ABOUT THE JOB

The Senior Manager, Procurement owns both Direct and Indirect procurement, leading a team of high-performing Buyers to directly support the Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Facilities teams through successful negotiations, cradle-to-grave order management, and comprehensive supplier management. As the Procurement lead, this individual will be responsible for managing a team of buyers through the use of key metrics to quantitatively evaluate supplier performance. The role

Role Summary:

The Senior Technical Advisor, Strategic Supply Chain Risk & Warfighting Technology, provides expert operational and technical guidance to support the identification, assessment, and validation of mitigation strategies for risks across defense sustainment and modernization supply chains. Operating at the intersection of industrial base analysis, manufacturing science, operational planning, and Department of War–level acquisition and authorities, this role ensures that proposed mitigations are technically feasible, industrially realistic, and executable under U.S. Government authorities spanning the Departments of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as joint and interagency frameworks.

• Direct, supervise and coordinate all Practical Problem Solving (PPS) operational Quality activities in Single Aisle Flowline in defined area of responsibility. Primary Responsibilities:

1. Lead Team & Act as Delegate: 40%

• Lead and develop Practical Problem Solving (PPS) skills within Operations and Quality Team, ensure that the Practical Problem Solving (PPS) maturity of qualification of personnel is in accordance to the Airbus Qualification requirements. 
• Ensure together with Operations the competence- and qualification management of Operations and Quality Focal Point for the production delegated Inspectors in area of responsibility for Practical Problem Solving (PPS) 
• Ensure that the Aircraft production and the milestone FOT is in compliance with the Quality, cost and lead-time targets of FAL-USA. 
• Ensure that NCs are managed and drumbeat from creation to closure of Practical Problem Solving (PPS) are priority for all within the MFT.

• Define and implement work level processes based on the experience and recommendations from existing FAL operations. Identifies opportunities and implements adaptations for local application of such ideas. 
• Responsible for Continuous Improvement including leading activities and document progress. 
• Fully proficient in AOS and has the ability to own a QPS Brick and implement it into the Station
