About The Role: 

• We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer who wants real ownership in a fast-moving environment. 
• You'll help design, build, deploy, and operate the software that runs Urban Sky's manufacturing operation—a full-stack MRP system that tracks inventory, work orders, bills of materials, quality holds, and serialized parts from receiving through final integration. It's the operational backbone of how we actually build balloons. Because the company is growing quickly, the scope of the role will evolve over time, and you'll have meaningful influence over what we build next and how we build it. 
• You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the people using the software every day—manufacturing technicians, logistics coordinators, quality inspectors, and finance. There's no product manager between you and them. You'll learn how parts flow through the building, what makes a quarantine workflow painful at 3pm on a Friday, and how a missed traceability record turns into a compliance problem. Translating messy physical processes into clean software is most of the job. 
• The interfaces you build are for operators, not consumers. A shop-floor tech holding a tablet, scanning a barcode, working through a multi-step assembly procedure—that's your user. Touch targets, scanner integration, and drag-and-drop work instructions matter more than landing-page polish. 
• We operate in an aerospace-regulated environment (AS9100). Every mutation needs an audit trail. Serialized parts need end-to-end traceability. "Move fast and break things" doesn't apply to production data. We still move fast—but with the discipline that comes from knowing a corrupted record can ground a flight. 
• You don't need prior MRP or manufacturing experience. You do need to be excited—or at least not intimidated—by learning a complex business domain alongside the code.

• Our overall software team is roughly 7 people, and this team will be just 2 people, everyone works across the stack. That's not aspirational—it's required. A small team with real ownership only works if everyone can contribute quickly and adapt as the company and product evolve.

We are seeking a talented Chief Building Engineer to join our property management team for a 930,000 square-foot Class A high-rise commercial property in Denver, Colorado.

The Chief Building Engineer acts as a lead team member for the assigned property(s), taking initiative with the highest level of professionalism, meeting the tenants’ needs, and having a commitment to achieving the goal of 100% uptime throughout the Engineering Team. The Chief Building Engineer is responsible for the operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety equipment and systems. The Chief Building Engineer directs, trains, and supports Building Engineers in their role of providing hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operations.

Essential Responsibilities:

Budget

• In conjunction with property management team, develop, implement, and maintain annual repair & maintenance budget and long-range capital improvement plans.
• Work with the design team to develop safe, efficient, and effective projects that are within budget.
• Evaluate all costs associated with each project including materials, labor, and schedule.

Operations

• Oversee the operational aspects of the property in a manner that protects, maintains, and improves the value of the asset.
• Conduct regular evaluations of asset for property needs and recommends improvements as required.
• Develop and implement proactive strategies to resolve property operational and compliance-related challenges.
• Create, document, and implement ongoing preventive maintenance/repair programs with systems in place to record PM efforts.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and integrity of all areas of buildings (interior and exterior), systems, and equipment for all property users.
• Oversee the condition and preventive maintenance programs of key asset systems; HVAC and duct systems, fire protection/sprinkler systems, plumbing - sewer mains/clean out drains/structural building plumbing/sump pumps, vertical transportation, electrical equipment, etc.
• Perform regular site inspections to assess physical property condition, compliance and overall administration.
• Oversee the completion of annual building systems inspection/testing, maintenance (ITM) requirements.

Tenant Relations

• Work cooperatively with property management team to expedite the completion of landlord work, delivery of spaces to tenants and the opening of tenants for business.
• Maintain a helpful, courteous, and professional relationship with the tenants and their staff, using diplomacy in dealing with difficult tenants. Ensure the Engineering staff does the same.
• Ensure expeditious completion of all tenant maintenance requests and track accordingly.
• Ensure that tenants comply with lease requirements regarding preventive and ongoing maintenance (pest control, HVAC, exhaust/duct/hood cleaning, window cleaning, fire extinguishers, etc.)

Vendor and Capital Project Management

• Select contracted services by developing scopes of work, requesting bids, monitor performance per scopes of work and contractual agreements.
• Work to ensure projects stay on budget and within the projected time schedule.
• Monitor performance and take necessary action to ensure service providers meet or exceed expectations (security, landscaping, janitorial, etc.)
• Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable building, city/county and safety codes and regulations.

Staff Supervision and Motivation

• Effectively manage engineering team to include activities such as assigning work, providing supervision and direction as needed.
• Reinforce monthly staffing schedules, ensuring 24/7 emergency coverage.
• Manage ongoing staff development efforts and skill building/learning initiatives.

