• Robotics Business Lines — These teams own specific Anduril robots end-to-end, as well as individual pieces of hardware on those robots.

RAIL bridges the gap between Mission Autonomy and diverse sets of hardware by creating common hardware interfaces. To allow Anduril to effortlessly integrate with new hardware. RAIL enables Anduril to scale and deploy ambitious new robot designs on short timelines by leveraging learnings and investments from our existing portfolio of diverse hardware and products.

For example, Anduril procures autopilots from a multitude of different hardware vendors. Each autopilot has a subtly different hardware interface — some use MAVLINK, some use STANAG, others use bespoke vendor-specific serial interfaces. Despite having different interfaces, they all provide standard functionality that flies along a set of waypoints.

As an author of advanced mission behavior, I shouldn’t care whether my autopilot speaks MAVLINK or STANAG — I just want my vehicle to get flying. RAIL abstracts away these subtle hardware differences from Mission Autonomy by providing a shared, common interface as a layer between Mission Autonomy and low-level hardware integrations. RAIL also provides other valuable features such as hardware custody management and access-control semantics, shared-memory IPC approaches and flexible observability plugins, to name a few.

Our amazing Data Center team is responsible for maintaining and growing the physical infrastructure of the DigitalOcean cloud, past, present and future. As a Lead Robotics Software Engineer on our TRS team, you'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge autonomous systems development. You'll tackle diverse challenges in autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and networking, making critical engineering decisions that directly impact mission success. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring Anduril's products work seamlessly together to achieve a variety of crucial outcomes. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop and maintain core robotics libraries, including frame transformations, targeting, and guidance systems, that will be utilized across all Anduril robotics platforms
• Lead the development and implementation of major features for our products, such as designing and building Software-in-the-Loop simulators for advanced systems like Altius
• Lead and mentor a group software engineers to help drive team success and to successfully hit tight project deadlines
• Optimize performance of existing products, primarily focused on our Altius Drone product line
• Collaborate closely with hardware and manufacturing teams throughout the product development lifecycle, providing timely feedback to influence and enhance final hardware designs

ABOUT THE JOB

The Mission Operations team is responsible for managing the execution, growth, and success of our client accounts. Working across product, engineering, sales, and logistics teams, our Mission Operations Engineers own the client relationships and develop, plan, and deploy Anduril products in support of their missions. They work side-by-side with clients to understand their specific problem sets and then shape Anduril's offerings alongside our engineering teams to fit the mission needs. • Serve as a customer-facing Account Manager. We are looking to bring on a Senior Electrical Test Engineer to design and deliver test systems for Anduril’s electronic products. This person will work with the test of the organization to identify gaps in test coverage and own the design and delivery of the hardware and software test solution. A strong Senior Electrical Test Engineer will need to have a proven track record of delivering turn key test solution for electronic components and systems and has a background in hardware, software, integration and sustainment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead and own Hardware Qualification test plan definition for new products and new features, in collaboration with firmware, software, and hardware design teams
• Determine test strategies that optimize product safety, product reliability, risk mitigation, FMEA coverage, and schedule
• Design and execution of PCBA and electrical system components with hands on testing and rework as necessary

About The Job

As a Site Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for deploying, integrating, and managing customer and developmental cloud environments across TRS. This role requires a systems-thinking engineer who can bridge software development, platform engineering, and mission operations to ensure seamless integration of new capabilities while improving production scalability and maintaining reliability. The Test and Evaluation team at Anduril plays a crucial role in our mission, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of performance and reliability. Our team conducts full system level development testing, new production acceptance testing, software validation testing and much more. This position is looking for a highly motivated flight test engineer with emphasis in software/hardware capability development and evaluation for the Altius UAS platform. Altius is a Group 2/3 autonomous vehicle specializing in intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. You will be responsible for the evaluation of the software and hardware capabilities for operational suitability as well as Altius’s integration into the full suite of Anduril systems to complete complex operations.

What you’ll do

• As a flight test engineer, under minimal supervision, you will be responsible for test planning, execution, reporting, and evaluating the system under test (software and/or hardware).
• Test duties include:
• Candidate will support and plan test events conducted at test sites as required by the specific test.
• Configuration management of test owned assets. This includes specific to test configuration management (hardware components, specific payloads, software/firmware configuration) as well as fleet management (facilitate and track required maintenance, planning/assigning asset requirements for current testing and future efforts).

