The role of Senior Employee Listening Manager has a critical role to play in the next phase of MongoDB's growth. You will continue to evolve our global employee listening strategy, tooling, analytics, and action planning process (for managers and for the enterprise) that scales with our organization’s continued growth, and ensure our culture is measured and reflected in our listening strategy. We are seeking a Mid-Level Avionic Software Engineer with hands-on experience developing safety-critical aerospace software in accordance with DO-178 standards, typically at Design Assurance Level (DAL) A or B. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience and is comfortable contributing across the software lifecycle, from requirements and implementation to integration and verification, within a highly regulated engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design, development, implementation, and verification of embedded avionic software in compliance with DO-178C (DAL A or B).
Implement and optimize software components and algorithms for constrained, real-time embedded environments.
Support system integration activities by collaborating with systems, hardware, and test engineering teams.
Participate in defining software architecture and interface requirements, ensuring traceability and adherence to aerospace standards.
Perform and participate in formal design and code reviews to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Assist with hardware bring-up, low-level debugging, and troubleshooting using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
Work with embedded communication protocols (e.g., CAN, SPI, I2C, ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553) to ensure reliable system interactions.
Qualifications;
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
5–8 years of experience in embedded software development within aerospace or other safety-critical industries.
Direct experience working with DO-178C development, verification, and certification processes (DAL A or B strongly preferred).
Proficiency in C and/or C++, with familiarity in Python or other scripting languages for test or automation tasks.
Solid understanding of embedded systems design, RTOS concepts, timing constraints, and low-level hardware interfaces.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000

About the Role
The Senior Director of Commercial Consulting Enablement is a senior commercial role that bridges our highly trained field sales organization and our consulting delivery teams. Approximately 70% of your time will be spent directly pursuing and closing complex, multi-service consulting engagements alongside field sellers. The remaining 30% will focus on enabling others: building playbooks, coaching sellers on discovery and qualification, developing pricing frameworks, and creating the tools and processes that make cross-selling consulting services systematic rather than opportunistic.
