The Role:

This pivotal role drives the design and implementation of high-value features and the foundational Error-Reporting/Backtrace platform. Overview

At Rithum the Database Reliability Engineering (DBRE) team is responsible for the availability, reliability, and observability of all database systems. We rely heavily on automation to reduce manual work and are always looking for ways to improve our processes. We currently Manage and optimize a large-scale SQL Server environment spanning hundreds of instances across hybrid infrastructure (onprem VMware and AWS), as well as installations of various relational and NoSQL database platforms including MongoDB, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Postgres, and Redis. As a Senior Database Reliability Engineer, you are expected to embody these values and help foster them among your fellow team members. You are responsible for managing a variety of database systems and designing and leading your own projects with a highly technical approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum availability and reliability of mission-critical database systems across hybrid infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server Always-on Availability Groups, clustering, and replication topologies. Constantly improve the observability of all database systems.
• Lead major database upgrade initiatives and modernization efforts. Support other engineers and teams in their use of database systems.
• Continuously enhance observability using telemetry, performance analysis, and proactive monitoring.
• Continuously enhance processes through automation. Automate operational workflows using PowerShell, Python, and CI/CD tooling.
• Ensure all data is protected and secure
• Participate in our on-call rotation
• Troubleshoot and tune high-load production systems, including complex performance and replication issues.
• Lead technical response during high-severity incidents and conduct root cause analysis.

Qualifications 

Minimum Qualifications  

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing database systems
• Basic understanding of multi-tenant, database-driven applications
• Familiarity with common data storage technologies and use cases
• Proficiency in a common high-level language such as PowerShell or Python
• Design, implement, and support SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, clustering, and transactional replication
• Lead and execute major upgrade initiatives (e.g., SQL Server version upgrades, compatibilitylevel transitions)

The Cloud Engineering team in the Platform Engineering organization operates to build a highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure.

As an Infrastructure Engineer on this team, you ensure that our cloud infrastructure platform is continuously improved, secure, and scaled to meet our clients' needs.  Your responsibilities include creating, monitoring, and automating cloud infrastructure and pipelines, collaborating with engineering teams, security and other platform teams to deliver highly reliable and secure offerings, and providing support for existing solutions and consulting on how to automate their workloads on cloud infrastructure. Qualifications

What You'll Own

IT Strategy & Architecture

• Define and maintain Levitate's IT systems architecture — how tools are selected, integrated, and governed across the organization

AI Tooling Governance

• Conduct regular access audits to ensure the right teams have access to the right tools, aligned with our compliance and risk tolerance

Security, Compliance & Risk

• Own IT's role in Levitate's SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA compliance programs, serving as a primary resource and technical partner to our Compliance Specialist
• Maintain and evolve our security tooling stack, including endpoint protection (CrowdStrike), access management, and identity governance
• Ensure least-privilege access principles are applied consistently across all systems and locations
• Support compliance readiness for additional frameworks as the business requires (PCI, etc.)
• Proactively assess IT risk and bring recommendations to leadership before issues escalate

Systems Ownership & Administration

• Oversee system administration across Levitate's core IT stack — including Google Workspace, Zoom, Microsoft 365, MDM, JumpCloud, and other business-critical platforms
• Own SaaS license governance including renewal management, license optimization, and vendor relationships across the IT stack
• Own hardware and asset management lifecycle: procurement, enrollment, tracking, and offboarding across all locations
• Own and evolve our IT ticketing and service management solution, ensuring the team is delivering consistent, measurable support to the business
• Define standards and documentation for IT systems, configurations, and processes so knowledge is institutional, not individual
• Own and manage the internal IT budget, including partnering with Finance and cross-functional teams on annual planning, tracking spend, and identifying opportunities to optimize and reduce ongoing recurring costs across the IT stack

People Leadership & Team Development

• Manage, coach, and develop individual contributors on the IT Operations  team

What We're Looking For

Required

• 5+ years of experience in IT management, systems administration, or IT operations with at least 2 years in a people leadership or team lead role
• Demonstrated experience owning IT infrastructure and systems architecture in a multi-site or distributed environment
• Hands-on experience with endpoint security and protection platforms (CrowdStrike or equivalent)
• Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, MDM solutions, identity and access management (JumpCloud or equivalent), and SaaS application administration

As a Senior Deployment Systems Engineer (Sr. DSE), you are the principal technical architect and quarterback for Relay’s largest, most strategic, and multi-faceted enterprise deployments. When a Tier 1 enterprise customer purchases thousands of Relay devices for a multi-site rollout, you own the technical vision, the physical infrastructure, and the overall execution strategy to ensure success.

You sit within our Solutions organization alongside Solutions Engineers (SE). While the SE secures the technical win, you design, implement, and govern the system-wide deployment. You will leverage your expertise to proactively ensure the customer's facility has the optimal power load, scalable charging infrastructure, and resilient network capacity to support our devices, and you will coordinate and set the timing of hardware delivery and software integration across multiple workstreams. • Principal Deployment Architect & Quarterback: Serve as the overall technical project lead and decision-maker from the moment a massive, strategic deal closes through full operational deployment. You are accountable for the seamless handover from Solutions Engineering, the strategic coordination of activities with Customer Success, and the development and governance of the end-to-end implementation plan for Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Advanced Infrastructure & Network Design: Lead and conduct complex, multi-site audits and deep-dive technical assessments to validate the customer's enterprise IT and physical infrastructure readiness. What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a Senior VoIP Engineer with a modern engineering mindset to join Bandwidth's Network Operations team. While you possess deep expertise in SIP and carrier-grade environments, you view infrastructure through the lens of Software Reliability Engineering (SRE). As a Senior MuleSoft Engineer, you will design and deliver API-led integration solutions on Anypoint Platform — directly with clients, from discovery through go-live.
