a variety of new features across our product lines according to our preferred architecture design and best practices. Our backend stack is a combination of Golang, Redis, MySQL, and Snowflake while following the Clean Architecture Design pattern. APIs are documented and managed using the Open API framework and maintained in ReadMe. All development work is managed via JIRA tracked sprints, Github trunk-based management, and infrastructure is managed in AWS with monitoring in Datadog.

Responsibilities (What we expect)

• Collaborate on the design of data models, technical architecture, data flows, schemas, and API contracts.
• Relay updates on existing work via Jira ticket status, push well documented pull requests for features, and collaborate through review and comments on your fellow developer pull requests.
• Building scalable and robust APIs within Go following the Clean Architecture Design pattern and API best practices around security and scaling.
• Write/Update Open API documentation to document new/existing APIs.
• Write/Update unit and integration tests to ensure adequate test coverage of our code base. 

Qualifications (What you bring to the role)

• At least 3+ years experience professionally programming in Go.
• At least 3+ years of experience specifically building back-end systems.
• At least 3 years of experience writing SQL against normalized data structures.
• Proficiency with code debugging and uncovering performance issues utilizing developer tooling.
• Proficiency writing unit and integration tests.
• Proficiency in English language is highly preferred.

• Within your first day, you should have been able to clone the repository and install the necessary tooling to build and run our projects locally.
• Within your first week, you will be familiarizing yourself with the code base and coordinating work on development tickets as requested.

Our backend stack is a combination of Golang, Redis, MySQL, and Snowflake while following the Clean Architecture Design pattern. APIs are documented and managed using the Open API framework and maintained in ReadMe. Our data pipelines for data loading and machine learning pipelines are managed via Databricks while our data transformation occurs with DBT against Snowflake within AWS cloud services. All development work is managed via JIRA tracked sprints, Github Git-flow branch management, and infrastructure is managed in AWS with monitoring in Datadog.

Responsibilities (What we expect)

• Collaborate on the design of data models, technical architecture, data flows, schemas, and API contracts.
• Relay updates on existing work via Jira ticket status, push well documented pull requests for features, and collaborate through review and comments on your fellow developer pull requests.
• Building scalable and robust data flows using Databricks, DBT and Snowflake.
• Add/Update to our backend persistence model in MySQL by writing SQL based migration scripts.
• Write/Update data test using native DBT tests and frameworks like Great Expectations to ensure adequate test coverage of our code base.

Qualifications (What you bring to the role)

• At least 3+ years experience building/managing data pipelines within Databricks.
• At least 3+ years experience transforming data in Snowflake with tools like DBT.
• At least 3+ years of experience specifically building data and ML pipelines
• At least 3 years of experience writing SQL against normalized data structures.
• Proficiency with code debugging and uncovering performance issues utilizing developer tooling.
• Proficiency writing data tests.
• ExperienceProficiency in English language is highly preferred.