Qualifications:

Public Safety Technology & Systems Expertise

YOUR MISSION

As a Mechanical Engineer (I-II) at True Anomaly, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing the next generation of spacecraft that define the future of space security and sustainability. From LEO/GEO satellites to small sat platforms and on-orbit servicing vehicles, you will own the mechanical design of flight systems that operate in some of the most demanding environments known to engineering. RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Manager of Space Based Interceptor & Hypersonic Mechanical Engineering to build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of 6–10 mechanical engineers working across our interceptor, kill vehicle, and hypersonic flight vehicle programs. This is a people leadership role that also maintains your connection to the work through executing scope. In partnership with other mangers you will co-own organizational health, department best practices, standard processes, requirements, technical direction, hiring, and career development for a team spanning entry-level through staff engineers designing and developing flight hardware that must perform flawlessly in extreme thermal, aerodynamic, and high-g environments. You will partner closely with systems engineering, program management, aerodynamics, thermal, GN&C, and propulsion teams to ensure the mechanical engineering function delivers flight-ready hardware with speed, precision, and quality across all active programs. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build, lead, and develop a team of 6–10 Mechanical Engineers across interceptor, kill vehicle, and hypersonic flight vehicle programs at the GravityWorks facility. 
• Own all people management responsibilities: hiring, onboarding, performance management, compensation reviews, career development planning, and succession planning; partner with recruiting to define roles, calibrate experience levels, and close top engineering talent.

• Establish design review cadence, perform technical checker duties on high-criticality deliverables, and ensure quality and completeness of the team's mechanical design packages; chair or oversee formal vehicle design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR) and drive closure of technical risks, RFIs, and action items.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; graduate degree strongly preferred. 
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in mechanical design, with the majority spent on missile defense, hypersonic vehicle, or high-performance flight system programs; at least 3 years in a formal people management role or equivalent experience leading, mentoring, and technically directing a team of engineers; demonstrated success hiring, developing, and retaining engineering talent across multiple experience levels (entry through staff). 
• Clear understanding of product life cycles and program execution; proven track record managing a complex mechanical design portfolio across multiple concurrent flight vehicle programs from concept through test or flight certification, including ownership of technical risk, schedule, and cross-subsystem integration. 
• Demonstrated expertise in flight vehicle structural design for high-dynamic-pressure, thermally coupled, and high-g flight environments; extensive hands-on experience with GN&C hardware and seeker packaging architecture, including precision optical or RF sensor integration, vibration isolation, and EMI management within kill vehicle or interceptor envelopes. 
• Deep experience with TPS design and high-temperature materials — ablative, ceramic, and composite systems — and ownership of TPS qualification approaches for hypersonic or re-entry applications; proven experience leading mechanical integration of propulsion subsystems including solid rocket motor interfaces, DACS packaging, and TVC structural design.

We are seeking a rare combination of disciplines: an experienced Sr. Compliance Engineer with deep AI Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and export compliance background to join our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. This role is responsible for building, implementing, and sustaining the organizational compliance posture across key regulatory and security frameworks — with a primary emphasis on RMF (NIST 800-53 Rev. 5 + Classified Overlays), CMMC Level 3, NIST 800-171 Rev. 3, EAR/ITAR cyber regulations, and — critically - the governance, risk management, and compliance controls surrounding AI/ML systems and large language models (LLMs) deployed across the enterprise. 

As AI becomes embedded in True Anomaly's operations, mission systems, and products, this role serves as the organizational authority on how AI capabilities are adopted, audited, and controlled responsibly. You will architect and operationalize compliance checkpoints and governance gates within LLM pipelines, evaluate AI vendors and platforms (including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and others) against classified and unclassified compliance requirements, and ensure AI-driven workflows satisfy both regulatory obligations and internal risk tolerance. 

The ideal candidate brings deep GRC knowledge, hands-on AI/LLM engineering fluency, and the ability to engage credibly with compliance assessors, government partners, and internal AI/ML engineering teams alike. 

Responsibilities 

Compliance Program Execution 

• Lead and support compliance assessment readiness across key organizational frameworks including NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 2 and 3, CMMC Level 3, NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).

• Serve as the organizational AI compliance SME — the primary authority on how AI/LLM systems (including OpenAI GPT models, Anthropic Claude, open-source models, and internally developed models) are evaluated, onboarded, and continuously governed within True Anomaly's compliance boundaries. 

• Design, implement, and maintain compliance checkpoints and enforcement gates within LLM pipelines, including:  

• Input/output filtering and content policy enforcement layers 

• Prompt injection detection and mitigation controls 

• Data classification guardrails to prevent CUI, ITAR-controlled, or classified data from flowing into non-authorized AI systems or endpoints

• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and DevSecOps teams to integrate compliance gates into CI/CD pipelines and MLOps workflows, ensuring model changes and prompt changes undergo review before production deployment. 

• Maintain an AI system inventory, tracking all deployed models, APIs, integrations, and associated risk and compliance status. 

• Monitor emerging AI regulatory developments (e.g., EO 14110, NIST AI RMF, DoD AI Ethics Principles, EU AI Act implications for U.S. defense partners) and assess organizational impact. 

Cross-Functional Compliance Enablement 

• Serve as a primary GRC team resource for compliance questions, control guidance, and framework interpretation across engineering, IT, operations, legal, and security teams. 

