ABOUT THE JOB

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be a player-coach leading a high-caliber engineering team building advanced platforms. Depending on your area of ownership, you may lead one or more teams across domains including Control Plane (edge/cloud compute), Dev/Sec Ops, Data Platform & Governance, High Scale Event Processing (hundreds of billions of events per day), Mobile Platforms, SRE & Operations, or Radar Platform (our core web/cloud customer experience). At RADAR, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The expected base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000. As a key leader of the Commerce - Technical Operations team, you will help drive the availability and enablement for PlayStation Store, Catalog, Entitlement, Pricing and Device Management platforms. You will partner closely with product engineering teams to deliver innovative player features and elevate operational excellence for millions of players worldwide.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include hands-on application management within a public cloud environment, ensuring availability, resiliency, scalability and performance. You will work side by side with our service development teams to develop, automate and ensure the production readiness of all new services and features introduced.

• Review and influence service architecture and system design to improve resiliency, fault tolerance, and scalability. Establish and promote best practices across engineering teams.
• Own and evolve Infrastructure-as-Code for managed services (AWS, GCP). Design and build scalable, reusable modules and automation that standardize provisioning, configuration, and operations

Key Responsibilities

Service Mesh & API Security

• Deep expertise with service mesh architectures (e.g., Istio, Kong), to enable secure & reliable east-west service communication

• Extensive experience managing and configuring API gateways (e.g. Kong, Amazon API Gateway) for internal and external services, including:

• Authentication and authorization through OIDC, OAuth2, JWT, and mTLS

• Secure API exposure and traffic governance

Certificates & mTLS Management

• Strong experience managing PKI and certificate lifecycles, including issuance, rotation, and revocation

The Data Engineer will handle the core data aspects of software engineering and data science and utilize software engineering principles to develop algorithms that automate the data flow process. They will collaborate with data and system analysts to build machine learning and analytics infrastructure from testing to deployment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of professional experience in a Data Engineer role, preferably in the energy industry with a graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field. The candidate should also have experience using the following software/tools:

• Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, PowerBI, Kafka, etc.
• Experience with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud services.
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc.
• Experience with open-source technologies: Python, Pytorch, Flask, Tensorflow or Keras
• Experience with stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.
• Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Java, C++ etc.
• Experience with batch, micro-batching and real-time data ingestion methodologies.

WORK ENVIROMENT & CONDITIONS

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The position requires occasional carrying, lifting and/or moving objects up to 25 pounds. Occasional local travel required and reliable transportation to be able to attend SDCP events, meetings, and workshops as needed is expected. COMPENSATION: 

Salary Range: The position salary range is: $84,900 - $110,400; with exact compensation to be determined by SDCP, depending upon experience.

Position Overview:

The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET) is a software engineer responsible for designing and implementing automated validation systems that ensure the reliability and quality of software applications and services.

Salary Range:

The Role

As Staff Data Engineer, you will provide senior onshore technical leadership for the data engineering team. You will own a defined slice of our centralized Databricks data platform with full accountability for decisions and delivery, serve as a technical counterpart to the Principal Data Platform Engineer, and drive architectural judgment and independent problem-solving as platform complexity scales post-migration.

This is a hands-on data engineering role focused on building and maintaining production pipelines, exercising architectural judgment on data modeling and pipeline design, and serving as the onshore escalation point and institutional knowledge backup for platform decisions.

The Business Challenge

We operate multiple product lines (Transfer Pricing, R&D Services, RoyaltyStat, Provisioning), each with distinct databases containing enterprise financial data—journal entries, general ledgers, and financial statements. About the Role 

We're looking for a System Administrator / IT Lead to be the first internal IT hire. You'll shape not just how the environment runs today, but how it's designed and governed going forward. The immediate work is operational: standing up and managing our Microsoft 365 environments (commercial and government) alongside our MSP, working with the MSP and internal security and compliance teammates to maintain the technical requirements of our CMMC L2 posture. POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a staff full-stack engineer whose core strength is backend systems and infrastructure. You will own the platform that ingests, processes, stores, and serves large volumes of video and sensor data. The primary data sources are edge/IoT devices operating in the field. You need to understand how to design systems that work reliably under those conditions.

You care about reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency, and you are comfortable making architectural decisions early when requirements are still evolving. Privacy and security engineering is a first-class concern for this product, and you will own that infrastructure. If you have ML engineering experience, there are opportunities to apply it — but it is not required.

