We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Waste / Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) Operations & Maintenance Technician Intern to support the operation and maintenance of critical water and wastewater systems within a semiconductor or mission-critical facility.

This role provides hands-on experience with advanced UPW generation, distribution, and wastewater treatment systems, while working alongside experienced technicians and engineers in a highly regulated, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily operations of UPW generation and distribution systems, including reverse osmosis (RO), electrodeionization (EDI), ion exchange, degasification, UV oxidation, and sub-micron filtration systems under supervision.
• Assist in operating and monitoring wastewater treatment systems, including neutralization systems, pH adjustment, chemical dosing, lift stations, equalization tanks, and biological processes (e.g., MBR/BNR where applicable).
• Perform routine rounds and system readings; record key parameters such as conductivity, resistivity, TOC, pH, flow rates, pressures, and tank levels, and escalate abnormal conditions.
• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, filters, membranes, mixers, blowers, and chemical delivery systems.
• Support water quality monitoring and sampling activities to ensure compliance with process requirements and environmental discharge permits.
• Assist with chemical handling and dosing operations (acids, caustics, and treatment chemicals) in accordance with site safety procedures and SDS requirements.
• Support system flushing, regeneration, and sanitization of UPW systems, including resin beds, RO skids, and distribution loops.
• Assist in troubleshooting system issues such as membrane fouling, scaling, flow restrictions, pump failures, and instrumentation inaccuracies.
• Learn and apply safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO), hazardous chemical handling, and confined space entry.
• Support startup and shutdown activities for UPW and wastewater systems, ensuring controlled and compliant operation.
• Assist in maintaining accurate CMMS documentation (e.g., Maximo), including work orders, calibration records, and maintenance logs.
• Observe and support vendor activities such as membrane cleaning, media replacement, and system performance testing.
• Participate in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, compliance, and water conservation.
• Develop an understanding of semiconductor water quality standards, contamination risks, and the critical nature of UPW systems for manufacturing operations.

Skills Required:

• Exposure to semiconductor, data center, pharmaceutical, or other mission-critical environments
• Basic knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes (not required)
• Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., Maximo) is a plus
• Enrollment in or recent completion of a technical program (mechanical, environmental, or related field)
• Mechanically inclined with a strong interest in hands-on technical work
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems (pumps, piping, valves, etc.)

The Visual Lead is responsible for achieving store sales & maximizing profitability through Visual Merchandising in partnership with the Visual Manager. OVERVIEW

The Operations and Visual Manager is a member of the store leadership team who deals with ALO’s operational and visual strategy in the store. This individual is passionate about inventory management, labor planning and scheduling, and visual execution – all with a lens on driving an efficient and effective store operation. This role’s north star is pointed at ensuring that the store is customer-ready at all times. Duties require constant movement in and around the store, including the sales floor and back of house. We are seeking an experienced Operations Support Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages daily tasks required to perform ongoing support of design, construction, startup and/or operations/ maintenance activities of complex high hazard systems or projects.
• Renders expert opinions towards Radiation Protection and technical issues, provides recommendations to project design, work control, and construction teams in specific areas of expertise.
• Provides independent reviews and assessments in areas of specialized expertise and provides guidance to project teams in delivering results on projects of complex, high- technology nature.
• Interfaces with management personnel and customer representatives. Develops and enforces work standards, assigns schedules, reviews work quality, communicates goals, objectives, and policies of the organization to subordinates.
• Provides leadership for the project team, coordinates with the functional organizations, and supervises senior personnel within the project organization. US Nuclear Navy experience, DOE Plutonium facility experience, and strong conduct of operations knowledge highly desired.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to Radiation Protection.
• Requires eight (8) years of relevant experience, five (5 years) of directly applicable experience in Radiation Protection and/or work planning in a DOE Cat 2 nuclear facility.

• Own, manage, and expand relationships with hospitals and major health systems to continue to drive growth 
• Identify trends in local hospitals and health systems and synthesize findings into strategic opportunities

The total target base compensation for this role will be between $70,000 and $93,000 per year at the commencement of employment. In addition to base compensation, this role offers a target performance-based bonus. Charlie Health is looking for a dynamic individual to serve as Clinical Admissions Therapist. The Clinical Admissions Therapist will be responsible for meeting with clients upon admission, building rapport, completing biopsychosocial assessments, and establishing treatment needs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate personable and competent communication skills to develop rapport with clients and referral sources
• Present programming information in a thorough and supportive manner to help clients gain access to care
• Complete virtual biopsychosocial assessments for a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults with various mental health concerns 
• Determine appropriateness and fit for virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) level of care 
• Construct provisional mental health diagnoses utilizing DSM-V criteria 
• Document client information in accordance with regulatory standards using electronic medical record  
• Assign treatment team members and group schedules while informing staff of new admissions
• Interface with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams in facilitating intake  
• Collaborate with referral sources: hospitals, treatment centers, psychiatrists, therapists, and other behavioral health providers upon admission
• Looking to cover the following shifts to meet the schedules and needs of our clients:
  • Mornings and Afternoons - Must be available 11am - 7pm MT
  • Afternoons and Evenings - Must be available 12pm - 8pm MT
  • Weekends encouraged
  • Will consider alternative availability on individual basis

In this role, you will work within an engineering team to design, construct, commission, and optimize performance of the process equipment necessary for TRISO particle fabrication. You will also work cross-functionally with facility operations, facility engineers, quality assurance, and environmental, health and safety (EHS) to enable supporting functions.