• Partner with IT and security operations teams to verify that technical controls — including access management, logging, configuration baselines, and incident response procedures — meet CMMC and NIST requirements at an organizational level. 

• Partner with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and product teams to embed compliance thinking into AI system design, model selection, and deployment architecture. 

• Collaborate with the Enterprise Risk Manager and broader GRC leadership to ensure compliance findings — including AI-specific risks — are reflected in the enterprise risk register and remediation priorities.

Qualifications 

• 7+ years of experience in IT security compliance, GRC, or a closely related discipline, with direct ownership of compliance program activities. 

• Demonstrated expertise in NIST SP 800-171, CMMC (Level 2 or 3), and NIST SP 800-53, with hands-on experience conducting gap assessments, implementing controls, and preparing organizations for external audits. 

• Extensive, hands-on experience with AI/LLM systems, including practical knowledge of platforms such as OpenAI (GPT-4/o-series), Anthropic Claude, Meta Llama, Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, and/or comparable commercial and open-source LLM ecosystems.

We are hiring an AI Training & Enablement Lead to drive firm-wide adoption of our AI platform and agentic tools. In this role, you are responsible for end-to-end execution, not just strategy. You will design, create, and deliver the training programs, enablement materials, release communications, and change management plans that help 700+ consultants integrate AI into their daily work. 

You will own the full lifecycle of user enablement: from onboarding new users, to managing release rollouts, to measuring adoption and identifying friction points. You’ll have access to support resources, while playing a leading role in building and delivering impactful solutions.

Training Program Design & Delivery

About The Role: 

Urban Sky is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to own the design, development, and fielding of advanced electro-optical imaging systems aboard our stratospheric balloon platforms. Our payloads operate in one of the harshest environments on Earth. They must survive temperature extremes, near-vacuum pressures, and high shock loads while delivering precision performance. This engineer will design systems that integrate optics (both custom and off-the-shelf), sensors, edge compute, 2-axis stabilization mechanisms, and thermal management systems into compact, flight-ready packages. 

The technical challenges are broad, and so is the ownership. This is a hands-on role on a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team. Your work will span the entire development lifecycle, from initial requirements and rapid prototyping through flight testing and production transition. This is a highly cross-functional role centered on ensuring that third-party payloads are successfully integrated, qualified, and operated aboard our mHAB (micro High-Altitude Balloon) systems. You will be a trusted technical partner for our customers, many of whom have existing payloads not yet designed for the stratospheric environment, and will guide them from initial interface design through flight operations.

This role demands the mindset of a systems engineer and the heart of a customer advocate. At times you will function as a deputy project lead, independently coordinating across customers, vendors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: 

Customer Integration & Technical Support

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers integrating third-party payloads onto Urban Sky's balloon platforms
• Guide customers through mechanical interface design, including structural provisions for stratospheric shock loads, thermal environments, and near-vacuum pressure conditions
• Review and provide feedback on customer payload designs to ensure compatibility with Urban Sky's mHAB systems and the stratospheric environment
• Support customers in developing environmental design provisions so that payloads can survive and operate in the stratosphere

Integration, Test, & Verification

• Lead and support payload integration checkout activities, including mechanical fit checks and functional verification
• Execute and coordinate shock load testing and environmental qualification testing for customer payloads
• Support flight testing and post-flight assessment, working closely with our flight operations team
• Develop and maintain integration procedures, test plans, and technical documentation

RF & Communications

• Support customers requiring RF solutions, including tactical direct line-of-sight radio and SDR (Software Defined Radio) integrations
• Provide guidance on mechanical interfacing for antenna systems, antenna selection and optimization, and RF isolation techniques
• Interface with HUSKY bus integration, including power distribution, communications connectivity, and data relay and/or backhaul

Field Operations & Logistics

• Travel with customers and join them in the field for launches, demonstrations, and field exercises
• Coordinate logistics for customer events: travel arrangements, timelines, event preparation, and on-site provisions
• Build and maintain a deployable field provisions to ensure customers and Urban Sky team members can operate with all necessary provisions in the field
• Maintain the payload integration facility - keeping it clean, organized, and stocked with the tools and hardware customers need

Program & Customer Relationship Management

• Act as project lead for customer payload integration programs, independently managing customer and vendor coordination
• Proactively identify customer needs before they arise and take initiative to address them
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve the customer experience throughout the integration and operations lifecycle
• Document procedures, integration guides, and lessons learned to build institutional knowledge and improve repeatability

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of engineering experience with a strong mechanical engineering foundation
• Demonstrated experience supporting integration and test programs, including environmental or structural testing
• Systems engineering mindset with the ability to independently lead customer and vendor coordination
• Strong RF knowledge, including experience with tactical radios, SDR solutions, antenna selection, and RF isolation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable writing procedures, technical documentation, and customer-facing materials
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage logistics and coordinate details across multiple concurrent programs

A successful candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in a CNC machining quoting environment.
