GEO & SEO Manager (Contractor – Internal / Content & Owned Properties)
We are a PR/digital/marketing agency seeking an GEO & SEO Manager (Contractor) to lead and execute search strategy across our agency’s owned digital ecosystem, including our website, content platforms, and other owned properties.
This is an internal, individual contributor contract role focused on building and optimizing our company’s visibility across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search environments (GEO). The role also functions as a Content Editor, ensuring all published content is structured, optimized, and aligned to search performance goals.
This position sits at the intersection of AI search optimization, technical SEO, and content strategy. Success in this role comes from the ability to own execution end-to-end—turning content into a scalable discoverability engine that drives qualified traffic and strengthens authority across search and AI-generated results.
This is not a managerial role. It is a hands-on, execution-heavy position for someone who can operate independently and move quickly.

Environmental Science Associates (ESA) is a 100% employee-owned environmental consulting firm. We plan, design, permit, mitigate, and restore for projects across our communities, infrastructure systems, open spaces, and wildlands. We are 50 years strong in 21 offices across California, the Pacific Northwest, and the Southeastern United States.
ESA is excited to announce our Florida Environmental Internship - Fall 2026 program. Our Florida internship program will run for approximately four months, starting in August 2026. This variable part-time paid opportunity offers 12 to 24 hours per week. Our summer internship program is intended to promote diversity in the environmental, engineering, and planning fields by creating opportunities for students from groups historically under-represented in this business sector, including but not limited to those students who represent Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), as well as veterans, disabled individuals, and/or students who are first in their families to go to college.

Some internship responsibilities require you to have the ability to work in a wide variety of field conditions (weather, terrain, etc.), walk long distances carrying a backpack, safely operate, load and transport equipment and gear, and cross fences, creeks, and other obstacles. You may also be required to have a valid driver’s license and be able to work some nights and/or weekends.
You enjoy fieldwork and can walk long distances carrying a backpack; and are able to lift at least 40 pounds. ESA seeks a highly motivated Coastal Engineer to join our team of engineers and scientists in the Southeast region. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic team member with 2+ years of work experience, a passion for coastal processes and restoration, and the desire to learn and grow. This is a full-time and exempt role with office and field work expected. Strong preference given to candidates within a 1-hour commutable distance to one of these ESA Office locations: Tampa or Boynton Beach. Qualified candidates within a 1-hr commutable distance to other ESA offices including Sarasota, Orlando, & Pensacola will also be considered. This role will involve some travel and field work as needed for in-person team collaborations and site visits as-needed. This is an in-office role, with the potential for hybrid flexibility with proven performance and supervisor approval.

Environmental Science Associates (ESA) is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to support the planning, permitting, and delivery of natural gas transmission and midstream infrastructure projects. This role will contribute to a diverse portfolio that includes interstate and intrastate pipelines, compressor and meter stations, modernization and integrity management programs, and renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities.
In this role, you will lead natural gas transmission projects through all phases, including routing, environmental studies, permitting, landowner coordination, construction compliance, and closeout. You will collaborate with engineers, scientists, agency partners, and land services teams to ensure projects move forward efficiently and responsibly.
We are seeking candidates with 10+ years of experience and a degree in environmental management, engineering, planning, project management, or a related field. A strong foundation in federal, state, and local permitting frameworks—including FERC and NEPA—is essential.
As part of ESA’s collaborative, mission‑driven team, you will help advance safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible energy infrastructure.