Responsibilities

• Interpret process engineering information communicated via Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), including heat and material balances, process envelopes, and their integration into mechanical designs.
• Develop equipment specifications and size equipment such as tanks, vessels, valves, lines, and pumps based on process needs.
• Prepare equipment lists and data sheets for equipment.
• Develop and/or approve manufacturing drawings for custom-designed equipment.

Kairos Power is seeking a highly motivated Instrumentation, Controls and Electrical (IC&E) Engineer with expertise in the development and implementation of instrumentation and control systems for chemical and physical processes to support the Kairos Power fuels program. In this role, you will work within a process and mechanical engineering team to facilitate design, construct, commission, and optimize process equipment and automation systems necessary for TRISO particle fabrication. You will also work cross-functionally with facility operations, facility engineers, quality assurance, and environmental, health & safety (EHS) to enable supporting functions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing/coordinating maintenance on boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems and experience working with R&D test equipment, manufacturing equipment, and other commercial building systems including Building Management Systems (BMS), fire protection, fire alarms, access control, security cameras, and security alarms.

The Inventory Management System (IMS) team is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Engineer to join our efforts in designing, building, and commissioning high-temperature skids for molten salt systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in process, chemical, and mechanical engineering, with the ability to apply these skills to high-temperature design challenges. 

 In this role, you will contribute to the development of critical process systems for the Hermes reactor, our first-of-a-kind low-power nuclear demonstration reactor. As a key member of the IMS team, you will assist in designing, commissioning, and operating components to manage and control the reactor’s molten salt coolant inventory. The position requires an aptitude for chemical engineering, systems integration, and industrial or pilot-scale system deployment. You will collaborate closely with mechanical design, plant layout, piping, instrumentation, and operations teams to integrate and optimize these systems. 

Responsibilities  

• Support design of high temperature piping loops, vessels, heaters, and instruments to manage the Hermes molten salt coolant inventory.
• Perform engineering calculations to support defining hydraulic, thermal, or other design parameters such as pipe size, required pump head, heat loss, hydraulic losses in a pipe loop, etc.
• Lead the design and construction of test platforms, including component prototypes, scaled system demonstrations, and engineering studies to inform IMS system design and performance.

Kairos Power is seeking a highly motivated Senior Electron Beam Welding Engineer that will be responsible for in-house electron beam welding (EBW) capability development and technology maturation. In this role, you will work on the Welding Development team to assist in the advancement and implementation of welding and manufacturing capabilities. The candidate will partner with design, testing, materials, modeling & simulation, and reliability engineers to develop weld joint design, weld techniques, weld specifications, and inspection methods needed for welded KP-FHR and test platform assemblies.

Responsibilities

Procedure Development & Qualification

• Design, develop, and maintain EBW procedures and supporting documentation (WPS/PQR) to meet material, joint, and quality requirements in compliance with applicable codes, standards (e.g., AWS, ASME, API), and regulatory expectations.
• Develop and execute weld qualification plans, including test coupons and validation trials, in coordination with quality and materials teams
• Anticipate future welding needs by aligning EBW procedures and qualification strategies with evolving product designs, manufacturing processes, and regulatory demands.

Quality Assurance & Process Optimization

• Oversee and review EBW inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and applicable quality standards.
• Analyze weld test data to identify trends, determine root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions to enhance welding performance and reliability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize EBW processes, increase efficiency, reduce cost, and maintain high-quality output.

Collaboration & Training

In this role, you will contribute to the development and deployment of the company’s engineering testing capabilities including assembly, maintenance and operation of large-scale hardware and equipment. This role will require the individual to start and work on-site in Albuquerque, NM for approximately 2 years in preparation for our operation in Oak Ridge, TN. Long-term, this individual may have the opportunity to transition and support operations on-site at our facility in Oak Ridge, TN. The ideal candidate takes pride in his/her hands-on work, organizational skills, has experience in 24/7 plant or large-scale testing operations, and will ultimately contribute to the training and transfer of knowledge/key learnings between operators at each location.

Responsibilities 

• Assembles and installs process and auxiliary equipment into assigned facilities. Frequently uses heavy equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, and overhead hoists to support installation. 
• Commissions, operates, and maintains mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Prepares, reviews and executes system and component level commissioning, operating and maintenance procedures.
• Performs acceptance testing following new equipment installation including hydrostatic, pneumatic, I/O checks, and electrical component calibrations checks.
• Supports day-to-day operations of the assigned facility including startup, monitor, and shutdown processes and auxiliary equipment.
• Performs chemistry sampling and analysis using standardized analytical instruments and procedures.
