Product Vision & Architecture (The "Ratified R0")

• Drive the Roadmap: Act as a primary stakeholder for Okta’s product teams. Translate your real-world experience securing agents into prioritized feature requests and product requirements.
• Target State: Define a multi-year roadmap for Non-Human Identities (NHIs) and AI Agents aligned with Zero Trust (NIST 800-207) and Okta’s Secure Identity Commitment.
• Posture First: Use ISPM (Identity Security Posture Management) to discover unmanaged AI agents and eliminate "Identity Debt" across the enterprise.

Cross-App Access & Brokered Delegation

• Agent-to-App Connectivity: Architect secure Cross-App Access patterns where agents act as intermediaries between enterprise systems.
• Delegated Authority: Refine how user identity is "brokered" to an agent (e.g. OAuth2 Token Exchange), ensuring the agent never has more power than the human user who triggered it.
• Session Scoping: Implement context-bound, short-lived tokens to prevent lateral movement by a compromised agent.

Okta Customer Zero -- Validate and publish patterns using Okta primitives to secure the AI lifecycle for:

• Okta Identity Engine & Auth0: Define how AI agents prove their identity within AuthN/AuthZ core concepts, implementing rigorous protocols for secure access delegation like OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, and SPIFFE/SPIRE for workload attestation.
• Okta Privilege Access: Implement JIT/JEA access and ephemeral, vaulted secrets for agent tool-use.
• Okta Identity Governance & Workflows: Automate the Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) lifecycle for agents, including automated certification and revocation.
• Fine-Grained Authorization: Implement ReBAC for intent-bound decisions (e.g., "Can this agent access the Finance API on behalf of the CFO?").
• Serve as "Customer Zero" by architecting and stress-testing internal AI security frameworks, translating real-world deployment lessons into a continuous stream of public-facing white papers, blogs, and technical guides to steer industry best practices.

AI Ecosystem & Tech Stack Integration -- Define how Okta identity is woven into modern AI orchestration layers:

• Orchestration: Secure identity patterns such as  LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGPT, CrewAI, LlamaIndex, and Semantic Kernel.
• Architect secure connectivity to AI model providers such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI API, and Anthropic.

What you’ll bring to the role

• The "Been There" Factor: Proven track record of securing AI agents and non-human identities in a production environment. You have a deep understanding of the "identity gaps" in current AI frameworks.
• Experience: 7+ years in IAM/Security Architecture; proven strategy work across workforce, customer, and Non-Human Identities (NHIs).
• Deep knowledge of the core protocols OAuth2/OIDC (especially Token Exchange), SAML, mTLS, JWT, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Hands-on experience with Modern Identity framework SPIFFE/SPIRE.

What's the opportunity? 

We’re hiring an Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to lead our global AP operations, manage and develop the AP team, and drive continuous improvement across systems, policies, and workflows. You’ll oversee daily operations, monthly/quarterly close activities, and compliance, while partnering closely with Procurement, FP&A, Tax, and the broader Accounting team to scale a high-integrity, efficient AP function. You’ll also lead projects that enhance AP tools and processes to improve accuracy, cycle times, and stakeholder experience.

What will I be doing? 

• Lead day-to-day P2P operations in Zip (inbox approvals, holds management, NetSuite exports, mentions), and own weekly and ad‑hoc payment runs, including pre-run approval chases and payment account troubleshooting.
• Oversee invoice processing quality and timeliness; ensure proper coding, PO application, period alignment, and approver routing; escalate blockers and drive on-time payments.
• Administer travel and expense policy in Expensify, including managing the reimbursement process, the corporate card program (applications, submissions, limit changes, deactivations), system syncs, and drive employee compliance and funding sufficiency for T&E cards.
• Administer the Navan travel program, coordinating with stakeholders to maintain data hygiene and policy alignment.
• Own banking-related AP workflows: monthly bank transaction allocations across US/AU/UK/IE entities, account funding and wires, and Airwallex wallet funding cadence and controls.
• Drive AP close each month: execute the day-of-close checklist; reconcile AP subledgers (Zip) to the balance sheet (NetSuite) and prepare flux/variance analysis; coordinate accruals and missing billing strings; investigate aging and reconciling items and ensure documentation and sign-offs are completed on time.
• Oversee statutory and regulatory deliverables connected to AP, including Form 1099 filings, and support VAT/GST compliance steps with the Tax team as needed.
• Monitor and report AP performance metrics (e.g., DPO), and prepare monthly charts and updates for leadership; identify levers to improve working capital while maintaining vendor relationships.
• Ensure policy/process documentation is current (AP playbook, SOPs/DTPs, travel and expense policy, company guides); build cross-training coverage and maintain clear ownership across the team.
• Proactively manage high-volume stakeholder communications across Slack and email; drive resolution on exceptions, reconfigurations, and coding change requests in coordination with GL and Procurement.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across AP tools and processes to streamline throughput, enhance controls, and improve stakeholder experience.

What skills do I need? 

• 6+ years of progressive AP experience, including 2+ years managing or leading an AP team in a global, multi-entity environment; strong command of P2P workflows and period close requirements.
• Demonstrated experience with AP systems and ecosystem tools such as Zip, NetSuite, Expensify, and Navan; ability to translate business requirements into scalable processes.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and SOX-aligned process design; hands-on with 1099 reporting and year-end cycles; strong reconciliation and variance analysis skills.
• Proven ability to manage payment runs end-to-end, drive timely approvals, and troubleshoot exceptions (e.g., supplier information or payment account), while meeting SLAs for on-time, accurate payments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable partnering with Procurement, Tax, FP&A, Accounting, and Enterprise Systems to improve workflows and data quality.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build the core Machine Learning foundations that power Nova’s agentic experiences. This role focuses on applied Machine Learning in production environments: retrieval systems, evaluation frameworks, and model integration layers that make AI features reliable, scalable, and repeatable. You will design and implement the underlying components that support rich, intelligent interactions in the Iterable platform.

You will work closely with backend, frontend, and product teams to shape how Machine Learning is introduced and maintained across the company. The work blends hands-on engineering with system design, and is ideal for someone who can drive complex efforts independently, make practical architectural decisions, and collaborate in a fast-moving, cross-functional product environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build Machine Learning platform components that support agentic systems, including retrieval pipelines, indexing strategies, and model integration layers.
• Introduce and operationalize RAG use cases, from data sourcing and embedding generation to runtime retrieval patterns.
• Develop generalized evaluation frameworks for LLM- and agent-based features, including offline metrics, golden datasets, and continuous monitoring.
• Implement abstractions, tooling, and reusable patterns that enable other teams to build ML- and LLM-powered experiences efficiently.
• Partner with backend engineers to productionize ML features with strong reliability, observability, and performance characteristics.
• Prototype applied ML solutions to validate feasibility before investing in full builds.
