Job Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure and production experience with at least two major cloud providers, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP;
• Strong experience with cloud networking, IAM, compute, IaaS/PaaS services, and Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, including conditional access, workload identity federation, SAML/SCIM, and service principal governance;
• Proven expertise in IaC using Terraform and/or Bicep, including governed landing zones, module registries, and cloud infrastructure migration;
• Hands-on experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools, including pipeline-as-code, security scanning, and deployment gates;

You will play a crucial role in ensuring our on-site technical facilities operate smoothly while coordinating resource usage and providing hands-on support to remote engineering teams.

These engineers will gain a deep understanding of our physical infrastructure and technical facilities, enabling them to effectively install, configure, and maintain critical systems when needed. About the role:

As the Senior Facilities Engineer, you will be the primary technical bridge
between our fusion demonstration system design team and the facility
infrastructure. This is a high-impact role responsible for the integration of
complex mechanical and electrical systems that power and support our fusion
demonstration system. You will manage the interface where cutting-edge

Kairos Power is seeking a highly motivated Regulatory Compliance Engineer III with a background in nuclear operations. The Inventory Management System (IMS) team is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Engineer to join our efforts in designing, building, and commissioning high-temperature skids for molten salt systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in process, chemical, and mechanical engineering, with the ability to apply these skills to high-temperature design challenges. 

 In this role, you will contribute to the development of critical process systems for the Hermes reactor, our first-of-a-kind low-power nuclear demonstration reactor. As a key member of the IMS team, you will assist in designing, commissioning, and operating components to manage and control the reactor’s molten salt coolant inventory. The position requires an aptitude for chemical engineering, systems integration, and industrial or pilot-scale system deployment. You will collaborate closely with mechanical design, plant layout, piping, instrumentation, and operations teams to integrate and optimize these systems. 

Responsibilities  

• Support design of high temperature piping loops, vessels, heaters, and instruments to manage the Hermes molten salt coolant inventory.
• Perform engineering calculations to support defining hydraulic, thermal, or other design parameters such as pipe size, required pump head, heat loss, hydraulic losses in a pipe loop, etc.
• Lead the design and construction of test platforms, including component prototypes, scaled system demonstrations, and engineering studies to inform IMS system design and performance.