This is a small, early-stage team. You will design systems from scratch, make foundational architecture choices, and own entire subsystems end-to-end

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Device-to-cloud data platform: the systems that receive data from edge devices in the field, process it, store it efficiently, and make it queryable. This includes handling store-and-forward uploads, media pipelines, metadata indexing, tiered storage, and APIs that serve rich content to frontend experiences.
• Privacy and security infrastructure: access control, audit logging, configurable data retention and recording policies, consent management. Privacy is a day-one architectural requirement, not a feature bolted on later.
• Cloud infrastructure and DevOps: provisioning, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, cost management. You own the operational health of the platform.

Position Summary

The Sr. Director, Commercial Advanced Analytics & Data Strategy is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining, building, and scaling the analytics capabilities, data strategy, and governance frameworks that enable commercial decision-making across the organization. This role ensures that high quality data, advanced analytics, and AI enabled insights are seamlessly integrated into commercial strategy, planning, launch execution, and in market optimization.  The Sr. Director serves as a strategic partner cross-functionally, translating business priorities into scalable analytics products and platforms while ensuring governance, compliance, and measurable business impact.

Over time, this role will build and mature commercial advanced analytics and data capabilities, establish fit‑for‑purpose operating models, and define future talent and capability needs to support the evolving business. The role will work closely with Acadia’s AI team, which provides shared AI expertise across Commercial and R&D, as well as with IT teams responsible for enterprise data, infrastructure, and platform enablement.

Primary Responsibilities

Commercial Analytics Strategy & Leadership

• Partner with Commercial leadership to define the advance analytics vision, strategy and initiatives that enables the development of scalable analytics and decision-support capabilities that drive business outcomes

• Lead and govern advanced analytics projects, predictive analytics, and AI/machine learning solutions  supporting brand strategy, launch planning, patient support, segmentation, targeting, omnichannel optimization, and sales effectiveness.

Education/Experience/Skills

Key Skills:

The Mission Applications (MA) Group within the AC2 Division specializes in ensuring the technology that STR creates produces outsized mission impact. Staff within the MA group have a deep understanding of missions and technology needs for national security with skills targeting transition of technology to operational use, including product management, UX Product implementation, software integration & mission engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, and program management. MA staff combine with other science and engineering staff from the various STR research and development groups to form dedicated product teams focused on accelerating the operational transition of cutting-edge software technologies. 

The Role: 

As a Lead Mission Engineer (DevOps) in the Mission Applications Group, you will develop and deploy software essential for a specific, real-world objective or "mission" in partnership with our customers. You have: 1) expertise in developing and deploying software solutions in complex and high-security environments, 2) deep domain knowledge in the complex missions executed across the Department of Defense, and 3) expertise in modern frameworks, building full stack applications, and integrating APIs for deployment in high-security environments.

We’re seeking an experienced Software Engineer who can work across the stack, while also providing expertise in DevOps, security, and compliance. An ideal member of the team has previously helped move a software system to a government/DoD environment, can work quickly in complex environments, and has great communication skills.

What you'll do

• Own the technical roadmap and execution plan to achieve successful deployment of a key product suite to a government authorized system.
  • Design, build, and harden our product suite within a compliant cloud environment.
  • Work cross-functionally across product teams to help align timelines and develop solutions hands-on to meet security controls.
  • Implement strong change control: security impact analysis, testing/validation plans, and stakeholder notifications for significant changes.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years working in a DevSecOps or related capacity
• Experience deploying software into a government-authorized environment (IL6, JWICS)
• Full-stack experience - willing to get hand-on across our full stack (React/Node/Python stack)
• Strong foundation in security principles and experience developing software against security controls (ex. NIST SP 800-53) and related frameworks (ex. OSCAL)
• Strong documentation skills for software accreditation (ex. deployment runbooks, System Security Plans, CONOPS)

What You Will Contribute To Altos

As part of our team, you will help to accelerate and optimize our progress in agentic AI methods for biological and clinical data curation and analysis.

In this role, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary teams building the computational platforms that will enable Altos to achieve its mission. You will collaborate with biomedical research experts as well as other machine learning scientists and engineers across the Institute of Computation to contribute to the Altos research and translation ecosystem, focusing on designing and building state-of-the-art agentic AI systems and workflows that tackle biological questions, accelerate clinical data analysis, and aid in the discovery of novel interventions for aging and disease.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop agentic AI workflows for biological and clinical data curation tasks
• Research and implement advanced context engineering techniques (RAG, agentic RAG, graph RAG) tailored to biomedical data

Minimum Qualifications

• Familiarity with MCP server development and agent skill creation
