As a Lead Technical Writer, your mission is to work with and capture technical artifacts from engineering project teams. You will deliver accurate, updated, and easy-to-understand documentation on material both for internal use and external customer delivery. In this role, you will work closely with engineers and various subject matter experts to understand the lifecycle of complex projects, identify knowledge and information gaps, and use documentation to close the gap. • 3+ years of demonstrated excellence generating technical documentation with a portfolio of work ready to showcase your talent and skills.

Appian is looking for a Technical Proposal Writer, Public Sector to support our U.S. Public Sector sales organization in the coordination, development, and delivery of high-quality technical proposal content. In this role, you will help create product-specific descriptions, solution narratives, technical volumes, and compelling proposal responses that are essential to winning strategic federal contracts.

This role is pivotal to supporting high-value opportunities within Appian’s U.S. Public Sector business. You will partner closely with Sales, Solutions, Product, Delivery, and Subject Matter Expert teams to clearly articulate how the Appian Platform addresses complex mission systems programs and federal customer needs.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the drafting, writing, and editing of complex technical proposal sections, including technical volumes, solution descriptions, past performance citations, and management plans.

The GDS Script Writer’s primary responsibility is to build, modify, simplify and maintain a travel consultant scripting package in the GDS that improves agent efficiency and reduces errors and cost.

• Write GDS scripts, test, debug, document and deploy new and modified code.
• Gather business requirements from key stakeholders related to the implementation or enhancement of any internal applications and processes and translate into a functional Statement of Work.
