The Devices Hardware Engineering team is responsible for the core physical products that bring the Roku experience into millions of homes. We design and develop the industry-leading hardware that powers our ecosystem, including set-top boxes, streaming sticks, remotes, and innovative new devices. About the role

We are seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to join the Devices Hardware Engineering team. Based in Shenzhen, you will be our team’s first EE hire in Asia, serving as a critical bridge between our headquarters and our manufacturing partners. You will develop and lead exciting new products (set-top boxes, streaming players, remotes) through the complete design lifecycle, from initial concept to mass production (MP).
The successful candidate will be an energetic, self-starting team player who can manage multiple projects and thrive during rapid development cycles. You will possess the expertise and determination to ensure projects stay on target regarding design, quality, schedule, and cost.

What you'll be doing

• Design Ownership: Own the complete electrical system (BOM/Schematics/PCB) for new products.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with US-based Software, Mechanical Engineering, and Program Management teams.
• Component Selection: Identify and qualify components based on performance, reliability, cost, and local availability/lead times.
• Validation: Plan and lead hardware validation (EVT/DVT/PVT) for your designs.
• On-site Factory Support: Provide immediate, on-the-ground support for factory builds, assisting with test station setup, failure analysis (FA), and yield improvement.
• Vendor Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for local JDMs, ODMs, and component suppliers.

The mission of this role is to lead and scale the firmware engineering organization responsible for architecting and delivering firmware and microcontroller subsystems for Astera Labs’ SoC and systems products.

Overview

As an RF De-Sense Engineer specializing in wireless consumer devices like smartphones and wearables, you will tackle the intricate challenges of electromagnetic interference to deliver high-performance wireless solutions. Your expertise will drive the integration of more features and sensors into compact form factors, optimizing technologies such as WiFi and Bluetooth.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end RF desense systems, covering architecture, design, validation, troubleshooting, and production to ensure optimal wireless performance.
• Analyze product operations' impact on wireless performance, identifying potential noise sources and desense risks.
• Review and evaluate product designs at various stages, including schematic, board layout, and mechanical structure.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams—including wireless, mechanical, electrical, and software engineers—on research, prototyping, and implementation.
• Utilize RF desense concepts like shielding, grounding, filtering, and isolation to inform design and debugging, leveraging both measurement and simulation data.
• Design and develop desense test methods and setups, executing comprehensive validation exercises.
• Propose corrective actions to address identified desense issues and effectively communicate validation results through organized reports.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in RF design and wireless technologies.
• Strong understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit analysis.
• Proficiency in RF schematic and PCB layout best practices.
• Hands-on experience with general-purpose RF test equipment, including Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, and Oscilloscope.

Preferred Qualifications

We're looking to hire for our Data side of our AI team at Speechify. This role is responsible for all aspects of data collection to support our model training operations. We are able to build high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work. What You’ll Do

• Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and bring it into our ingestion pipeline
• Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, currently running on GCP and managed with Terraform.
• Collaborate closely with our Scientists to shift the cost/throughput/quality frontier, delivering richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power our next-generation models.

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.

• Partner closely with business stakeholders, supply chain operations, planning, sourcing, logistics, customer service, and technology teams to gather requirements, define priorities, and translate business needs into scalable product solutions and technical specifications.
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from discovery and business case development through solution design, delivery, testing, rollout, adoption, and continuous improvement.

• Experience in managing digital products or platforms in SCM-related domains such as ERP, OMS, WMS, TMS, planning systems, or related operational systems.
• Practical experience with AI, data science, machine learning, or algorithm-driven solutions, especially in business use cases such as forecasting, optimization, recommendation, anomaly detection, or intelligent workflow automation.
• Good understanding of how AI and LLM technologies can be applied to supply chain use cases, including decision support, knowledge access, workflow productivity, and operational insights.
