This position is a Principal Product Manager within Core DEMS, the team responsible for the backbone of our evidence ecosystem — including ingestion, search, organization, metadata, access control, and the platform layer that connects Evidence.com to the broader world of tools agencies depend on.
Axon Evidence is becoming a platform. The next chapter of Evidence.com is architectural: evolving from a single product into a composable, open evidence backend where any authorized surface — Axon-built or third-party — can access, act on, and contribute to evidence data through a well-governed API and AI agent integration layer. This Principal PM will own the strategy and roadmap for how that platform is exposed to the world. That means the Partner API program and its next evolution, the developer portal and partner certification framework, and the emerging capability that makes Evidence.com natively accessible to AI agents operating inside agency workflows — enabling any compatible AI tool an agency deploys to retrieve evidence, check chain of custody, surface case connections, and take action, all through a permissioned, auditable interface. It also means defining the reverse: how Evidence.com ingests context from external systems — RMS, CAD, court management, community data — so the intelligence layer always has a complete operational picture.
This is a category-defining role, not a feature-building one. The decisions made here set the architecture for how every external integration attaches to Evidence.com for the next decade, require executive alignment across product, security, legal, and go-to-market, and carry external influence that extends to ecosystem partners and AI platform vendors. The scope, strategic ambiguity, and organizational consequence of this role require Principal-level judgment and seniority.
Location: This role is based out of our Seattle, WA Office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. Digital Evidence Management Systems are key to officer efficiency and Axon’s mobile applications, View and Capture, play critical roles in evidence acquisition. Axon View interacts with body-worn cameras to display live camera streams, or to view and tag previously-collected evidence. Axon Capture collects digital evidence (photos, videos, audio) and uploads to evidence.com for later processing.
As a iOS engineer on our team, you will be a key part of our next generation of mobile applications. You’ll ensure our codebases interact with platform SDKs related to photos, videos, audio, file management, networking, WiFi and bluetooth. You’ll write code that interacts with custom-made devices, such as Axon Body-Worn Cameras. You’ll ensure our codebase is performant and meets the highest data privacy standards.

The Justice and Corrections team is building new solutions to improve efficiency, accountability, and equity in the Criminal Justice and Corrections systems to create better outcomes for everyone involved. As a Staff Software Engineer on the Justice & Corrections team at Axon, you’ll help prosecutors, public defenders and corrections officers better manage enormous workloads. Using your experience building large-scale cloud services, you will collaborate with other Staff and Senior Engineers to shape and drive the technical direction for the team. We’re looking for an experienced product manager who thrives on turning ambiguity into clarity, balancing short-term wins with long-term vision, and aligning stakeholders across diverse perspectives. You’ll have the opportunity to shape critical product areas, from early-stage ideation through execution and scaling.
What You’ll Do
Location: This role is based out of our Atlanta, GA Office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. This position is a founding member and key creator of the team responsible for developing new 0 to 1 products. Our mission is to help businesses of all sizes starting within healthcare, retail and logistics solve their most important operational problems using our vision based AI, cloud applications and connected sensors.
You will be voice of the enterprise customer and rapidly work to develop & validate new product concepts in the market, work closely with customers who are believers in the future of Axon AI and help drive the creation of new product pillars that will grow into large product lines in their own right.
You have a mix of startup and big tech experience with the fierce heart of a scrappy CEO leading a bold new venture here at Axon. You must bring full-stack product leader experience —equally comfortable working with world-class engineers, negotiating with legal, and pitching C-suite buyers. You thrive in ambiguity, influence without authority, and chase big, mission-driven outcomes with relentless energy.
