About the Role

Charlie Health is hiring a few exceptional Licensed Mental Health Therapists/Counselors to provide remote, telehealth services to our adolescent and young adult clients. We’re eager to work with forward-thinking mental health and substance use professionals to enhance our programming and provide the best possible care to our clients.

Provide telehealth services to adolescents and young adults in a virtual setting. Positions available as part-time or full-time W-2.

• Part-Time: Minimum 12 hours/week; flexible scheduling

• Under the supervision of the Outpatient Behavioral Health Director, the Outpatient Behavioral Health Specialty Clinician provides high-level outpatient behavioral health services, with a specialty emphasis on a specific designated area of clinical specialty or concentration.
• Services will include individual, group, and family-based therapeutic services focusing on interdisciplinary treatment of complex, comorbid, and/or treatment resistant behavioral health disorders. This includes maintaining a caseload of minimally 32 billable clinical hours per week.
• As needed or directed, this position develops comprehensive clinical programming and/or curriculum specific to a clinical specialty and ensures all service delivery is aligned with all state, local, federal, and regulatory requirements.
• This position will maintain a comprehensive caseload that is based on community need, patient population need, and services will be delivered across all Outpatient Clinics.
• Maintains excellence clinical documentation in alignment with local, internal, state, federal, and regulatory standards and compliance.

• • 3 years of experience in an outpatient or community behavioral health setting.

  • Understanding of Colorado laws and regulations as they relate to the mental health practices, privacy, confidentiality, supervision, and ethical delivery of care.
  • Experience overseeing accurate and timely data collection and data reporting to include Medicaid billing or reporting requirements.
  • Behavioral Health Provider License issued by the state of Colorado with 3 years of applicable behavioral health experience. Acceptable licenses: Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Expertise in American Psychological Association (APA) ethical codes and applicable statutes.
  • Rural behavioral health experience with specific knowledge of resources and community agencies specific to Eagle County preferred.

1. Performs direct patient care on the patient care floors while participating in daily operational activities as necessary.

POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the Northpoint team, the Therapist/Counselor will oversee the therapeutic services provided to a caseload of patients. This individual will act as the treatment plan coordinator for the multi-disciplinary team in the development and implementation of the master treatment plan and the discharge plan for each patient. The Therapist/Counselor will provide individual, group and family therapy for assigned patients, as required by contractual and licensure obligations. This person will actively communicate with support staff, treatment teams, and outside agencies on treatment and safety issues pertaining to patients and their family members. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Provide counseling, assessments and group facilitation to individuals and families
• Coordinate all aspects of direct clinical care from admission to discharge
• Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality patient care

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s Degree of Mental Health, Social Sciences or commensurate experience required
• Must hold an active substance abuse or mental health licensure in the state where treatment services are rendered
• Must maintain applicable state licensure requirements at hire, and for the entire duration of employment
• 1+ year of experience in relevant field required
• Ability to work with a diverse population and possess strong interpersonal skills and knowledge required for treating patients assigned

About the Opportunity

Vail Health is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)—either an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist—to support patients with upper extremity conditions through specialized, medically prescribed hand therapy. This role is responsible for delivering high‑quality clinical care and coordinating all aspects of the hand therapy program.

This is a PRN (as‑needed) position and is eligible for a 16% PRN differential.

What You Will Do

• Evaluate, plan, and provide treatment for patients with upper extremity injuries or conditions to help them regain function or adapt to limitations.
• Deliver patient‑centered care by interpreting evaluations and test results, and coordinating treatment plans with physicians, physician assistants, and athletic trainers.
• Monitor patient progress, recommend adjustments to therapy plans, and document evaluations, goals, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards.

Each clinician is dedicated to evidence-based care and a conservative controlled substance prescribing style. Our objective is to make our services more available to those in need of high-quality mental health care. We aim to serve not only those in rural areas but be available to all regions for those who would prefer to make use of the privacy, security, and convenience of a telehealth consultation.

• Enjoy the autonomy of practicing in the best interest of the patient without corporate administrative interference!
• Up to 240/hour clinical medication management, reimbursement organized per code, choice of 30 min or 20 min follow-up appointments.
• Option to supervise clinician-selected, evidence-based Nurse Practitioners at 300/APN/mo.
• We are growing in the form of teams composed of multiple therapists and a prescriber.
• We emphasize regular staffing with your collaborating therapists, at least monthly, to discuss patient cases or clinical topics.
• Clinical work is performed from home, and days and hours are per the clinician's choosing. Clinical team meetings are also virtual.
• Compensation is per patient and per code billed, there is a medical, dental, vision, and short-term disability insurance benefit for full-time clinicians.
• Seeking someone excited to collaborate actively in a team-based format to ensure coordination between our Psychiatric and therapist providers.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a clean and unrestricted medical license 
• Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent patient-relation skills 
• Significant experience as a Psychiatrist is preferred but not required
