Transportation Design Group Manager

We are searching for an experienced Professional Engineer to lead and grow the transportation design practice in Florida. This position can be based in any of our Florida offices, including Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami, or Tampa. The right candidate will bring enthusiasm and energy to lead our Florida transportation design practice to the next level. Reporting to the Florida Division Manager, a director position at Benesch is an outstanding leadership opportunity with great visibility at the state, regional, and national leadership levels, including the potential for ownership in Benesch.

This position offers an opportunity to lead an existing group of design professionals, starting with a solid backlog of work and existing contracts with FDOT and local agencies throughout Florida. Summary

We’re looking for an Enterprise Account Manager to build and maintain trusted relationships with our largest and most strategic partners. You Should Know

Who You Are

The Project Manager on the Risk & Insurance team is tasked with the end-to-end management of projects that impact our customers and overall team related to Risk & Insurance programs at Justworks. The person in this role will drive cross-functional projects that improve the customer experience on Justworks and keep Customer Success, Sales, and Operations informed on the project details.

The Project Manager is the conduit between the functional team and the rest of the organization: they are expected to understand what each department needs in order to execute initiatives, and to communicate those needs to other members of the project team. They are also expected to advocate for those needs to the project team, to set and manage expectations within each department, and to produce deliverables such as training materials, documentation, presentations, and project updates. • Manage end-to-end projects: Own and lead cross-functional projects for Risk & Insurance, especially those with discreet timing, deadlines, and launch timeframes that affect customers and employees. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in project management and/or operations role, preferably in the PEO or Insurance space and/or a tech-driven environment

• Oversee progress of entire engagement in the preparation of financial statements and consolidation of trial balances. 
• Research complex technical accounting topics, identify relevant guidance, and corresponding SEC rules and regulations. 
• Begin to write basic technical accounting memos. 
• Knowledge sharing with the staff and seniors to develop more in-depth knowledge of preparation and review of financial statements and consolidation of trial balances. 
• Establish an in-depth understanding of how to assess the accuracy of complex financial statement areas such as SOCF, Equity, and EPS and identity disclosures which are inaccurate/incomplete 
• Identify more complex scope problems that may arise within the engagement, as well as opportunities for ancillary service offerings. Bring them to the attention of the engagement director. 
• Lead all client calls, manage project status with managers and staff. Develop project plans and accurate completion of project plans at the deliverable level. 
• Responsible for understanding engagement economics, leveraging the team appropriately, monitoring margin, scheduling, invoicing, etc.
