Responsibilities:

• Engage in customer interactions, collect feedback to build/design new prototypes and shape, plan and build product features together with our designers, product managers and other stakeholders
• Build features end to end, including backend and database work, with a strong focus on the user interface and user experience
• Collaborate closely with other team members in the Boston office (including Pre-Sales, Sales, Post-Sales, and Marketing) to shape and build product improvements (across the whole product)
• Build accessible user interfaces with React (NextJS), Tailwind, JollyUI (shadcn) and React Aria
• Establish and maintain good UI development practise in our codebase, while shaping out a well-documented component library with our design team
• Refactor and improve existing user interfaces, ideally by extracting and re-using common components
• Support and mentor other team members to help them build better UI
• Provide technical support to customers, collaborating with the Client Operations team

Required Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast moving startup environment, taking ownership of product features and pushing them forward
• 3+ years of full-time industry experience building frontend web applications in a production environment
• Very good understanding of using TypeScript (2+ years) with React (3+ years)
• Good understanding of using React Aria or an equivalent library for building accessible React components

About the Opportunity

We are hiring a Senior Personalization Solution Architect with deep domain expertise in personalization and experimentation to join Contentful’s Professional Services team. This role is designed for a practitioner who has built, operated, and scaled personalization programs in production, and who also brings the hands-on technical skills required to implement those programs in modern, composable architectures.

This is not a generalist Solution Architect role with light exposure to personalization. Creating a delightful customer experience from order creation to delivery is a key part of ezCater’s mission. As a Software Engineer on our Finance Technology team, you will focus on building solutions that will transform ezCater’s finance technology platform as ezCater scales and builds new features that enables an agentic commerce future. This will include building a first-class, modern tech stack that pairs ezCater’s existing software solutions with AI-enabled tooling. You will focus on designing and implementing features for this new tech stack that will enable performant, safe, and compliant financial transactions for our customers and restaurant partners (RP). As a Senior Engineer on the Discovery Squad, you’ll work closely with software engineers, product managers and designers to ensure the Records data is easy for users to locate and analyze. You’ll work on major technical projects with large data volumes, lead the implementation of new features, and help shape our team culture and engineering processes.

Location: This role is based out of our Seattle or Boston office and follows a hybrid schedule. • Lead engineering architecture design reviews
• Set a high technical bar for the team through code and architecture design reviews

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems
• Backend service experience in multiple, managed languages such as Java, Scala, Go, C#, or similar
• Experience working with ElasticSearch or other search engine technologies
• Experience with realtime streaming event log or messaging technologies, such as Kafka or ActiveMQ
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL data stores
• Experience with Golang, GraphQL, and TypeScript programming is a plus

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 141,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 225,600 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors. You will work across the stack—from backend services and data pipelines to user-facing web applications—building reliable, scalable systems that turn complex biological data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance full-stack applications that translate complex biological data and operational needs into intuitive software using Python and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Champion an AI-first mindset, leveraging generative AI tools and LLM-based assistants to accelerate feature development, optimize code quality, and automate routine engineering tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional domain experts to architect and operate on biological datasets (genomic, diagnostic, or epidemiological), ensuring that surveillance workflows maintain high standards for data integrity, provenance, and security.
• Influence the technical roadmap and long-term evolution of the Biosecurity platform, identifying and mitigating technical debt and architectural bottlenecks before they impact delivery.
• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines where automated unit, integration, and security testing are treated as mandatory gates for every code deployment.
• Drive engineering excellence by leading technical design reviews and providing critical feedback on software modularity, while upholding rigorous standards for documentation, observability, and long-term maintainability
• Support production systems by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving reliability, including on-call support and triage in off hours

Minimum Requirements

• 6-8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant full-stack development work, including ownership of complex systems and cross-team technical initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development (our primary programming language).
• Experience building and consuming APIs (REST and/or GraphQL).
• Experience developing modern web frontends using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) into daily workflows to increase productivity and code reliability
• Proven experience collaborating  domain experts (scientific, operations, product, etc) to translate complex biological data (genomic, diagnostic, or epidemiological) into robust software solutions and actionable insights
• Solid grounding in software engineering fundamentals: data structures, system design, version control, and modern CI/CD patterns for automated testing and deployment

Preferred Capabilities and Experience

• Prior experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, public health, or a related domain.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with data pipelines, workflow orchestration, or analytics platforms.

Role

Watershed Informatics is hiring an experienced UI Software Engineer to design and build powerful interface features for our genomic analysis and system management software. We’re looking for engineers eager to weigh tradeoffs, solve real problems, and expand the capabilities of an enterprise software offering. 

You’ll work side-by-side with fellow engineers, bioinformaticians, and our VP to invent new ways for biologists to convert data into better plots. Focusing on developing new features with ReactJS and NextJS, you’ll consult with biologists and our bioinformaticians to understand the stages of genomic analysis, and create an interface that is exceptionally flexible and useful for scientists. 

We are currently focused on mid-senior level, experienced engineers. To us, this means 2-7 years of experience designing and writing software that solves tough problems in a rigorous engineering environment.

• Design and build web applications with the latest web technologies
• Create intuitive and well-polished user interfaces
• Work closely with a designer and engineering members to iterate on platform design and functionality
• Integrate with and implement backend API's to create new UI features