About The Job

As a Site Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for deploying, integrating, and managing customer and developmental cloud environments across TRS. This role requires a systems-thinking engineer who can bridge software development, platform engineering, and mission operations to ensure seamless integration of new capabilities while improving production scalability and maintaining reliability. The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud-based deployments, drive continuous improvement of data pipelines and observability infrastructure for TRS’s growing drone fleets, and identify opportunities to leverage emerging platform services to enhance system performance and data quality. This position will also play a critical role in scaling integration best practices and building out functional capabilities across additional TRS product lines.

What You Will Do

• Cloud Deployment & Environment Management: Own and execute customer and developmental cloud deployments across TRS product lines, ensuring reliable configuration management, version control, and seamless promotion of releases from development through production environments.
• Anduril Platform Services Integration: Evaluate, prototype, and integrate emerging platform capabilities (such as RDF and MissionSim) and/or 3rd party services (such as Arena AI and AFATDS/AXS) to improve data discoverability, consistency, and analytical capabilities across TRS systems.
• Data Pipeline & Observability Infrastructure: Maintain and enhance existing data pipelines, metrics frameworks, and monitoring solutions including Grafana and Nominal; ensure high availability, data quality, and actionable insights for engineering and operations teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other STEM focused degree
• Advanced proficiency in programming languages (Python for scripting and integration).
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jfrog Artifactory, and Git.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• 3+ plus years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Tactical Reconnaissance and Strike division at Anduril develops a diverse set of robotic systems. The team is responsible for taking products like Ghost, Anvil, Altius, and Bolt from paper sketches to operational systems. ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for Android Engineers to join our team. As an Android Engineer at Anduril you will be architecting and building out user interface applications from backend to frontend, deploying them to users, and making sure they're meeting users' requirements. You will be working alongside a team of engineers with diverse backgrounds as well as engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Required Qualifications

THE ROLE

This position is on the TRS Core Infrastructure team and will be focused on building the infrastructure to field TRS Products such as Altius, Ghost, Bolt and Anvil. Our charter is to provide the foundation for teams across Anduril to deploy cutting edge TRS autonomy and to tie it all together into an easy-to-use product. The solutions that you will create address the current needs of our customers and will have immediate impact towards the success of our products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, build, test, and release the testing infrastructure used during development & validation of Anduril Products including Software in the Loop (SITL) and Hardware in the Loop (HITL).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Build tools in Python to facilitate development, testing, and release.
• Develop and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

As a Staff Software Engineer - Security , you will take ownership of and enhance the security roadmap for TRS products and software services, working closely with engineering teams to create solutions that not only meet but exceed industry-standard security goals. You will engage with various teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities in designs, implementations, integrations, and processes, while also designing and developing security software for embedded systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering with a focus on platform security, enabling them to conduct complex security architecture reviews, research and mitigate exploits targeting hardware and software, and implement critical features in collaboration with engineering teams to build resilient products.

About the Team

The Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) team at Anduril develops small aerial drones (Group 1-3) along with all the necessary equipment for testing, deployment, and operation. The team transforms products like Ghost, Anvil, Altius, and Bolt from initial concepts into operational systems. We work closely with specialized teams to tackle some of our customers' most complex challenges. Currently, we are seeking a technical operations engineer for the Altius program, where you will leverage your operational and technical expertise to shape and deploy a solution of maximum effectiveness and reliability. Your scope will include standing up forward-deployed operations in austere environments, ensuring the successful combat employment of Anduril products, and shaping the long-term sustainment of these products. In addition, you will be a core participant in customer demonstrations and customer trainings, and test events closer to home.

About the Job

As a member of the Technical Operations team for TRS, you will play a critical role in bridging product engineering and deployed operations. You will be involved in unmanned air vehicle development programs, using your technical and operational expertise to deliver reliable solutions in challenging, remote environments. The Technical Operations team also plays an essential role in shaping the field sustainment of these products through various test and evaluation events, customer demonstrations, and deployments.

• Support military operations by executing flight operations, conducting field maintenance, providing customer field support and training.

What we're looking for in our next teammate

• Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Experience and passion for writing distributed, highly scalable, and available backend systems & APIs using Java.
• Experience in creating and maintaining mobile and web applications with experience in React and/or React Native.
• Knowledge of release process best practices for APIs and services within production systems.
• Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure and technologies, preferably AWS.
• Understanding DevOps concepts such as containers (e.g. Docker), orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Knowledge of testing concepts, test tools, and integrating testing and best practices in the SDLC.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
• Demonstrated abilities driving operational excellence and best practices.

The applicable salary range for this position is $116,000 - 152,250 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
