Responsibilities

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural repair and maintenance, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

This position is based in our satellite production facility in Midland, TX, with full relocation provided (details below). 

Pay: $36-$42 hour based on experience, with overtime opportunities.

What You'll Do:

• Perform structural assembly, repair and modifications of Telecommunication Satellites, structures or other structures as required to drawing specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals to determine repair and modification requirements.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete tasks accurately.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Field Technician, you’ll use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models. With real-time information at your fingertips, you can determine the root cause and corrective action for each issue quickly, enabling you to work smarter, not harder.

• Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment

• Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably

• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment

• Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed

• Field Mechanic: When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic provides technical support for the safe and efficient operation of terminal and logistics equipment with limited supervision. Duties include but are not limited to maintenance and repair of equipment such as bucket elevators, conveyors, pumps, and control devices. The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Essential Functions

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
