We’re looking for self-starters who thrive independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The ideal candidate brings positive energy, strong people skills and a genuine passion for ice cream!
This position is SEASONAL and is directly tied to the peak demands of the summer months. The end date of employment is 10/07/2026 unless otherwise specified in the interview.
Seasonal Part Time Scoopers at Van Leeuwen's scoop shops make $17.95 per hour + an average of an additional $9 per hour in tips! Tips are based on averages and subject to seasonal fluctuation. Our team members must have availability to work at least three shifts per week and be available to work past 12am.

The estimated base salary range for this position is 200,000-300,000 USD per year (or local equivalent). The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This role will also be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonuses and a competitive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and enrollment in our company’s retirement savings plans. Senior Software Engineer
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work with a small team of full-stack developers that work on all server-side aspects of HVAC home automation and security. POSITION SUMMARY
The Hybrid Field Technician is an in-house IT professional, qualified to provide superior customer support to client needs and requests. This role is deeply technical and hardware-focused, sitting at the intersection of electrical engineering, systems architecture, customer requirements, and commercial deployment.
You will translate data center power delivery requirements, including fault current ratings, voltage drop budgets, voltage ripple specifications, and AC/DC architecture needs into precise, testable product specifications. You will negotiate those requirements with engineering, drive them through NPI stage gates, and ensure VEIR's cable systems achieve certification, reliability, and manufacturability targets on the path to commercial deployment.

What You’ll Need
We are seeking engineers with at least 6 years of professional experience using Java, .NET, or other server side languages in production. You should be comfortable utilizing agile development and thoroughly testing your own code. Our codebase is large and complex, so we expect you to write clear, concise code and intuitive documentation to help other engineers understand your contributions. Experience developing features built for the cloud, as well as the ability to delve into the front end stack (Javascript, ReactJS) is a big plus!

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a target base annual salary range of $170,000- $210,000, plus bonus opportunity, company stock options, and a full benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and a 401k plan. Please be aware that a candidates experience level and geographic location will be used to determine a competitive base salary. The higher end of this range is applicable to experienced candidates in the New York metro and Bay Area.
