To deliver each full exercise cycle the JWC relies heavily on an Exercise Control (EXCON) structure. EXCON staff members are drawn from several backgrounds and units including JWC staff, NATO component commands, Training Audience (TA) Headquarters, Partner Nations and other augmenters’ positions. EXCON has both direction and control functions which allow it to establish the conditions needed by the TA to achieve the exercise aim and objectives. EXCON size and structure is flexible and is shaped to the requirement of each phase of exercise delivery. When it is not possible to fill a position from military sources, the JWC has the option to source a contractor to fill a position. Not all contracted positions are required for each phase of each exercise.

INTEL creates the situational awareness for EXCON on intelligence matters and provides TAs with a RFI process and an array of resources to maximize training value.

Role Background
Opposition Force (OPFOR) SMEs simulate, coordinate and arrange all opposing actors during exercise execution. OPFOR SMEs ensure that OPFOR force composition, Joint Plan and Scheme of Manoeuvre are realistic and additionally mimic anticipated actions of an opposing force. OPFOR SMEs directly coordinate OPFOR concepts of operations to challenge allied-partner nation actions (BLUFOR) and associated major maritime, air and land formations, campaigns and decision making. OPFOR cells sit side-by-side with other functional areas in the scripting of content, to include JEMM and as required during execution, coordinate with EXCON RCs, to edit and adjust content to help guarantee maximum training value and pathway to achieve exercise-training objectives (TOs). OPFOR needs to ensure they understand BLUFOR plans and act accordingly and be prepared to dynamically scrip.

Nussir, located in Repparfjord, has surpassed 1000 metres into the underground mine tunnel, and construction has commenced on the site infrastructure. NSG currently has a geological exploration program underway.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading all HR functions for the company’s Norwegian operations, supporting project development and operational phases. The Product Manager, will have a proven track record in driving product roadmaps, balancing strategic priorities with customer needs and business impact. The role will be collaborating with our Product Team working with talented designers and product managers to create great user experiences. You will bring the product vision to life through clear and concise issue descriptions, agile backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and seamless cooperation with design, QA, and developers. The team you will be joining consists of passionate, talented, and creative people looking to revolutionize the way rich content like videos, games, and simulations are created and experienced in the future.
To effectively prioritize and create actionable issues, you will gather insights through interviews, surveys, market research, and collaboration with stakeholders. Success in this role requires curiosity, quick learning, and the ability to apply new technologies and insights to address customer challenges. Creativity and an innovative mindset, combined with a data-driven approach, are essential for delivering impactful solutions.
