Marqeta is looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to independently identify and deliver software solutions on our Data Infrastructure team through a set of milestones spanning a specific platform focus or a multi-component system. You will own and deliver projects in service of quarterly goals on the team and independently identify solutions to solve ambiguous, open-ended problems. You will work in collaboration with your team and cross-functional partners.
The Data Infrastructure team, within our Data & ML Platforms organization, is responsible for the data lakehouse, streaming, orchestration, and catalog platforms that power analytics and AI across Marqeta. We're a platform engineering team building infrastructure that other engineering teams depend on.
At Marqeta, participation in a rotational on-call pager duty is a required part of the software engineering role. The specifics of the rotation may vary by team, depending on team size and structure, and will be discussed further during the interview process.

Role Overview
As a Principal Product Applications Engineer at Astera Labs, you will be at the forefront of enabling the world's leading cloud service providers and server/network OEMs to successfully deploy connectivity solutions. As a Senior Security Engineer at Later, you will play a critical role in strengthening and scaling the security foundations that power our platform. This role blends deep security expertise with hands-on engineering, with a particular focus on identity and access management, authentication systems, and secure-by-design development practices.
You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Product teams to embed security into our CI/CD pipelines, internal platforms, and customer-facing systems—enabling teams to move quickly while keeping our systems, data, and users safe. This is not a traditional marketing design role. It’s a narrative-driven brand design position embedded within our marketing team. Your job is to translate product thinking, design craft, and strategic impact into visual stories that earn attention and drive new business.
You’ll own and evolve how Metalab shows up in the world. From case studies and launch moments to showreels, landing pages, campaigns, and social storytelling, you’ll craft the visual narratives that showcase our work at the level it deserves.
