Job Title: Outpatient Therapist/Counselor (PRN)
Reports To: Program Director

Compensation: $27-45/hour

POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the Northpoint team, the Therapist/Counselor will oversee the therapeutic services provided to a caseload of clients. This individual will act as the treatment plan coordinator for the multi-disciplinary team in the development and implementation of the master treatment plan and the discharge plan for each client. The Therapist/Counselor will provide individual, group and family therapy for assigned clients, as required by contractual and licensure obligations. This person will actively communicate with support staff, treatment teams, and outside agencies on treatment and safety issues pertaining to clients and their family members. The Counselor will complete all documentation associated with these duties in a professional and timely manner.

This position is expected to supervise clients at all times which includes maintaining programming schedule, and utilizing de-escalation skills as needed. This position works under the direction of counseling staff, facility leadership, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care for all clients within the adolescent program. The Care Coordinator works in a variety of settings throughout the week, including onsite at the facility and other community activities.

Northpoint Recovery Holdings, LLC, established in 2009, is a growing, behavioral healthcare treatment platform treating adults with substance use disorder and co-occurring conditions under the Northpoint Recovery brand and adolescents with mental healthcare conditions under the Imagine by Northpoint brand. The Company serves patients with commercial health insurance and is an in-network model. Northpoint has grown from two facilities to eighteen today entirely on a de novo basis with plans to expand rapidly in both existing and new markets. POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the Northpoint team, the Intern is responsible for working under the direction of the counseling staff, leadership, and multidisciplinary team to gain relevant skills in the field of counseling, case management, and excellent delivery of services to patients at Northpoint.
